< Yoane 2 >
1 Sima na mikolo mibale, ezalaki na feti moko ya libala na mboka Kana ya Galile. Mama ya Yesu azalaki na feti yango.
On the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
2 Babengisaki mpe Yesu elongo na bayekoli na Ye na feti yango.
and Jesus and His disciples were invited to the marriage.
3 Esalemaki ete tango vino esilaki, mama ya Yesu alobaki na Ye: — Bazali lisusu na vino te!
And they had no wine, because the wine of the marriage was exhausted. Then the mother of Jesus says to Him, There is no wine.
4 Kasi Yesu azongiselaki ye: — Mwasi, biso na yo likambo nini? Tango na Ngai ekoki nanu te.
And Jesus says to her, What is that to me and to thee? O woman, my hour is not yet come.
5 Mama na Ye alobaki na basali: — Bosala makambo nyonso oyo akoloba na bino.
His mother says to the servants, Do whatsoever He may say to you.
6 Ezalaki wana na bambeki motoba ya mabanga, oyo Bayuda bazalaki kosalela mpo na komipetola. Mbeki moko na moko ekokaki kokota balitele kobanda tuku mwambe kino nkama moko na tuku mibale.
And there were six waterpots of stone sitting there according to the purification of the Jews, containing about two or three firkins. Jesus says to them,
7 Bongo Yesu alobaki na basali: — Botondisa bambeki oyo na mayi. Batondisaki yango meke.
Fill the waterpots with water. They filled them to the brim.
8 Alobaki lisusu: — Sik’oyo, botoka mayi wuta na bambeki mpe bomema yango epai ya mokambi ya feti. Bamemaki yango epai na mokambi ya feti.
And He says to them, Now draw out and carry to the chief ruler of the feast,
9 Mokambi ya feti amekaki mayi oyo Yesu abongolaki vino. Ayebaki te soki basali bazwaki vino yango wapi; nzokande bango moko basali bayebaki, pamba te bango nde batokaki mayi. Mbala moko, mokambi ya feti abengaki mobali oyo abalaki
and they brought it to him. And when the ruler of the feast tasted the water, having been made wine, and did not know whence it is (but the servants having drawn the water knew), the ruler calls the groom,
10 mpe alobaki na ye: « Bato nyonso bapesaka nanu vino oyo eleki kitoko; bongo, sima na babengami komela mingi, nde bayaka na vino oyo ya kitoko penza te. Kasi yo, obombi na yo vino oyo eleki kitoko kino sik’oyo! »
and says to him, Every man first sets forth the good wine; and when they have drunk freely, the inferior: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.
11 Wana nde ezalaki likamwisi ya liboso, oyo Yesu asalaki: esalemaki na Kana ya Galile. Ezalaki moko kati na bikamwa oyo, na nzela na yango, amonisaki nkembo na Ye; mpe bayekoli na Ye bandimaki Ye.
Jesus did this, the beginning of miracles, in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed on Him.
12 Sima na yango, Yesu akendeki elongo na mama na Ye, bandeko na Ye mpe bayekoli na Ye, na Kapernawumi epai wapi basalaki kaka mwa mikolo.
After this He and His mother, and His brothers and His disciples went down into Capernaum, and abode there not many days.
13 Lokola mokolo oyo Bayuda basepelaka feti ya Pasika ekomaki pene, Yesu akendeki na Yelusalemi.
And the passover of the Jews were nigh, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14 Tango akotaki kati na lopango ya Tempelo, akutaki bato bazali koteka bangombe, bameme mpe bibenga; amonaki lisusu bato oyo babongolaka mbongo bavandi liboso ya bamesa na bango.
And He found in the temple those selling oxen and sheep and doves, and the money-changers sitting:
15 Boye, asalaki fimbu ya basinga mpe abenganaki bango nyonso, longwa na lopango ya Tempelo, elongo na bangombe mpe bameme na bango; abalolaki bamesa ya bato oyo bazalaki kobongola mbongo, mpe apanzaki mbongo na bango na mabele.
and having made a scourge of cords, He cast all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the money of the exchangers, and over-turned the tables.
16 Alobaki na bato oyo bazalaki koteka bibenga: « Bolongola biloko oyo awa! Ezali Ndako ya Tata na Ngai! Ebandi ndenge nini bokomisa yango zando? »
And He said to those selling doves; Take these things hence, make not the house of my Father a house of merchandise.
17 Bayekoli na Ye babandaki kokanisa makambo oyo ekomama: « Oh Nzambe, bolingo makasi oyo nazali na yango mpo na Ndako na Yo ekozikisa ngai lokola na moto! »
And His disciples remembered that it is written, The zeal of thy house doth eat me up.
18 Bayuda balobaki na Yesu: — Likamwisi nini okoki kolakisa biso mpo na kotalisa biso ete ozali na bokonzi ya kosala makambo oyo nyonso?
Then the Jews responded and said to Him, What sign do you show us, because you do these things?
19 Yesu azongisaki: — Bobuka Tempelo oyo, mpe Ngai nakotonga yango lisusu na mikolo misato.
Jesus responded and said to them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will rear it up.
20 Bayuda balobaki lisusu: — Boni, soki esalaki mibu tuku minei na motoba mpo na kotonga lisusu Tempelo oyo, yo okanisi ete okotelemisa yango na mikolo misato?
Then the Jews said, Forty and six years was this temple being built, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
21 Nzokande Tempelo oyo Yesu azalaki kolobela, ezalaki nde nzoto na Ye moko.
But He spoke concerning the temple of His body.
22 Sima, tango Yesu asekwaki, bayekoli na Ye basosolaki makambo oyo alobaki na bango. Boye bandimaki Makomi mpe maloba oyo Yesu alobaki.
Then when He arose from the dead, His disciples remembered that He said these things, and believed the Scripture and words which Jesus spoke.
23 Wana Yesu azalaki kati na Yelusalemi mpo na feti ya Pasika, bato mingi bandimelaki Kombo na Ye tango bazalaki komona bikamwa oyo azalaki kosala.
And when He was in Jerusalem at the feast, during the passover, many believed on His name, seeing His miracles which He was doing;
24 Kasi Yesu amipesaki te epai na bango, pamba te ayebaki bato nyonso.
and Jesus did not intrust Himself to them because He knows all men,
25 Azalaki ata na posa te ete bayebisa Ye makambo na tina na bato, pamba te ayebaki makambo nyonso oyo ezalaki kati na mitema na bango.
and because He had no need that any one should witness concerning man; because He was knowing what was in man.
