< Bilombe 4 >
1 Sima na kufa ya Ewudi, bana ya Isalaele basalaki lisusu makambo mabe na miso ya Yawe.
And the sons of Israel add to do evil in the eyes of YHWH when Ehud is dead,
2 Yawe akabaki bango lisusu na maboko ya Yabini, mokonzi ya Kanana, oyo azalaki kovanda na Atsori. Sisera, mokonzi ya mampinga na ye ya basoda, azalaki kovanda na Arosheti-Goyimi.
and YHWH sells them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, who has reigned in Hazor, and Sisera [is] the head of his host, and he is dwelling in Harosheth of the nations;
3 Yabini azalaki na bashar nkama libwa ya bibende, mpe anyokolaki makasi bana ya Isalaele mibu tuku mibale. Bongo bana ya Isalaele bagangaki epai na Yawe mpo na kosenga lisungi.
and the sons of Israel cry to YHWH, for he has nine hundred chariots of iron, and he has oppressed the sons of Israel mightily [for] twenty years.
4 Na tango wana, Debora, mwasi mosakoli, mwasi ya engumba Lapidoti, azalaki kokamba Isalaele.
And Deborah, a woman, a prophetess, wife of Lapidoth, she is judging Israel at that time,
5 Azalaki kosambisa na se ya nzete ya mbila ya Debora, oyo ezalaki na kati ya Rama mpe Beteli, kati na etuka ya bangomba ya Efrayimi. Bana ya Isalaele bazalaki koya epai na ye mpo na kosambisama.
and she is dwelling under the palm-tree of Deborah, between Ramah and Beth-El, in the hill-country of Ephraim, and the sons of Israel go up to her for judgment.
6 Mokolo moko, abengisaki Baraki, mwana mobali ya Abinoami, moto ya Kedeshi ya Nefitali, mpe alobaki na ye: — Yawe, Nzambe ya Isalaele, apesi yo mitindo: « Kende, kamata elongo na yo bato nkoto zomi ya mabota ya Nefitali mpe ya Zabuloni, mpe mema bango na nzela oyo ekenda na ngomba Tabori.
And she sends and calls for Barak son of Abinoam, out of Kedesh-Naphtali, and says to him, “Has YHWH, God of Israel, not commanded? Go, and you have drawn toward Mount Tabor, and have taken with you ten thousand men, out of the sons of Naphtali, and out of the sons of Zebulun,
7 Nakomema Sisera, mokonzi ya basoda ya Yabini, na mayi moke ya Kishoni elongo na bashar mpe basoda na ye, mpe nakokaba ye na maboko na yo. »
and I have drawn to you, to the Brook of Kishon, Sisera, head of the host of Jabin, and his chariot, and his multitude, and have given him into your hand.”
8 Baraki azongiselaki Debora: — Soki okokende elongo na ngai, wana nakokende; kasi soki okokende na ngai te, wana ngai mpe nakokende te.
And Barak says to her, “If you go with me, then I have gone; and if you do not go with me, I do not go”;
9 Debora alobaki na ye: — Malamu, nakokende elongo na yo. Kasi yeba ete, na nzela oyo ozali kokende, lokumu ekozala ya yo te, pamba te Yawe akokaba Sisera na maboko ya mwasi. Boye, Debora akendeki elongo na Baraki, na mboka Kedeshi.
and she says, “I certainly go with you; only, surely your glory is not on the way which you are going, for YHWH sells Sisera into the hand of a woman”; and Deborah rises and goes with Barak to Kedesh.
10 Kuna na Kedeshi, Baraki abengisaki bato ya mabota ya Zabuloni mpe ya Nefitali. Bato nkoto zomi balandaki ye, mpe Debora akendeki elongo na ye.
And Barak calls Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh, and he goes up—ten thousand men [are] at his feet—and Deborah goes up with him.
11 Kaka na mokolo wana, Eberi, moto ya Keni, akabwanaki na bato mosusu ya Keni, bakitani ya Obabi, semeki ya Moyize. Mpe Eberi akendeki kino na terebente oyo ezali na Tsananimi, pembeni ya Kedeshi, mpo na kotelemisa ndako na ye ya kapo.
And Heber the Kenite has been separated from the Kenite, from the sons of Hobab father-in-law of Moses, and he stretches out his tent to the oak in Zaanaim, which [is] by Kedesh.
12 Tango bayebisaki Sisera ete Baraki, mwana mobali ya Abinoami, amataki na likolo ya ngomba Tabori,
And they declare to Sisera that Barak son of Abinoam has gone up to Mount Tabor,
13 Sisera abengisaki, longwa na Arosheti-Goyimi, bato nyonso oyo bazalaki na ye elongo, mpe asangisaki bashar nkama libwa ya bibende. Amemaki bango na mayi moke ya Kishoni.
and Sisera calls all his chariots, nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people who [are] with him, from Harosheth of the nations, to the Brook of Kishon.
