1 Sima na bana ya Isalaele kozwa bokonzi likolo ya mokili, lisanga na bango mobimba esanganaki na Silo mpe batelemisaki kuna Ndako ya kapo ya Bokutani.
Then the whole assembly of the people of Israel met together at Shiloh. They set up the tent of meeting there and they conquered the land before them.
2 Kasi kati na bana ya Isalaele, ezalaki na mabota sambo oyo ezwaki nanu te libula na yango ya mabele.
There were still seven tribes among the people of Israel whose inheritance had not been assigned.
3 Jozue alobaki na bana ya Isalaele: « Kino tango nini bokozela mpo na kokende kozwa mokili oyo Yawe, Nzambe ya batata na bino, apesaki bino?
Joshua said to the people of Israel, “How long will you put off going into the land that Yahweh, the God of your ancestors, has given you?
4 Bopona bato misato kati na libota moko na moko. Nakotinda bango mpo ete bakende kotambola kati na mokili mpe kotia bandelo na yango kolanda libula ya libota na libota; bongo na sima nde bakoki kozonga epai na ngai.
Appoint for yourselves three men from each tribe, and I will send them out. They will set out and survey the land up and down. They will write out a description of it with a view to their inheritances, and then they will come back to me.

They will divide it into seven sections. Judah will remain in their territory on the south, and the house of Joseph will continue in their territory in the north.
6 Sima na bino kosala mabongisi ya kokabola mokili na biteni sambo, bomemela ngai yango awa, mpe ngai nakobeta zeke mpo na bino liboso ya Yawe, Nzambe na bino.
You will describe the land in seven sections and bring the description here to me. I will cast lots for you here before Yahweh our God.
7 Kasi bakitani ya Levi bakotikala kozwa eteni moko te ya mabele elongo na bino, pamba te mosala ya bonganga-Nzambe nde ekozala libula na bango. Bato ya libota ya Gadi, ya Ribeni mpe ya ndambo ya libota ya Manase, bazwaki eteni ya mabele oyo Moyize, mosali na Yawe, apesaki bango na ngambo ya este ya Yordani. »
The Levites have no portion among you, for the priesthood of Yahweh is their inheritance. Gad, Reuben, and the half tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance, beyond Jordan. This is the inheritance that Moses the servant of Yahweh gave them.”
8 Tango bato batelemaki mpo na kokende kosala mabongisi ya kokabola mokili, Jozue apesaki mitindo oyo: « Bokende kotambola kati na mokili, bokata bandelo na yango, mpe na sima, bozongela ngai awa na Silo, mpe ngai nakobeta zeke mpo na bino liboso ya Yawe. »
So the men got up and went. Joshua commanded those who went to write the description of the land, saying, “Go up and down in the land and write a description of it and return to me. I will cast lots for you here before Yahweh at Shiloh.”
9 Boye, bato oyo bakendeki, batambolaki kati na mokili, bakataki bandelo na yango mpe batiaki yango na mokanda, engumba na engumba, mpe bakabolaki mokili mobimba na biteni sambo; bongo na sima, bazongaki na Silo, na molako epai ya Jozue.
The men left and walked up and down in the land and wrote a description of it in a scroll by its cities in seven sections, listing the cities in each section. Then they returned to Joshua in the camp at Shiloh.
10 Jozue abetaki zeke mpo na bango liboso ya Yawe, na Silo, mpe kuna akabolaki mokili kati na bana ya Isalaele kolanda mabota na bango.
Then Joshua cast lots for them at Shiloh before Yahweh. It was there that Joshua assigned the land to the people of Israel, and to each was given his portion of the land.
11 Zeke ekweyaki epai ya libota ya bakitani ya Benjame kolanda bituka na bango. Eteni ya mabele oyo epesamelaki bango na zeke ezalaki na kati-kati ya mabele ya bakitani ya Yuda mpe ya Jozefi.
The assignment of land for the tribe of Benjamin clan by clan. The territory of their assigned land was located between the descendants of Judah and the descendants of Joseph.
12 Na ngambo ya nor, mondelo na bango ezalaki longwa na Yordani, emataki na mopanzi ya Jeriko, ekatisaki mokili ya bangomba, na ngambo ya weste, mpe esukaki na esobe, na Beti-Aveni.
On the north side, their border began at the Jordan. The border went up to the ridge north of Jericho, and then up through the hill country westward. There it reached the wilderness of Beth Aven.
13 Mondelo yango elekelaki wana mpe ekendeki kino na Luze, na mopanzi na yango ya ngambo ya sude, oyo ezali Beteli; ekendeki kotutana na Ataroti-Adari, na ngomba oyo ezalaki na ngambo ya sude ya Beti-Oroni, mokili ya se.
From there the border passed along south in the direction of Luz (the same place as Bethel). Then the border went down to Ataroth Addar, by the mountain that lies south of Beth Horon.
14 Longwa na ngomba moke oyo etalana na Beti-Oroni na ngambo ya sude, mondelo yango ebalukaki na ngambo ya weste, mpe esukaki na Kiriati-Bala, oyo ekoma Kiriati-Yearimi, engumba ya bakitani ya Yuda. Yango nde ezalaki mondelo na yango na ngambo ya weste.
The boundary then went in another direction: On the western side it turned toward the south, heading toward the mountain across from Beth Horon. This boundary ended at Kiriath Baal (that is, Kiriath Jearim), a city that belonged to the tribe of Judah. This formed the border on the western side.
15 Na ngambo ya sude, mondelo yango ebandaki longwa na Kiriati-Yearimi, na ngambo ya weste, mpe ekendeki kobima na etima ya mayi ya Nefitoa.
The south side began just outside of Kiriath Jearim. The border went from there to Ephron, to the spring of the waters of Nephtoah.
16 Ekitaki kino na ebandeli ya ngomba moke oyo etalana na Lubwaku ya Beni-Inomi, na ngambo ya nor ya etando ya bato ya Refayimi. Ekitaki na Lubwaku ya Inomi, na mopanzi ya ngambo ya sude ya engumba ya bato ya Yebusi kino na Eyini-Rogeli.
The boundary then went down to the border of the mountain which was opposite the Valley of Ben Hinnom, which was at the northern end of the Valley of Rephaim. It then went down to the Valley of Hinnom, south of the slope of the Jebusites, and continued down to En Rogel.

