1 Pamba te mokolo yango ezali koya; ekozala moto makasi lokola fulu ya moto. Bato nyonso ya lofundu mpe bato nyonso oyo basalaka mabe bakokoma lokola matiti ya kokawuka. Mokolo yango ekozikisa bango, » elobi Yawe, Mokonzi ya mampinga. « Ekotikala ata mosisa to etape te.
For, behold, the day comes, it burns as a furnace, and all the proud, and all who work wickedness, shall be stubble. And the day that comes shall burn them up, says Jehovah of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

4 « Bokanisa Mobeko, malako mpe mitindo oyo napesaki epai ya Moyize, mosali na Ngai, na ngomba Orebi, mpo na Isalaele mobimba.
Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded to him in Horeb for all Israel, even statutes and ordinances.
5 Liboso ete mokolo ya Yawe eya, mokolo monene mpe ya somo, nakotindela bino mosakoli Eliya.
Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and fearful day of Jehovah comes.
6 Akozongisa mitema ya batata epai ya bana, mpe mitema ya bana epai ya batata, soki te nakoya kobebisa mokili na nzela ya bilakeli mabe. »
And he shall turn the hearts of the fathers to the sons, and the heart of the sons to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
