< Malako 6 >
1 Sima na Yesu kolongwa na ndako yango, azongaki elongo na bayekoli na Ye, na engumba epai wapi abotama.
Jesus left that place, and accompanied by his disciples, came into his own part of the country.
2 Wana mokolo ya Saba ekokaki, Yesu akomaki koteya kati na ndako ya mayangani. Kati na bato oyo bayokaki Ye, ebele bakamwaki makasi. Batunaki: « Boni, moto oyo azwi makambo oyo wapi? Nani apesi ye bwanya ya boye? Azwi wapi nguya ya kosala bikamwa oyo nyonso?
When it came Sabbath he began to teach in the synagogue; many, as they listened, were deeply impressed. "Where did he get all this?" they asked; "What is the wisdom that is given to this man, and miracles such as these that happen at his hands?
3 Ezali ye te mosali mabaya? Ezali ye te mwana ya Mari mpe ndeko ya Jake, Jozefi, Jide mpe Simona? Boni, bandeko na ye ya basi bavandaka awa te elongo na biso? » Yango wana, ezalaki penza libaku mabe mpo na bango kondima Ye.
Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, and the brother of Jamesand Joses and Judas and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us?"
4 Yesu alobaki na bango: « Ezali kaka kati na ekolo na ye, kati na libota na ye mpe kati na ndako na ye nde mosakoli azwaka lokumu te. »
So they disapproved of him. Then Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his native land and among his relatives and in his home."
5 Alongaki te kosala bikamwa na esika yango, kasi abikisaki kaka mwa ndambo ya babeli oyo atielaki maboko.
And he was unable to do any miracle there, except that he laid his hands on a few sick folk and healed them.
6 Boye, akamwaki mingi penza bozangi kondima na bango. Yesu azalaki kotambola na bamboka ya zingazinga mpo na koteya.
And he wondered at their lack of faith. So he went among the neighboring villages, teaching.
7 Abengaki bantoma na Ye zomi na mibale, atindaki bango mibale-mibale, mpe apesaki bango bokonzi ya kobengana milimo mabe.
Then summoning the Twelve to him, he began to send them out two by two, giving them authority over unclean spirits.
8 Alobaki na bango: « Bomema eloko moko te mpo na mobembo, longola kaka lingenda. » Alobaki na bango: « Bomema te, ezala sakosi to lipa to mbongo kati na mokaba na bino.
He bade them take nothing but a staff for their journey; no bread, no wallet, no coins in their purse;
9 Bolata basandale na makolo na bino, kasi bomema banzambala mibale te.
they were to wear sandals, but not to put on two tunics.
10 Na ndako nyonso oyo bakoyamba bino, bovanda kuna kino tango bokolongwa.
"Wherever you enter a house," he told them, "remain there until you leave the place;
11 Mpe soki na esika songolo, baboyi koyamba mpe koyoka bino, bolongwa na esika yango, bopupola putulu ya makolo na bino; yango ekozala litatoli oyo ekofunda bango. »
and if any place does not receive you, or listen to you, as you go out of it shake off the dust under your feet, as a warning to them."
12 Bantoma bakendeki mpe bateyaki bato ete babongola mitema.
So they fared forth and summoned men to repentance.
13 Bazalaki kobengana milimo mabe ebele mpe kobikisa babeli mingi na kopakola bango mafuta.
They cast out many demons, and anointed many sick people with oil and cured them.
14 Mokonzi Erode ayokaki sango na tina na Yesu, pamba te Kombo na Ye eyebanaki makasi. Bazalaki koloba boye na tina na Yesu: « Yoane Mobatisi asekwi kati na bakufi! Yango wana azali na nguya ya kosala bikamwa! »
King Herod heard it, for the name of Jesus had become well known, People were saying, "Johnthe Baptist is risen from the dead, and on that account these powers are working in him."
