Matayo 17
1 Sima na mikolo motoba, Yesu azwaki Petelo, Jake mpe Yoane, ndeko mobali ya Jake; amemaki bango na pembeni, na likolo ya ngomba moko ya molayi.

2 Yesu abongolamaki na miso na bango: elongi na Ye ekomaki kongenga lokola moyi, bilamba na Ye ekomaki pembe makasi lokola pole.
and was transfygured before them: and his face did shyne as the sunne and his clothes were as whyte as the light.
3 Mbala moko, bamonaki Moyize mpe Eliya bazali kosolola na Yesu.
And beholde ther appered vnto the Moses and Helyas talkinge with him.
4 Petelo alobaki na Yesu: — Nkolo, eleki malamu mpo na biso kotikala awa! Soki ondimi, nakotonga bandako misato ya kapo: moko mpo na Yo, moko mpo na Moyize, mpe moko mpo na Eliya!
Then answered Peter and sayde to Iesus: master here is good beinge for vs. If thou wylt leet vs make here. iii. tabernacles one for the and one for Moses and one for Helyas.
5 Wana azalaki nanu koloba, lipata moko ezalaki kongenga lokola moyi, ezipaki bango, mpe mongongo moko eyokanaki wuta kati na lipata yango: « Oyo azali Mwana na Ngai ya bolingo, nasepelaka na Ye mingi; boyoka Ye! »
Whyll he yet spake beholde a bright cloude shadowed them. And beholde there came a voyce out of ye cloude sayinge: this is my deare sonne in whom I delite heare him.

And Iesus came and touched them and sayde: aryse and be not afrayed.
8 Batombolaki miso mpe bamonaki moto mosusu te, kaka Yesu.
And when they looked vp they saw no man saue Iesus onely.
9 Wana bazalaki kokita na ngomba, Yesu apesaki bango mitindo oyo: — Makambo oyo bowuti komona, boyebisa yango na moto moko te kino tango Mwana na Moto akosekwa kati na bakufi.
And as they came doune from the mountayne Iesus charged them sayinge: se yt ye shewe the vision to no man vntyll the sonne of man be rysen ageyne from deeth.
10 Bayekoli batunaki Yesu: — Mpo na nini balakisi ya Mobeko balobaka ete Eliya asengeli koya moto ya liboso?
And his disciples axed of him sayinge: Why then saye the scribes yt Helyas muste fyrst come?
11 Yesu azongisaki: — Solo, Eliya asengeli koya mpe akozongisa makambo nyonso na molongo.
Iesus answered and sayd vnto them: Helyas shall fyrst come and restore all thinges.

Master have mercy on my sonne for he is franticke: and is sore vexed. And oft tymes he falleth into the fyre and oft into ye water
16 Namemaki ye epai ya bayekoli na Yo, kasi bakoki te kobikisa ye.
And I brought him to thy disciples and they coulde not heale him.
17 Yesu alobaki: — Ekeke ya bato mabe mpe bazanga kondima! Kino tango nini nakozala na bino elongo? Kino tango nini nakokanga motema mpo na bino? Bomemela Ngai mwana yango.
Iesus answered and sayde: O generacion faythles and croked: how longe shall I be with you? how longe shall I suffre you? bring him hidder to me.
18 Yesu abenganaki molimo mabe, mpe molimo mabe yango ebimaki kati na mwana. Kaka na tango yango, mwana abikaki.
And Iesus rebuked the devyll and he ca out of him. And ye child was healed even yt same houre.
19 Bongo bayekoli bakendeki na nkuku epai ya Yesu mpe batunaki: — Mpo na nini, biso, tolongaki te kobengana molimo yango?
Then came the disciples to Iesus secretly and sayde: Why could not we cast him out?
20 Yesu azongiselaki bango: — Ezali mpo ete bozali na kondima moke. Nazali koloba na bino penza ya solo: soki kondima na bino ezalaki lokola mbuma ya mutarde, bokokaki koloba na ngomba oyo: « Longwa awa, kende kuna; » mpe ekokende penza. Eloko moko te ekoki kozanga kosalemela bino. [

As they passed the tyme in Galile Iesus sayde vnto them: the sonne of man shalbe betrayed into the hondes of men
