< Yobo 37 >

1 Mpo na yango, motema na ngai ezali kolenga mpe ezali kobeta makasi lokola nde elingi kobima na esika na yango.
Indeed, my heart trembles at this; it is moved out of its place.
2 Yoka! Yoka makelele ya mongongo na Ye, makelele oyo ezali kobima na monoko na Ye.
Hear, oh, hear the noise of his voice, the sound that goes out from his mouth.
3 Azali kotinda yango na mokili mobimba, mpe kake na Ye kino na suka ya mokili.
He sends it out under the whole sky, and he sends out his lightning to the edges of the earth.
4 Sima na yango, konguluma na Ye ekoyokana, akoganga makasi na mongongo ya bokonzi na Ye; akokanga mikalikali ya monoko na Ye te, wana mongongo na Ye ezali koyokana.
A voice roars after it; he thunders with the voice of his majesty; he does not restrain the lightning bolts when his voice is heard.
5 Na nzela ya mongongo na Ye ya makasi, Nzambe asalaka bikamwa, asalaka makambo minene, makambo minene oyo mayele na biso ekoki kososola te.
God thunders marvelously with his voice; he does great things that we cannot comprehend.
6 Alobaka na mvula ya pembe: ‹ Sopana na mabele. › Alobaka bongo lisusu na mvula ya makasi: ‹ Sopana. ›
For he says to the snow, 'Fall on the earth'; likewise to the rain shower, 'Become a great shower of rain.'
7 Boye, atiaka kashe na loboko ya moto nyonso mpo ete moto nyonso ayeba misala na Ye. Atondisaka bato nyonso na somo ya nguya na Ye.
He stops the hand of every man from working, so that all people whom he has made may see his deeds.
8 Banyama ezongaka na bandako na yango mpe evandaka kati na libulu na yango.
Then the beasts go into hiding and stay in their dens.
9 Mopepe makasi ewutaka na ngambo ya sude, malili mpe mipepe, na ngambo ya nor.
The storm comes from its chamber in the south and the cold from the scattering winds in the north.
10 Na mopepe oyo ebimaka na monoko ya Nzambe, mayi ebongwanaka libanga mpe bitima ya mayi ekondaka.
By the breath of God ice is given; the expanse of the waters is frozen like metal.
11 Atondisaka mapata na mayi, mpe pole na Ye epanzaka mapata ya mvula.
Indeed, he weighs down the thick cloud with moisture; he scatters his lightning through the clouds.
12 Na makasi na Ye, mapata ebalukaka na bangambo nyonso mpo na kokokisa nyonso oyo Ye atindaka yango kosala kati na mokili.
He swirls the clouds around by his guidance, so that they may do whatever he commands them above the surface of the whole world.
13 Ezalaka mpo na kopesa etumbu na mokili to mpo na kopambola yango.
He makes all of this happen; sometimes it happens for correction, sometimes for his land, and sometimes as acts of covenant faithfulness.
14 Yoka, Yobo! Telema mpe sosola bikamwa ya Nzambe.
Listen to this, Job; stop and think about God's marvelous deeds.
15 Oyebi ndenge nini Nzambe akambaka mapata, mpe ndenge nini angengisaka mikalikali na Ye na mapata?
Do you know how God establishes the clouds and makes the lightning bolts to flash in them?
16 Oyebi ndenge nini mapata evandaka malamu? Ezali bikamwa ya Ye-Oyo-Akoka-Na-Boyebi-Nyonso.
Do you understand the floating of the clouds, the marvelous deeds of God, who is perfect in knowledge?
17 Bilamba na yo ezali na moto, nzokande mabele ezali konyokwama na mopepe ya midi.
Do you understand how your garments become hot when the land is still because the wind comes from the south?
18 Boni, okoki solo kosunga Nzambe mpo na kotanda likolo elongo na Ye, likolo oyo ezali makasi lokola talatala ya ebende banyangwisa na moto?
Can you spread out the sky as he can— the sky, which is as strong as a mirror of cast metal?
19 Yebisa biso makambo oyo tosengeli koloba na Ye; tokoki koloba likambo moko te mpo na molili na biso.
Teach us what we should say to him, for we cannot lay out our arguments in order because of the darkness of our minds.
20 Boni, basengeli koyebisa Ye ete nalingi koloba? Basengeli koyebisa Ye mpo ete ayeba yango?
Should he be told that I wish to speak with him? Would a person wish to be swallowed up?
21 Na pwasa, moto moko te azali komona lisusu pole; ebombami kati na mapata. Kasi soki mopepe eleki, elongoli yango nyonso.
Now, people cannot look at the sun when it is bright in the sky after the wind has passed through and has cleared it of its clouds.
22 Kongenga lokola wolo ezali koya wuta na ngambo ya nor. Nzambe avandi kati na nkembo ya somo.
Out of the north comes golden splendor— over God is fearsome majesty.
23 Azali Nkolo-Na-Nguya-Nyonso, tokoki te kokoma esika Ye azali; azali monene na nguya mpe na solo; azali Mokonzi ya sembo, akoki konyokola te moto oyo azali sembo.
As for the Almighty, we cannot find him! He is great in power; he does not oppress justice and abundant righteousness.
24 Yango wana bato basengeli kokumisa Ye, kasi Ye atiaka miso na Ye te likolo ya bato oyo bakanisaka ete bazali bato ya bwanya. »
Therefore, people fear him. He does not pay any attention to those who are wise in their own minds.”
