1 Eliwu abakisaki lisusu:
Elihu also proceeded, and said,
2 « Yokela ngai nanu moke, nalingi koteya yo, nazali na makambo mingi mosusu ya koloba na tina na Nzambe.
Suffer me a little, and I will show thee; For I have yet somewhat to say on God’s behalf.
3 Tala, nazali kozwa mosika boyebi na ngai mpo na kobundela mpe kolongisa Mokeli na ngai.
I will fetch my knowledge from afar, And will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.
4 Yeba malamu ete maloba na ngai ezali ya lokuta te, ezali moto na boyebi ya solo nde azali pene na yo.
For truly my words are not false: One that is perfect in knowledge is with thee.
5 Tala monene ya Nzambe! Kasi atiolaka na Ye bato te, nguya na Ye emonanaka na nzela ya mikano na Ye ya makasi. Azali na nguya, mpe mikano na Ye ebongwanaka te.
Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: He is mighty in strength of understanding.
6 Atikaka moto mabe te kozala na bomoi, alongisaka banyokolami,
He preserveth not the life of the wicked, But giveth to the afflicted [their] right.
7 alongolaka miso na Ye te likolo ya bayengebene, avandisaka bango na kiti ya bokonzi elongo na bakonzi mpe atombolaka bango mpo na libela.
He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: But with kings upon the throne He setteth them for ever, and they are exalted.
8 Kasi soki bato bakangami na minyololo to na basinga ya minyoko,
And if they be bound in fetters, And be taken in the cords of affliction;
9 atalisaka bango mabe oyo basali, mpe masumu oyo basalaka mpo na lolendo na bango.
Then he showeth them their work, And their transgressions, that they have behaved themselves proudly.
10 Afungolaka bango matoyi mpo na kokebisa bango mpe atindaka bango kotika mabe.
He openeth also their ear to instruction, And commandeth that they return from iniquity.
11 Soki batosi mpe basaleli Ye, bakolekisa mikolo na bango oyo etikali na bomengo, mpe mibu na bango na esengo.
If they hearken and serve [him], They shall spend their days in prosperity, And their years in pleasures.
12 Kasi soki batosi Ye te, bakokufa na mopanga mpe bakosila mpo na kozanga boyebi.
But if they hearken not, they shall perish by the sword, And they shall die without knowledge.
13 Bato oyo bayebi Nzambe te mpe mitema na bango etondisami na kanda, babelelaka Nzambe te tango akangaka bango minyololo.
But they that are godless in heart lay up anger: They cry not for help when he bindeth them.
14 Bakufaka na bolenge, basukisaka bomoi na bango kati na mibali oyo bamipesaka na kindumba ya bule.
They die in youth, And their life [perisheth] among the unclean.
15 Kasi bato oyo bazali konyokwama, akangolaka bango na nzela ya minyoko na bango, afungolaka bango matoyi na nzela ya pasi.
He delivereth the afflicted by their affliction, And openeth their ear in oppression.
16 Yo mpe, Nzambe alekisi yo na nzela ya nkaka mpe ya pasi mpo na kovandisa yo na esika ya pole, esika oyo ezangi mitungisi; akotondisa mesa na yo na biloko ya kitoko.
Yea, he would have allured thee out of distress Into a broad place, where there is no straitness; And that which is set on thy table would be full of fatness.
17 Kasi soki sik’oyo ozali kosala lokola moto mabe, etumbu mpe kosambisama ekokweyela yo.
But thou art full of the judgment of the wicked: Judgment and justice take hold [on thee].
18 Tika ete elakeli mabe oyo etelemeli yo etinda yo te na kotomboka! Boni, okoki kopesa kanyaka na bato ebele? Kasi kopengwa te!
For let not wrath stir thee up against chastisements; Neither let the greatness of the ransom turn thee aside.
19 Boni, bozwi na yo ezali solo na motuya mpo na kokangola yo? Ezala mabanga na yo ya wolo to makasi na yo nyonso, boni, ekokoka solo kokangola yo?
Will thy cry avail, [that thou be] not in distress, Or all the forces of [thy] strength?
20 Kozala na posa te ya butu oyo elongolaka bato kati na bandako na bango.
Desire not the night, When peoples are cut off in their place.
21 Mibatela ete okweya na mabe te, pamba te osepeli na mabe koleka minyoko.
Take heed, regard not iniquity: For this hast thou chosen rather than affliction.
22 Tala, Nzambe azali Mokonzi ya nguya na Ye, nani ateyaka koleka Ye?
Behold, God doeth loftily in his power: Who is a teacher like unto him?
23 Nani akengelaka etamboli na Ye? Nani akoki koloba na Ye: ‹ Ozali kosala mabe? ›
Who hath enjoined him his way? Or who can say, Thou hast wrought unrighteousness?
24 Kanisa kokumisa misala na Ye, misala oyo bato bazali kokumisa na banzembo.
Remember that thou magnify his work, Whereof men have sung.
25 Bato nyonso bamonaka yango, batalaka yango na mosika.
All men have looked thereon; Man beholdeth it afar off.
26 Tala ndenge nini Nzambe azali monene! Tososolaka yango te. Moto moko te akoki kotanga motango ya mibu na Ye.
Behold, God is great, and we know him not; The number of his years is unsearchable.
27 Abendaka mayi epai na Ye, na mapata; akomisaka yango mvula, mvula oyo enokaka mpe etondisaka bibale.
For he draweth up the drops of water, Which distil in rain from his vapor,
28 Mapata ekweyisaka yango, mpe enokisaka yango likolo na ebele ya bato.
Which the skies pour down And drop upon man abundantly.
29 Nani akoki kososola ndenge Nzambe apanzaka mapata mpe ndenge bakake ebimaka wuta na ndako na Ye?
Yea, can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, The thunderings of his pavilion?
30 Tala ndenge abetisaka bakake likolo ya bato mpe atondisaka mozindo ya ebale monene.
Behold, he spreadeth his light around him; And he covereth the bottom of the sea.
31 Na nzela ya biloko oyo nyonso, Nzambe asambisaka bikolo mpe apesaka bilei ebele.
For by these he judgeth the peoples; He giveth food in abundance.
32 Atondisaka maboko na Ye mibale na mikalikali, akotinda yango na esika oyo Ye aponi.
He covereth his hands with the lightning, And giveth it a charge that it strike the mark.
33 Makelele ya bakake epesaka sango ya koya na Ye, ata kutu bibwele esosolaka koya na Ye.
The noise thereof telleth concerning him, The cattle also concerning [the storm] that cometh up.