15 Bato mosusu bazalaki koloba: « Ezali Eliya! » Bamosusu: « Azali mosakoli, lokola moko kati na basakoli ya kala! »
"He is Elijah," said others. And still others were saying, "He is a prophet, like one of the old prophets."
16 Kasi tango Erode azalaki koyoka maloba wana nyonso, azalaki komilobela: « Ezali Yoane oyo nakataki moto nde asekwi kati na bakufi! »
But when Herod heard, he said, "That Johnwhom I beheaded has come back to life."
17 Pamba te Erode amipeselaki mitindo ete bakanga Yoane minyololo mpe babwaka ye kati na boloko; asalaki bongo mpo na kosepelisa Erodiade, mwasi ya Filipo, ndeko na ye, oyo ye Erode abalaki.
Now this Herod had sent and arrested John, and bound him in prison, for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife, whom he had married.
18 Yoane azalaki koloba na Erode: « Ozali na ndingisa te ya kosangisa nzoto na mwasi ya ndeko na yo. »
For Johnhad often told Herod, "It is not right for you to live with your brother’s wife."
19 Erodiade akangelaki Yoane kanda kati na motema mpe azalaki koluka nzela ya kobomisa ye, kasi azalaki kokoka te,
So Herodias hated him, and wished to put him to death;
20 pamba te Erode azalaki kobanga Yoane, wana ayebaki ete Yoane azali moto ya sembo mpe mosantu, mpe azalaki kobatela ye. Tango nyonso oyo Erode azalaki koyoka Yoane koloba, azalaki komitungisa mingi; nzokande azalaki kaka kosepela koyoka ye.
but she could not, for Herod was afraid of Johnbecause he knew that he was a just and holy man. So he kept him safe. When he listened to Johnhe was much exercised, yet he found pleasure in listening to him.
21 Nzokande, na mokolo ya kosepela mbotama ya Erode, Erodiade akutanaki na libaku ya kokokisa mokano na ye. Na mokolo yango, Erode asalaki feti monene mpe abengisaki bakalaka, bakonzi minene ya basoda mpe bato ya lokumu ya Galile.
Then came a convenient day, when Herod on his birthday held a feast for his lords and generals and the leading men of Galilee,
22 Mwana mwasi ya Erodiade akotaki mpe abinaki, asepelisaki Erode mpe bato oyo abengisaki na feti. Mokonzi alobaki na mwana mwasi: — Senga ngai nyonso oyo okolinga, nakopesa yo yango!
at which the daughter of Herodias herself came in and danced. She charmed Herod and his guests. "Ask me whatever you want," said the king to the young girl, "and I will give it to you."
23 Mpe alapaki kutu ndayi epai na ye: — Nakopesa yo nyonso oyo okosenga ngai, ata ndambo ya bokonzi na ngai.
He even swore to her that whatever she asked, he would give it to her, up to half his kingdom.
24 Mwana mwasi abimaki mpe akendeki kotuna toli epai ya mama na ye: — Mama, nasenga nini? Mama na ye azongisaki: — Senga moto ya Yoane Mobatisi.
So she came out and said to her mother, "What shall I ask for?" "The head of Johnthe Baptist," she replied.
25 Mbala moko, mwana mwasi azongaki na lombangu epai ya mokonzi mpe alobaki na ye: — Nalingi ete opesa ngai, sik’oyo, na sani, moto ya Yoane Mobatisi.
So she at once hurried in to the king and made her request, "I want you," she said, "to give me, without delay, the head of Johnthe Baptist on a charger."
26 Mokonzi ayokaki mawa mingi na motema, kasi mpo na ndayi oyo alapaki mpe mpo na bato oyo abengisaki na feti, aboyaki kopimela ye yango.
Then the king was exceedingly sorry; yet on account of his oaths and his guests he was unwilling to disappoint her.
27 Mbala moko, mokonzi atindaki moko kati na bakengeli na ye ete amema moto ya Yoane. Mokengeli yango akendeki na boloko, akataki moto ya Yoane,
So he sent at once a soldier of the guard with orders to bring his head.
