Yoane 15
1 Nazali nzete ya solo ya vino, mpe Tata na Ngai azali nkolo elanga.
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2 Tata na Ngai akataka etape nyonso oyo, kati na Ngai, ebotaka mbuma te; mpe abongisaka bitape nyonso oyo ebotaka bambuma, mpo ete ebota lisusu bambuma ebele koleka.
Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every [branch] that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
3 Bino mpe, bosili kokoma peto mpo na liloba oyo nateyaki bino.
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4 Bowumela kati na Ngai, mpe Ngai nakowumela kati na bino. Ndenge etape ekoki kobota bambuma te na ndenge na yango moko, soki ekangani te na nzete na yango ya vino, ndenge wana mpe bino, bokoki kobota bambuma te soki bokangani na Ngai te.
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 Nazali nzete ya vino; bino, bozali bitape. Moto oyo akowumela kati na Ngai, mpe Ngai kati na ye, akobotaka bambuma ebele, pamba te bokoki kosala eloko moko te, soki na lisungi na Ngai te.
I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6 Moto oyo akowumela te kati na Ngai akobwakama na libanda ya elanga, lokola bitape oyo bakati: ekokawuka, bakolokota yango, bakobwaka yango na moto mpe ekozika.
If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast [them] into the fire, and they are burned.
7 Soki bokowumela kati na Ngai, mpe maloba na Ngai ekowumela kati na bino, bosenga nyonso oyo bolingi, bokozwa yango.
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
8 Soki boboti bambuma ebele mpe botalisi, na nzela yango, ete bozali bayekoli na Ngai, Tata na Ngai azwa lokumu.
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
9 Ndenge Tata alingaki Ngai, Ngai mpe nalingaki bino; boye, bowumela kati na bolingo na Ngai.
As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10 Soki kaka bobateli mibeko na Ngai, bokowumela kati na bolingo na Ngai, ndenge Ngai nabatelaki mibeko ya Tata na Ngai mpe nawumelaka kati na bolingo na Ye.
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
11 Nalobi na bino makambo oyo nyonso mpo ete esengo na Ngai ezala kati na bino, mpe esengo na bino ezala ya kokoka.
These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and [that] your joy might be full.
12 Tala mobeko na Ngai: bolinganaka bino na bino ndenge Ngai nalingaki bino.
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Bolingo oyo eleki monene ezali: kokaba bomoi mpo na balingami.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14 Bozali baninga na Ngai soki bozali kosala makambo oyo nazali kotinda bino.
Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
15 Nazali kobenga bino lisusu te « bawumbu, » pamba te mowumbu ayebaka te makambo oyo nkolo na ye asalaka. Nzokande, nazali kobenga bino « baninga na Ngai, » pamba te nayebisi bino makambo nyonso oyo nayekolaki epai ya Tata na Ngai.
Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
16 Ezali bino te bato boponaki Ngai! Ngai nde naponaki bino mpe napesaki bino mosala mpo ete bokende, bobota bambuma, bambuma oyo ekowumela; mpe mpo ete Tata apesa bino nyonso oyo bokosenga Ye na Kombo na Ngai.
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
17 Tala mobeko na Ngai: bolinganaka bino na bino.
These things I command you, that ye love one another.
18 Solo, mokili ezali koyina bino; kasi boyeba ete eyinaki Ngai liboso na bino.
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before [it hated] you.
19 Soki kaka bozalaki ya mokili, mokili ekokaki kolinga bino lokola bato na yango penza. Nzokande, bozali ya mokili te, pamba te nasilaki kopona mpe kolongola bino na se ya bokonzi na yango mpo na kobulisa bino; yango wana mokili ezali koyina bino.
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
20 Bobosana te makambo oyo nayebisaki bino: « Mowumbu aleki nkolo na ye te, na bokonzi. » Lokola banyokolaki Ngai, bino mpe bakonyokola bino; soki babatelaki mateya na Ngai, bakobatela mpe mateya na bino.
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
21 Bakosala bino makambo wana nyonso likolo na Ngai, pamba te bayebi te Ye oyo atindaki Ngai.
But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.
22 Soki nayaki te mpe soki nalobaki na bango te, balingaki te komema ngambo ya lisumu; kasi sik’oyo, bakoki komilongisa te na tina na lisumu na bango.
If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.
23 Pamba te moto oyo ayini Ngai ayini mpe Tata na Ngai.
He that hateth me hateth my Father also.
24 Mpe soki nasalaki te, kati na bango, misala wana oyo moto ata moko te asalaki, balingaki te kozala na ngambo ya lisumu. Kasi sik’oyo, atako bamonaki misala yango, bazali kaka kokoba koyina biso: Ngai mpe Tata na Ngai.
If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
25 Kasi ezali mpo ete liloba oyo ekomama kati na mibeko na bango ekokisama: « Bayinaki Ngai kaka pamba. »
But [this cometh to pass], that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
26 Tango Molobeli akoya, oyo nakotindela bino kowuta epai ya Tata —Molimo ya bosolo, oyo akowuta epai ya Tata— akotatola Ye moko na tina na Ngai;
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
27 bongo bino mpe bokotatola na tina na Ngai, pamba te bozali elongo na Ngai wuta na ebandeli.
And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.
