Now these are the priests and the Levites who ascended with Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,
2 Amaria, Maluki, Atushi,
Amariah, Malluch, Hattush,
3 Shekania, Rewumi, Meremoti,
Shecaniah, Rehum, Meremoth,
4 Ido, Ginetoyi, Abiya,
Iddo, Ginnethon, Abijah,
5 Miyamini, Maadia, Biliga,
Mijamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,
6 Shemaya, Yoyaribi, Yedaeya,
Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah, Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah.
7 Salu, Amoki, Ilikia, Yedaeya. Bango nde bazalaki bakambi ya Banganga-Nzambe elongo na baninga na bango na tango ya Jozue.
These were the leaders of the priests and of their brothers, in the days of Jeshua.

And in the days of Joiakim, the priests and the leaders of the families were: of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah;

of Ezra, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan;

16 mpo na libota ya Ido: Zakari; mpo na libota ya Ginetoni: Meshulami;
of Adaiah, Zechariah; of Ginnethon, Meshullam;
17 mpo na libota ya Abiya: Zikiri; mpo na libota ya Minyamini: Moadia, Pilitayi;
of Abijah, Zichri; of Mijamin and Moadiah, Piltai;
18 mpo na libota ya Biliga: Shamuwa; mpo na libota ya Shemaya: Jonatan;
of Bilgah, Shammua; of Shemaiah, Jehonathan;
19 mpo na libota ya Yoyaribi: Matinayi; mpo na libota ya Yedaeya: Uzi;
of Joiarib, Mattenai; of Jedaiah, Uzzi;
20 mpo na libota ya Salu: Kalayi; mpo na libota ya Amoki: Eberi;
of Sallai, Kallai; of Amok, Eber;
21 mpo na libota ya Ilikia: Ashabia; mpo na libota ya Yedaeya: Netaneeli.
of Hilkiah, Hashabiah; of Jedaiah, Nethanel.
22 Na tango ya Eliashibi, Yoyada, Yoanani mpe Yaduwa, bakomaki bakombo ya Balevi oyo bazalaki bakambi ya mabota mpe bakombo ya Banganga-Nzambe na tango ya Dariusi, mokonzi ya Persi.
The Levites, in the days of Eliashib, and Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, and the priests, were written according to the leaders of the families, during the reign of Darius the Persian.
23 Bakomaki bakombo ya bakitani ya Levi oyo bazalaki bakambi ya mabota kino na tango ya Yoanani, mwana mobali ya Eliashibi, kati na buku ya bokoko.
The sons of Levi, according to the leaders of the families, were written in the book of the words of those days, even to the days of Johanan, the son of Eliashib.
24 Tala bato oyo bazalaki bakambi ya Balevi: Ashabia, Sherebia mpe Jozue, mwana mobali ya Kadimieli, mpe baninga na bango ya mosala. Now the leaders of the Levites were Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua, the son of Kadmiel, and their brothers, in their turns, so that they would praise and confess, according to the precept of David, the man of God. And they served equally and in order.

These were in the days of Joiakim, the son of Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah, the governor, and of Ezra, the priest and scribe.
27 Tango babulisaki mir ya Yelusalemi, babengisaki Balevi na Yelusalemi longwa na bisika oyo bazalaki kovanda, mpo na kosepela na esengo makasi feti ya libulisi na nzela ya banzembo ya kozongisa matondi epai ya Nzambe mpe na nzela ya mindule ya manzanza, ya lindanda mpe ya lire.
Now at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem, they sought the Levites from all their places, so that they might bring them to Jerusalem, and so that they might keep the dedication, and rejoice with thanksgiving, and with singing, and with cymbals, psalteries, and lyres.
28 Babengisaki lisusu bayembi longwa na etuka oyo ezalaki zingazinga ya Yelusalemi, longwa na bamboka mike-mike ya bato ya Netofa,
Now the sons of the singing men were gathered from the plains surrounding Jerusalem, and from the villages of Netophati,
29 longwa na Beti-Giligali mpe longwa na etuka ya Geba mpe ya Azimaveti, pamba te bayembi batongaki bamboka na bango ya mike-mike zingazinga ya Yelusalemi.
and from the house of Gilgal, and from the regions of Geba and Azmaveth. For the singing men had built villages for themselves around Jerusalem.
30 Tango Banganga-Nzambe mpe Balevi bamipetolaki, bapetolaki mpe bato, bikuke mpe mir.
And the priests and the Levites were cleansed, and they cleansed the people, and the gates, and the wall.
31 Namatisaki bakambi ya Yuda likolo ya mir mpe nasalaki masanga mibale ya bayembi mpo na kotonda Nzambe. Lisanga ya liboso ezalaki kotambola na likolo ya mir na ngambo ya loboko ya mobali, na nzela ya Ekuke ya Fulu.
Then I caused the leaders of Judah to ascend the wall, and I appointed two great choirs to give praise. And they went to the right upon the wall, toward the dung gate.
32 Na sima na bango, bato oyo bazalaki kolanda: Oze mpe ndambo ya bakambi ya Yuda,
And after them went Hoshaiah, and one half part of the leadership of Judah,
33 Azaria, Esidrasi, Meshulami,
and Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam,
34 Yuda, Benjame, Shemaya, Jeremi,
Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah.
35 ndambo ya Banganga-Nzambe oyo bazalaki na bakelelo na bango, Zakari, mwana mobali ya Jonatan, mwana mobali ya Shemaya, mwana mobali ya Matania, mwana mobali ya Mishe, mwana mobali ya Zakuri, mwana mobali ya Azafi;
And some of the sons of the priests went forth with trumpets: Zachariah, the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph.