28 amemaki yango, na sani; apesaki yango epai ya mwana mwasi, mpe mwana mwasi apesaki yango epai ya mama na ye.
And he went and beheaded Johnin prison, brought his head on a platter, and gave it to the young girl, and she gave it to her mother.
29 Tango bayekoli ya Yoane bayokaki sango yango, bayaki kozwa nzoto na ye mpe batiaki yango kati na kunda moko.
When John’s disciples heard of this, they came, and took his body, and laid it in a tomb.
30 Tango bantoma bazongaki, basanganaki pene ya Yesu mpe bayebisaki Ye makambo nyonso oyo bawutaki kosala mpe nyonso oyo bateyaki.
When the apostles had come back to Jesus, they told him all the things they had done, and all they had taught.
31 Boye, lokola bato mingi bazalaki koya mpe kozonga, mpe bazalaki kozwa ata tango te ya kolia, Yesu alobaki na bango: « Boya elongo na Ngai, na esika oyo ebombama mpe bopema mwa moke. »
Then he said to them, "Come apart, yourselves, to a quiet spot, and rest a while." For there were many coming and going, and they could not get time even to eat.
32 Bakendeki na bwato, na esika oyo ebombama.
So they sailed away privately to a solitary place.
33 Kasi bato ebele oyo bamonaki bango kokende, basosolaki ete ezali bango. Boye balandaki bango mbangu na makolo longwa na bingumba nyonso mpe bakomaki liboso na bango, na esika oyo bazalaki kokende.
However, many saw them going, and recognized them, and ran together by land from all the neighboring towns, and arrived there first.
34 Tango Yesu akitaki wuta na bwato mpe amonaki ebele ya bato penza, ayokaki mawa makasi mpo na bango, pamba te bazalaki lokola bameme oyo ezangi mobateli. Boye, abandaki koteya bango makambo ebele.
So when Jesus landed he saw a vast multitude, and he was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd, and he began to teach them many things.
35 Lokola ngonga epusanaki makasi, bayekoli na Ye bapusanaki pene na Ye mpe balobaki na Ye: — Ngonga epusani makasi, mpe esika oyo ezali esobe!
Then when the day was now far spent, his disciples came to him and said. "This place is desert, and the day is now far spent.
36 Zongisa bango mpo ete bakende komisombela biloko ya kolia kati na bamboka mpe bilanga ya zingazinga.
Send the people away so that they may go to the farms and villages about here, and buy themselves something to eat."
37 Kasi Yesu azongisaki: — Bopesa bango bino moko biloko ya kolia. Bayekoli balobaki na Ye: — Ondimi penza tokende kosomba mapa mpe toleisa bango, na mbongo ya bibende nkama mibale?
In answer he said to them, "You yourselves are to give them food." "Are we to go and buy fifty dollars worth of bread," they said, "and give them food?"
38 Yesu atunaki bango: — Mapa boni bozali na yango? Bokende nanu kotala. Bakendeki kotala mpe balobaki: — Tozali na mapa mitano mpe bambisi mibale.
"How many loaves have you?" he answered. "Go and see." When they had found out, they said, "Five, and two fishes."
39 Yesu apesaki bango mitindo ete bakabola bato nyonso na masanga mpe bavandisa bango na matiti ya mobesu.
Then he directed them to make all sit down by companies on the green grass.
40 Boye, batandamaki na milongo ya bato nkama moko mpe ya bato tuku mitano.
And they sat down like beds in a garden, by hundreds and by fifties.
41 Yesu akamataki mapa mitano mpe bambisi mibale yango, atombolaki miso na Ye na likolo mpe azongisaki matondi epai ya Nzambe; akataki mapa yango mpe apesaki biteni na yango epai ya bayekoli na Ye mpo ete bakabola yango epai na bato. Akabolaki lisusu bambisi nyonso mibale epai ya bango nyonso.
Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven he blessed, broke the loaves in pieces, and kept giving to the disciples to distribute.
42 Bato nyonso baliaki mpe batondaki.
The two fish also he divided to them all.
43 Bongo bayekoli balokotaki biteni ya mapa mpe ya bambisi, oyo etikalaki; mpe biteni yango etondisaki bitunga zomi na mibale.
All ate and had enough; and they carried away broken fragments of bread and of fish, enough to fill twelve baskets.
44 Bato oyo baliaki mapa yango bazalaki mibali pene nkoto mitano.
Those who ate the bread were five thousand adult men.
45 Mbala moko, Yesu atindaki bayekoli na Ye ete bamata na bwato mpe bakende liboso na Ye, na Betisaida, na ngambo mosusu ya ebale, wana Ye moko akozongisa bato.
Then he at once compelled the disciples to embark in the boat and go before him to Bethsaida on the other side, while he sent the people away.
46 Sima na Ye kozongisa bato yango, amataki na ngomba mpo na kosambela.
After he had taken leave of them, he went away into the mountain to pray.
47 Wana ekomaki pokwa, bwato ekomaki na kati-kati ya ebale; mpe Ye, Yesu, azalaki Ye moko na mokili,
And when evening came, the boat was half-way across the sea, while he was on shore alone;
48 amonaki bayekoli na Ye kobunda-bunda mpo na koluka nkayi, pamba te mopepe ezalaki kozongisa bango na sima. Wana tongo ekomaki pene ya kotana, Yesu atambolaki likolo ya mayi ya ebale mpo na kolanda bango, mpe alingaki kutu koleka bango.
but when he saw them distressed in rowing (for the wind was against them), about the fourth watch of the night he went to them, walking upon the sea,
49 Tango bayekoli bamonaki Yesu azali kotambola likolo ya mayi ya ebale, bakanisaki ete ezali elima, mpe bakomaki koganga.
they thought it was an apparition and shrieked aloud, for they all saw him and were terrified.
50 Solo, bango nyonso bamonaki Ye, mpe somo makasi ekangaki bango. Mbala moko, Yesu alobaki na bango: « Kimia! Kimia! Bobanga te! Ezali Ngai! »
But he at once spoke with them, saying. "Courage! It is I. Do not be afraid!"
51 Bongo amataki na bwato epai bayekoli bazalaki, mpe mopepe ekitaki. Bakamwaki mingi penza,
Then he got into the boat beside them, and the wind ceased, and they were utterly astounded,
52 pamba te basosolaki te tina ya likamwisi ya mapa, mpo ete mayele na bango ezalaki ya kozipama.
for they had not understood about the loaves; on the contrary their heart was hardened.
53 Sima na bango kokatisa ebale, bakomaki na mabele ya Genezareti mpe bakangisaki bwato na bango na libongo.
When they had crossed over they landed at Gennesaret and moored to the shore.
54 Tango kaka bakitaki na bwato, bato basosolaki mbala moko Yesu.
As soon as they got out of the boat, the people at once recognized him,
55 Boye, bato bapotaki mbangu kati na etuka wana mobimba mpe bakomaki komema babeli, na tsipoyi, na bisika nyonso oyo bayokaki ete Yesu akomi kuna.
and began running over that whole country, and carrying the sick about on their beds, wherever they heard he was.
56 Na bisika nyonso oyo Yesu azalaki kokende, na bamboka, na bingumba to na bilanga, bazalaki komema babeli na bisika oyo bato ebele bakutanaka, mpe bazalaki kosenga na Yesu ete apesa babeli nzela ya kosimba ata singa ya songe ya elamba na Ye. Mpe bato nyonso oyo bazalaki kolonga kosimba yango bazalaki kobika na bokono na bango.
And whenever he entered into villages or cities or the fields they would lay the sick in the market-places and beseech him to let them touch even the tassel of his cloak, and all who touched him were made well.
