1 Bakonzi ya mabota ya bakitani ya Levi bayaki epai ya Nganga-Nzambe Eleazari, epai ya Jozue, mwana mobali ya Nuni, mpe epai ya bakonzi ya bituka ya mabota mosusu ya Isalaele,
And the leaders of the families of Levi approached Eleazar, the priest, and Joshua, the son of Nun, and the rulers of the extended families of each of the tribes of the sons of Israel.
2 na Silo, kati na mokili ya Kanana, mpo na koloba na bango: « Yawe apesaki mitindo na nzela ya Moyize ete bopesa biso bingumba ya kovanda elongo na mabele na yango mpo na bibwele na biso. »
And they spoke to them at Shiloh, in the land of Canaan, and they said, “The Lord instructed, by the hand of Moses, that cities should be given to us as habitations, with their suburbs to nourish our cattle.”

And so the sons of Israel gave cities and their suburbs from their possessions, in accord with the order of the Lord.
4 Zeke ya liboso ekweyaki epai ya etuka ya Keati. Bato ya Levi oyo bazalaki bakitani ya Nganga-Nzambe Aron bazwaki, na nzela ya zeke, bingumba zomi na misato kati na libota ya Yuda, ya Simeoni mpe ya Benjame.
And the lot went out for the family of Kohath, of the sons of Aaron, the priest, from the tribes of Judah and Simeon and Benjamin: thirteen cities.
5 Bakitani ya Keati oyo batikalaki bazwaki, na nzela ya zeke, bingumba zomi kati na mabele ya libota ya Efrayimi, ya Dani mpe ya ndambo ya libota ya Manase.
And to the remainder of the sons of Kohath, that is, to the Levites who were left over, there went, from the tribes of Ephraim and Dan, and from the one half tribe of Manasseh, ten cities.
6 Bakitani ya Gerishoni bazwaki, na nzela ya zeke, bingumba zomi na misato kati na mabele ya libota ya Isakari, ya Aseri, ya Nefitali mpe ya ndambo ya libota ya Manase, kati na Bashani.
And next the lot went out to the sons of Gershon, so that they would receive, from the tribes of Issachar and Asher and Naphtali, and from the one half tribe of Manasseh at Bashan: the number of thirteen cities.
7 Bakitani ya Merari, kolanda bituka na bango, bazwaki bingumba zomi na mibale kati na mabele ya libota ya Ribeni, ya Gadi mpe ya Zabuloni.
And to the sons of Merari, by their families, from the tribes of Reuben and Gad and Zebulun, there went twelve cities.
8 Boye, ndenge Yawe apesaki mitindo na nzela ya Moyize, bana ya Isalaele babetaki zeke mpo na kopesa bingumba wana elongo na mabele na yango epai ya bakitani ya Levi.
And so the sons of Israel gave cities and their suburbs to the Levites, just as the Lord instructed by the hand of Moses, distributing to each by lot.
9 Kati na mabota ya Yuda mpe ya Simeoni, babetaki zeke mpo na kopesa bingumba oyo, kolanda bakombo na yango,
From the tribes of the sons of Judah and Simeon, Joshua gave cities, whose names are these:
10 epai ya bakitani ya Aron, oyo babimelaki na bituka ya Keati kati na bana mibali ya Levi, pamba te zeke ya liboso ekweyaki epai na bango:
to the sons of Aaron, of the families of Kohath of the stock of Levi, (for the first lot went out for them, )
11 Bapesaki bango Kiriati-Ariba oyo ezali Ebron, elongo na mabele na yango, kati na mokili ya bangomba ya Yuda. (Ariba azalaki koko ya Anaki);
the city of Arba, the father of Anak, which is called Hebron, on the mountain of Judah, and its surrounding suburbs.
12 kasi bapesaki bilanga ya engumba mpe bamboka na yango ya mike-mike, lokola libula epai ya Kalebi, mwana mobali ya Yefune.
Yet truly, the fields and its villages he had given to Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, as a possession.

