1 Yawe alobaki na Moyize:
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
2 « Pesa mitindo oyo na bana ya Isalaele: ‹ Tango bokokota na Kanana, tala mokili oyo ekopesamela bino lokola libula, mokili ya Kanana elongo na bandelo na yango oyo:
“Instruct the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them: When you will have entered into the land of Canaan, and it has fallen into your possession by lot, it shall be bound by these limits:
3 Na ngambo ya sude, mondelo na bino ekobanda na esobe ya Tsini mpe ekolanda mondelo ya mokili ya Edomi. Na ngambo ya este, mondelo na bino ya sude ekobanda na ebale monene ya Barozo,
The southern part shall begin from the wilderness of Sin, which is next to Edom, and it shall have the Sea of Salt as a limit to the east.
4 ekokita na sude ya ebandeli ya ngomba Akarabimi mpe ekoleka na Tsini kino na sude ya Kadeshi-Barinea; ekokoba na Atsari-Adari mpe ekoleka na Atsimoni.
It shall circle on the south side along the ascent of the Scorpion, by this way crossing into Senna, and passing through, from the south, as far as Kadesh-barnea, from which its confines shall go out to the town called Adar, and extend even to Azmon.
5 Longwa na Atsimoni, ekoleka na mayi ya lubwaku ya Ejipito mpo na kosuka na ebale monene.
And its limits shall go around from Azmon to the Torrent of Egypt, and shall end at the shore of the Great Sea.
6 Mondelo na bino ya ngambo ya weste ekozala ebale monene Mediterane.
Then the western region shall begin from the Great Sea, and the same shall be its end.
7 Na ngambo ya nor, mondelo na bino ekobanda na ebale monene Mediterane kino na ngomba Ori.
Furthermore, toward the northern region, its limits shall begin from the Great Sea, passing through even to the highest mountain.
8 Longwa na ngomba Ori, bokolekisa yango na Lebo-Amati mpo na kosuka na Tsedadi.
From there, it limits shall advance into Hamath, as far as the limits of Zedad.
9 Longwa na Tsedadi, ekoleka na Zifironi mpe ekokoma na Atsari-Enani. Yango nde ekozala mondelo na bino ya ngambo ya nor.
And its confines shall go all the way to Ziphron, and to the village of Enan. These shall be the limits on the northern side.
10 Na ngambo ya este, mondelo na bino ekobanda na Atsari-Enani kino na Shefami;
From there, its limits shall be measured, facing the east side, from the village of Enan as far as Shepham.
11 longwa na Shefami, ekokita na Ribila na ngambo ya este ya Ayini mpe ekolanda ebale ya Kinereti, na ngambo na yango ya este,
And from Shepham, the boundaries shall descend into Riblah, opposite the fountain of Daphnis. From there, the boundaries shall pass through, opposite the east, to the Sea of Chinnereth,
12 kino na Yordani mpo na kosuka na ebale monene ya Barozo. Ezali ndenge wana nde mokili na bino ekozala elongo na bandelo oyo ezingeli yango. › »
and shall extend as far as the Jordan, and, at the furthest extent, shall be enclosed by the Sea of Salt. You shall have this land, with its borders all around.”
13 Moyize apesaki mitindo oyo na bana ya Isalaele: « Tala yango wana, mokili oyo bokokabola na zeke, mokili oyo Yawe apesaki mitindo ete bapesa yango na mabota libwa na ndambo.
And Moses instructed the sons of Israel, saying: “This shall be the land which you shall possess by lot, and which the Lord has ordered to be given to the nine tribes, and to the half tribe.
14 Pamba te ndako na ndako ya libota ya Ribeni mpe ndako na ndako ya libota ya Gadi elongo na ndambo ya libota ya Manase esilaki kozwa libula na yango.
For the tribe of the sons of Ruben, by their families, and the tribe of the sons of Gad, according to the number of their kinships, and also one half of the tribe of Manasseh,
15 Mabota oyo mibale na ndambo ezwaki libula na yango na ngambo ya este ya Yordani, oyo etalana na Jeriko. »
that is, two and a half tribes, have received their portion across the Jordan, opposite Jericho, toward the eastern side.”
16 Yawe alobaki lisusu na Moyize:
And the Lord said to Moses:
17 « Tala bato oyo bakokabola mokili kati na bino: Nganga-Nzambe Eleazari mpe Jozue, mwana mobali ya Nuni.
“These are the names of the men, who shall divide the land for you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun,
18 Bokozwa lisusu mokambi moko kati na libota moko na moko mpo na kokabola mokili.
and one leader from each tribe,
19 Tala bakombo na bango: Mpo na libota ya Yuda: Kalebi, mwana mobali ya Yefune;
whose names are these: from the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh;
20 mpo na libota ya Simeoni: Samuele, mwana mobali ya Amiwudi;
from the tribe of Simeon, Samuel the son of Ammihud;
21 mpo na libota ya Benjame: Elidadi, mwana mobali ya Kisiloni;
from the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon;
22 mpo na libota ya Dani: mokambi Buki, mwana mobali ya Yogili;
from the tribe of the sons of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli;
23 mpo na bana ya Jozefi, libota ya Manase: mokambi Anieli, mwana mobali ya Efodi;
of the sons of Joseph, from the tribe of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod;
24 libota ya Efrayimi: mokambi Kemweli, mwana mobali ya Shifitani;
from the tribe of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan;
25 mpo na libota ya Zabuloni: mokambi Elitsafani, mwana mobali ya Parinaki;
from the tribe of Zebulon, Elizaphan the son of Parnach;
26 mpo na libota ya Isakari: mokambi Palitieli, mwana mobali ya Azani;
from the tribe of Issachar, Paltiel the leader, the son of Azzan;
27 mpo na libota ya Aseri: mokambi Ayiwudi, mwana mobali ya Shelomi;
from the tribe of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi;
28 mpo na libota ya Nefitali: mokambi Padeyeli, mwana mobali ya Amiwudi. »
from the tribe of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.”
29 Bango wana nde bato oyo Yawe apesaki mokumba ya kokabola mokili ya Kanana kati na bana ya Isalaele.
These are the ones that the Lord has ordered to divide the land of Canaan to the sons of Israel.