14 Debora alobaki na Baraki: « Kende! Ezali lelo nde mokolo oyo Yawe akokaba Sisera na maboko na yo. » Baraki akitaki na ngomba Tabori, mpe bato nkoto zomi balandaki ye.
And Deborah says to Barak, “Rise, for this [is] the day in which YHWH has given Sisera into your hand; has YHWH not gone out before you?” And Barak goes down from Mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.
15 Wana Baraki azalaki kokende, Yawe apanzaki, na nzela ya mopanga na Ye, Sisera, bashar na ye nyonso mpe mampinga na ye ya basoda. Sisera asundolaki shar na ye mpe akimaki na makolo.
And YHWH destroys Sisera, and all the chariots, and all the camp, by the mouth of the sword, before Barak, and Sisera comes down from off the chariot, and flees on his feet.
16 Kasi Baraki alandaki bashar mpe mampinga kino na Arosheti-Goyimi. Mampinga nyonso ya basoda ya Sisera ekufaki na mopanga, ata moto moko te abikaki.
And Barak has pursued after the chariots and after the camp, to Harosheth of the nations, and all the camp of Sisera falls by the mouth of the sword—there has not been left even one.
17 Nzokande, Sisera akimaki na makolo kino na ndako ya kapo ya Yaeli, mwasi ya Eberi, moto ya Keni; pamba te boyokani ya malamu ezalaki kati na Yabini, mokonzi ya Atsori, mpe libota ya Eberi, moto ya Keni.
And Sisera has fled on his feet to the tent of Jael wife of Heber the Kenite, for [there is] peace between Jabin king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite;
18 Yaeli abimaki mpo na kokutana na Sisera mpe alobaki na ye: — Yaka, nkolo na ngai; kimela epai na ngai, kobanga te. Sisera akotaki na ndako ya kapo ya Yaeli, mpe Yaeli azipaki ye bulangeti.
and Jael goes out to meet Sisera and says to him, “Turn aside, my lord, turn aside to me, do not fear”; and he turns aside to her, into the tent, and she covers him with a mantle.
19 Sisera alobaki na Yaeli: — Nabondeli yo, pesa ngai mayi mpo ete namela; nazali na posa ya mayi. Yaeli afungolaki mbeki etonda na miliki ya mayi, mpe amelisaki ye yango. Sima, azipaki ye lisusu bulangeti.
And he says to her, “Please give me a little water to drink, for I am thirsty”; and she opens the bottle of milk, and gives him to drink, and covers him.
20 Sisera alobaki na Yaeli: — Telema na ekuke ya ndako ya kapo. Soki moto ayei kotuna yo: « Moto azali awa? » Zongisa: « Te! »
And he says to her, “Stand at the opening of the tent, and it has been, if any comes in, and has asked you and said, Is there a man here? That you have said, There is not.”
21 Kasi wana Sisera alalaki pongi makasi mpo ete alembaki, Yaeli, mwasi ya Eberi, akamataki pike ya ndako ya kapo mpe azwaki marto; akotaki malembe pembeni na ye, abetaki ye pike na litoyi, mpe pike yango etobolaki moto na ye kino ekotaki na mabele; mpe Sisera akufaki.
And Jael wife of Heber takes the pin of the tent, and takes the hammer in her hand, and goes to him gently, and strikes the pin into his temples, and it fastens in the earth—and he has been fast asleep, and is weary—and he dies.
22 Wana Baraki azalaki nanu kolanda Sisera, Yaeli abimaki mpo na kokutana na ye. Alobaki na Baraki: « Yaka, nakolakisa yo moto oyo ozali koluka. » Baraki akotaki na ndako ya kapo ya Yaeli mpe amonaki Sisera ya kokufa, alala na mabele, mpe pike kati na litoyi na ye.
And behold, Barak is pursuing Sisera, and Jael comes out to meet him, and says to him, “Come, and I show you the man whom you are seeking”; and he comes to her, and behold, Sisera is fallen—dead, and the pin [is] in his temples.
23 Mokolo wana, Nzambe akitisaki liboso ya bana ya Isalaele, Yabini, mokonzi ya Kanana.
And God humbles Jabin king of Canaan before the sons of Israel on that day,
24 Bana ya Isalaele bakomaki makasi koleka Yabini, mokonzi ya Kanana, kino babomaki ye.
and the hand of the sons of Israel goes, going on and becoming hard on Jabin king of Canaan, until they have cut off Jabin king of Canaan.