It turned northward, going in the direction of En Shemesh, and from there it went out to Geliloth, which was opposite the ascent of Adummim. Then it went down to the Stone of Bohan the son of Reuben.
18 Elekaki na mopanzi ya ngambo ya nor, liboso ya Beti-Araba, mpe ekitaki kino na etando ya Araba.
It passed on to the north of the shoulder of Beth Arabah and down to the Arabah.
19 Mondelo yango elekelaki na mopanzi ya Beti-Ogila, na ngambo ya nor, mpe esukaki na eteni ya mabele oyo ekota na mayi ya ebale monene ya Barozo, na ngambo ya nor, na suka ya ngambo ya sude ya Yordani. Yango nde ezalaki mondelo na yango na ngambo ya sude.
The border passed on to the north shoulder of Beth Hoglah. The border ended at the north bay of the Salt Sea, at the southern end of the Jordan. This was the boundary on the south.

The Jordan formed its border on the eastern side. This was the inheritance of the tribe of Benjamin, and it was given clan by clan, border after border, all around.

Now the cities of the tribe of Benjamin, clan by clan, had these cities: Jericho, Beth Hoglah, Emek Keziz,
22 Beti-Araba, Tsemarayimi, Beteli,
Beth Arabah, Zemaraim, Bethel,
24 Kefari-Amonayi, Ofini mpe Geba: bingumba nyonso ezalaki zomi na mibale, elongo na bamboka na yango ya mike-mike.
Kephar Ammoni, Ophni, and Geba. There were twelve cities, including their villages.
25 Gabaoni, Rama, Beyeroti,
There were also the cities of Gibeon, Ramah, Beeroth,
26 Mitsipe, Kefira, Motsa,
Mizpah, Kephirah, Mozah,
27 Rekemi, Yiripeyeli, Tareala,
Rekem, Irpeel, Taralah,
28 Tsela, Elefi, engumba ya Yebusi oyo ezali Yelusalemi, Gibea, Kiriati: bingumba nyonso ezalaki zomi na minei elongo na bamboka na yango ya mike-mike. Yango nde ezalaki libula ya mabele ya bakitani ya Benjame kolanda bituka na bango.
Zelah, Haeleph, Jebus (the same as Jerusalem), Gibeah, and Kiriath. There were fourteen cities, including their villages. This was the inheritance of Benjamin for their clans.
