Yoane 17
1 Sima na Yesu koloba bongo, atombolaki miso na Ye na Likolo mpe abondelaki: Tata, tango ekoki; monisa nkembo ya Mwana na Yo mpo ete Mwana mpe amonisa nkembo na Yo;
When Jesus had ended this discourse, he said, lifting up his eyes to heaven, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee;
2 pamba te opesaki Ye bokonzi likolo ya bato nyonso, mpo ete apesa bomoi ya seko epai ya bato nyonso oyo opesaki Ye. (aiōnios g166)
as thou hast given him authority over all men, that he may bestow eternal life, on all those whom thou hast given him. (aiōnios g166)
3 Nzokande, bomoi ya seko ezali: koyeba Yo oyo ozali Nzambe moko kaka ya solo, mpe koyeba Yesu-Klisto oyo otindaki. (aiōnios g166)
Now this is the life eternal, to know thee the only true God, and Jesus, the Messiah, thy Apostle. (aiōnios g166)
4 Namonisi nkembo na Yo awa na mokili mpe nasilisi mosala oyo opesaki Ngai.
I have glorified thee upon the earth; I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
5 Sik’oyo Tata, pesa Ngai lisusu nkembo oyo nazalaki na yango kuna epai Yo ozali liboso ete okela mokili.
And now, Father, glorify thou me in thy own presence, with that glory which I enjoyed with thee, before the world was.
6 Namonisi nkembo na Yo epai ya bato oyo opesaki Ngai sima na Yo kolongola bango na misala ya mokili. Bazalaki bato na Yo, kasi opesaki Ngai bango; mpe batosi Liloba na Yo.
I have made known thy name to the men whom those hast given me of the world. They were thine; and thou hast given them to me; and they have kept thy word.
7 Bayebi malamu sik’oyo ete nyonso oyo opesaki Ngai ewutaki solo epai na Yo;
Whatsoever thou hast given me, they now know to have come from thee;
8 pamba te nateyaki bango maloba oyo opesaki Ngai, mpe bayambaki yango na esengo; bayebi ete nawutaki solo epai na Yo, mpe bandimi ete Yo nde otindaki Ngai.
and that thou hast imparted to me the doctrine, which I have imparted to them. They have received it, knowing for certain, that I came forth from thee, and am commissioned by thee.
9 Nazali kobondela nde mpo na bango; nazali kobondela te mpo na bato ya mokili, kasi mpo na bato oyo opesaki Ngai, mpo ete bazali bato na Yo.
It is for them that I pray. I pray not for the world, but for those whom thou hast given me; because they are thine.
10 Bato na Yo nyonso bazali bato na Ngai, mpe bato na Ngai nyonso bazali bato na Yo; mpe nkembo na Ngai ezali komonisama kati na bango.
And all mine are thine, and thine mine, and I am glorified in them.
11 Kala mingi te, nakozala lisusu te kati na mokili, pamba te nazali koya epai na Yo; kasi bango, bakokoba kozala kati na mokili. Tata na Ngai, Yo oyo ozali Mosantu, batela bango na nguya ya Kombo na Yo, Kombo oyo opesaki Ngai, mpo ete bazala moko ndenge Yo na Ngai tozali moko.
I continue no longer in the world; but these continue in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, preserve them in thy name, whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
12 Wana nazalaki elongo na bango, nabatelaki bango na nguya ya Kombo na Yo, Kombo oyo opesaki Ngai; nabatelaki bango malamu, mpe moko te kati na bango abungaki, longola kaka ye oyo asengeli na libebi mpo ete Makomi ekokisama.
While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name; those whom thou hast given me, I have preserved. None of them in lost, except the son of perdition, as the scripture foretold.
13 Sik’oyo, nazali koya epai na Yo; kasi nazali koloba makambo oyo tango nazali nanu kati na mokili mpo ete esengo na Ngai, oyo ezali ya kokoka, ezala kati na bango.
But now that I am coming to thee, I speak these things in the world, that their joy in me may be complete.
14 Nateyaki bango maloba oyo oyebisaki Ngai, mpe mokili eyinaki bango mpo ete bazali bato ya mokili te, ndenge Ngai mpe nazali ya mokili te.
I have delivered thy word to them, and the world hates them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 Nazali kosenga na Yo te ete olongola bango kati na mokili, kasi nde obatela bango liboso ya Satana.
I do not pray thee to remove them out of the world, but to preserve them from evil.
16 Bazali bato ya mokili te, ndenge Ngai mpe nazali ya mokili te.
Of the world they are not, as I am not of the world.
17 Bulisa bango na nzela ya bosolo na Yo, Liloba na Yo ya solo.
Consecrate them by the truth; thy word is the truth.
18 Ndenge otindaki Ngai kati na mokili, ndenge wana mpe Ngai nazali kotinda bango.
As thou hast made me thy Apostle to the world, I have made them my Apostles to the world.
19 Namibonzaki mobimba epai na Yo mpo na bango, mpo ete bango mpe babulisama na nzela ya bosolo.
And I consecrate myself for them, that they may be consecrated through the truth.
20 Nazali kobondela mpo na bango kaka te, kasi mpe mpo na bato oyo bakondima Ngai na nzela ya mateya na bango,
Nor do I pray for these alone, but for those also who shall believe on me through their teaching;
21 mpo ete bango nyonso bazala moko ndenge Yo Tata ozali kati na Ngai, mpe Ngai kati na Yo; ete bango mpe bazala moko kati na biso, mpe ete mokili endima ete ezali Yo nde otindaki Ngai.
that all may be one; that as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that thou hast sent me;
22 Nasaleli bango ngolu ya kobika nkembo na Yo ndenge kaka osalaki mpo na Ngai, mpo ete bazala moko ndenge biso mpe tozali moko:
and that thou gavest me the glory, which I have given them; that they may be one, as we are one;
23 Ngai kati na bango, mpe Yo kati na Ngai. Ezali kaka na nzela wana nde bakokoka kozala penza moko, mpo ete mokili eyeba penza ete Yo nde otindaki Ngai, mpe ete olingaka bango ndenge olingaka Ngai.
I in them, and thou in me, that their union may be perfected; that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and that thou lovest them, as thou lovest me.
24 Tata, nalingi ete bato oyo opesaki Ngai bazala elongo na Ngai kuna epai nazali kokende, mpo ete bamona nkembo na Ngai, nkembo oyo opesaki Ngai, pamba te olingaki Ngai liboso ete okela mokili.
Father, I would that where I shall be, those whom thou hast given me may be with me; that they may behold my glory, which thou gavest me, because thou lovedst me before the formation of the world.
25 Tata, Yo oyo ozali sembo, mokili eyebi Yo te; kasi Ngai nayebi Yo, mpe bato oyo bayebi ete Yo nde otindaki Ngai.
Righteous Father, though the world knows not thee, I know thee; and these know that I have thy commission.
26 Nalakisi bango nguya ya Kombo na Yo, mpe nakokoba kolakisa bango yango, mpo ete bolingo oyo ozali na yango mpo na Ngai ezala kati na bango, mpe Ngai nazala kati na bango.
And to them I have communicated, and will communicate thy name: that I being in them, they may share in the love with which thou lovest me.