And his brothers, Shemaiah, and Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, and Judah, and Hanani, went forth with the canticles of David, the man of God. And Ezra, the scribe, was before them at the fountain gate.
37 Na Ekuke ya Etima, liboso na bango, bamataki bibutelo oyo ezalaki komema na engumba ya Davidi, na esika oyo bamatelaka na mir, mpe balekaki likolo ya ndako ya Davidi kino na Ekuke ya Mayi, na ngambo ya este.
And opposite them, they ascended by the steps of the city of David, at the ascent of the wall above the house of David, and as far as the water gate to the east.
38 Lisanga ya mibale ya bayembi ezalaki kotambola na nzela ya ngambo ya loboko ya mwasi. Nazalaki kolanda bango na likolo ya mir elongo na ndambo ya bato, longwa na ndako molayi ya Fulu kino na mir ya monene,
And the second choir of those who gave thanks went forth on the opposite side, and I went after them, and one half part of the people were upon the wall, and upon the tower of the furnaces, as far as the widest wall,
39 na likolo ya Ekuke ya Efrayimi, ya Ekuke ya Yelusalemi, ya Ekuke ya Mbisi, ya ndako molayi, ya Ananeyeli mpe ya ndako molayi ya Meya kino na Ekuke ya Bameme. Basukelaki na Ekuke ya Boloko.
and above the gate of Ephraim, and above the ancient gate, and above the fish gate, and the tower of Hananel, and the tower of Hamath, and as far as the flock gate. And they stood still at the watch gate.
40 Masanga nyonso mibale ya bayembi, oyo ezalaki kotonda Nzambe ezwaki esika kati na Tempelo ya Nzambe. Nasalaki mpe lolenge moko mpo na kati-kati ya bakambi ya bato
And the two choirs of those who gave praise stood still at the house of God, with myself and one half part of the magistrates who were with me.
41 mpe mpo na Banganga-Nzambe oyo: Eliakimi, Maaseya, Minyamini, Mishe, Eliowenayi, Zakari mpe Anania oyo bamemaki bakelelo na bango.
And the priests, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Mijamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, Hananiah, went forth with trumpets,
42 Ezalaki mpe na Maaseya, Shemaya, Eleazari, Uzi, Yoanani, Malikiya, Elami mpe Ezeri. Masanga ya bayembi ezalaki koyemba na mongongo makasi na bokambami ya Yiziraya.
with Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer. And the singers were singing clearly, and Jezrahiah was their foremost leader.
43 Na mokolo wana, bato babonzaki bambeka ebele mpe bazalaki na esengo mpo ete Nzambe apesaki bango esengo monene. Bongo ezala basi mpe bana, batondaki na esengo mpe koganga ya esengo ya Yelusalemi ezalaki koyokana kino na mosika.
And on that day, they immolated great sacrifices, and they rejoiced. For God had caused them to rejoice with great joy. And their wives and children also were glad. And the rejoicing of Jerusalem was heard from far away.
44 Na tango wana, baponaki mibali mpe bapesaki bango mokumba ya kobatela bibombelo ya makabo, ya bambuma ya liboso mpe ya biteni ya zomi; bapesaki bango mpe mokumba ya kokongola biloko oyo Mobeko ekataki ete ezali mpo na Banganga-Nzambe mpe Balevi, biloko yango esengeli kowuta na bilanga oyo ezingeli bingumba. Solo, bato ya Yuda bazalaki kosepela makasi komona ete Banganga-Nzambe mpe Balevi bazongeli penza mosala na bango,
On that day also, they enrolled men over the storehouses of the treasury, for the libations, and for the first-fruits, and for the tithes, so that the leaders of the city might bring these in, by them, with proper thanksgiving, for the priests and the Levites. For Judah was rejoicing in the priests and the Levites who were assisting.
45 bazali kosala mosala ya Nzambe na bango mpe mosala ya kopetola, mpe bayembi elongo na bakengeli bikuke bazali kosala mosala na bango kolanda mitindo ya Davidi mpe ya Salomo, mwana na ye ya mobali.
And they kept the vigil of their God, and the vigil of expiation, with the singing men and the gatekeepers, in accord with the precept of David, and of Solomon, his son.
46 Na tango ya Davidi mpe ya Azafi, ezalaki na bakambi ya babeti mindule mpe ya banzembo mpo na kokumisa mpe kozongisa matondi epai ya Nzambe.
For in the days of David and Asaph, from the beginning, there were leaders appointed over the singers, to give praise in verses, and to confess to God.
47 Na tango ya Zorobabeli mpe ya Neyemi, bato nyonso ya Isalaele bazalaki kopesa, mikolo nyonso, biloko oyo ekatama mpo na babeti mindule mpe bakengeli bikuke; bazalaki mpe kopesa biloko ya bule epai ya Balevi, bongo Balevi mpe, na ngambo na bango, bazalaki kopesa biloko ya bule epai ya bakitani ya Aron.
And all of Israel, in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave portions to the singing men and to the gatekeepers, for each day, and they sanctified the Levites, and the Levites sanctified the sons of Aaron.
