1 Nzembo ya kozongisa matondi. Bino nyonso bato ya mokili mobimba, boganga na esengo epai na Yawe!

Everyone in the world should shout joyfully to Yahweh!

2 Bosalela Yawe na esengo, mpe boya liboso na Ye na banzembo ya esengo.

We should worship Yahweh gladly! We should come before him singing joyful songs.

3 Boyeba ete Yawe nde azali Nzambe; Ye nde asala biso, mpe tozali bato na Ye. Solo, tozali bato na Ye mpe etonga oyo aleisaka.

We should acknowledge/recognize that Yahweh is God; it is he who made us, [so] we belong to him. We are the people that he takes care of [MET]; we are [like] sheep that are cared for by their shepherd.

4 Bokota na bikuke na Ye na kozongisa matondi, bokota na lopango na Ye na kokumisa. Bosanzola Ye, bopambola Kombo na Ye.

Enter the gates [of his temple] thanking him; enter the courtyard [of the temple] singing songs to praise him! Thank him and praise him,

5 Pamba te Yawe azali malamu; bolingo na Ye ewumelaka seko na seko, mpe boyengebene na Ye, libela na libela.

because Yahweh always [does] good [things for us]. He faithfully loves us, and (is faithful/is loyal to us forever/will never forsake us).