and Jattir, and Eshtemoa,

and Ain, and Juttah, and Beth-shemesh, with their suburbs: nine cities from two tribes, just as has been said.
17 Kati na libota ya Benjame, bapesaki bango bingumba oyo: Gabaoni, Geba,
Then, from the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, he gave Gibeon, and Geba,
18 Anatoti, Alimoni, elongo na mabele na yango; ezalaki bongo bingumba minei.
and Anathoth, and Almon, with their suburbs: four cities.
19 Bingumba nyonso ya Banganga-Nzambe, bakitani ya Aron, ezalaki zomi na misato elongo na mabele na yango.
All the cities together of the sons of Aaron, the priest, were thirteen, with their suburbs.
20 Babetaki zeke mpo na kopesa epai ya bakitani mosusu ya Levi, oyo bazali ya bituka ya Keati, moko kati na bana mibali ya Levi, bingumba oyo, kati na mabele ya libota ya Efrayimi.
Yet truly, the remainder of the families of the sons of Kohath, of the stock of Levi, were given this possession:
21 Kati na etuka ya bangomba ya Efrayimi, bapesaki bango: Sishemi lokola engumba ya kokimela mpo na moto oyo atangami mobomi, Gezeri,
from the tribe of Ephraim, Shechem, one of the cities of refuge, with its suburbs, on mount Ephraim, and Gezer,
22 Kibitsayimi mpe Beti-Oroni, elongo na mabele na yango; ezalaki bongo bingumba minei.
and Kibzaim, and Beth-horon, with their suburbs, four cities;
23 Kati na libota ya Dani, bapesaki bango bingumba oyo: Eliteke, Gibetoni,
and from the tribe of Dan, Elteke and Gibbethon,
24 Ayaloni, Gati-Rimoni, elongo na mabele na yango; ezalaki bongo bingumba minei.
and Aijalon and Gath-Rimmon, with their suburbs, four cities;
25 Kati na ndambo ya libota ya Manase, bapesaki bango bingumba oyo: Taanaki, Gati-Rimoni elongo na mabele na yango; ezalaki bongo bingumba mibale.
then, from the one half tribe of Manasseh, Taanach and Gath-Rimmon, with their suburbs, two cities.
26 Bingumba nyonso oyo bapesaki epai ya bituka mosusu ya bakitani ya Keati ezalaki zomi, elongo na mabele na yango.
All the cities were ten, with their suburbs; these were given to the sons of Kohath, of the lesser degree.
27 Epai ya bakitani ya Gerishoni kati na bituka ya bakitani ya Levi, bapesaki bingumba oyo: Kati na ndambo ya libota ya Manase: kati na Bashani, Golani lokola engumba ya kokimela mpo na moto oyo atangami mobomi, mpe Beyeshitira, elongo na mabele na yango; ezalaki bongo bingumba mibale.
Likewise, to the sons of Gershon, of the stock of Levi, from the one half tribe of Manasseh, went Golan in Bashan, one of the cities of refuge, and Bosra, with their suburbs, two cities;
28 Kati na libota ya Isakari: Kishioni, Dabirati,
also, from the tribe of Issachar, Kishion, and Daberath,
29 Yarimuti, Eyini-Ganimi, elongo na mabele na yango; ezalaki bongo bingumba minei.
and Jarmuth, and Engannim, with their suburbs, four cities;
30 Kati na libota ya Aseri: Misheali, Abidoni,
then, from the tribe of Asher, Mishal and Abdon,
31 Elikati, Reobi, elongo na mabele na yango; ezalaki bongo bingumba minei.
and Helkath and Rehob, with their suburbs, four cities;
32 Kati na libota ya Nefitali: Kedeshi, kati na mokili ya Galile, lokola engumba ya kokimela mpo na moto oyo atangami mobomi; Amoti-Dori mpe Karitani, elongo na mabele na yango; ezalaki bongo bingumba misato.
likewise, from the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee, one of the cities of refuge, and Hammoth-Dor, and Kartan, with their suburbs, three cities.
33 Bingumba nyonso oyo bapesaki epai ya bakitani ya Gerishoni, kolanda bituka na bango, ezalaki zomi na misato elongo na mabele na yango.
All the cities of the families of Gershon were thirteen, with their suburbs.
34 Epai ya bituka ya Merari, bakitani ya Levi oyo batikalaki, bapesaki bingumba oyo: Kati na libota ya Zabuloni: Yokineami, Karita,
Then, to the sons of Merari, Levites of the lesser degree, by their families, were given, from the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam and Kartah,
35 Dimina mpe Naalali, elongo na mabele na yango; ezalaki bongo bingumba minei.
and Dimnah and Nahalal, four cities with their suburbs;
36 Kati na libota ya Ribeni: Betseri lokola engumba ya kokimela mpo na moto oyo atangami mobomi, Yakatsi,
from the tribe of Reuben, beyond the Jordan, opposite Jericho, Bezer in the wilderness, one of the cities of refuge, Misor and Jazer, and Jethson and Mephaath, four cities with their suburbs;
37 Kedemoti mpe Mefati, elongo na mabele na yango; ezalaki bongo bingumba minei.
from the tribe of Gad, Ramoth of Gilead, one of the cities of refuge, and Mahanaim and Heshbon and Jazer, four cities with their suburbs.
38 Kati na libota ya Gadi: Ramoti, kati na Galadi, lokola engumba ya kokimela mpo na moto oyo atangami mobomi, Maanayimi,
39 Eshiboni mpe Yaezeri, elongo na mabele na yango; ezalaki bongo bingumba minei.
40 Bingumba nyonso oyo babetelaki zeke mpo na kopesa epai ya bakitani ya etuka ya Merari, bakitani ya Levi oyo batikalaki, ezalaki zomi na mibale.
All the cities of the sons of Merari, by their families and extended families, were twelve.
41 Bingumba nyonso ya bakitani ya Levi kati na mabele oyo epesamelaki bana ya Isalaele ezalaki tuku minei na mwambe, elongo na mabele na yango.
And so all the cities of the Levites, in the midst of the possession of the sons of Israel, were forty-eight,
42 Engumba moko na moko ezingelamaki na mabele na yango; ezalaki penza bongo mpo na bingumba yango nyonso.
with their suburbs, each distributed by families.
43 Boye, Yawe apesaki na Isalaele mokili nyonso oyo alakaki kopesa epai ya batata na bango na nzela ya ndayi. Bana ya Isalaele bazwaki yango mpe bakomaki kovanda kuna.
And the Lord God gave to Israel all the land that he had sworn he would deliver to their fathers. And they possessed it, and they lived in it.
44 Yawe apesaki bango kimia na bangambo nyonso, kolanda nyonso oyo alakaki batata na bango na nzela ya ndayi. Monguna moko te kati na banguna na bango alongaki lisusu kotelemela bango. Yawe akabaki banguna na bango nyonso na maboko na bango.
And he gave them peace with all the surrounding nations. And none of their enemies dared to stand against them; instead, they were brought under their sovereignty.
45 Kati na bilaka nyonso ya kitoko oyo Yawe apesaki na libota ya Isalaele, moko te etikalaki kokweya; solo, nyonso ekokisamaki.
Indeed, not so much as one word that he had promised to provide for them was left empty; instead, everything was fulfilled.
