1 Tala liloba oyo Yawe alobaki na mosakoli Jeremi na tina na Babiloni mpe bato na yango:
The word that the Lord hath spoken against Babylon, and against the land of the Chaldeans in the hand of Jeremias the prophet.
2 « Sakola mpe tatola yango kati na bikolo, telemisa bendele! Sala ete bato nyonso bayeba yango, kobomba likambo moko te! Loba: ‹ Bakobotola mokili ya Babiloni! Beli akoyokisama soni! Mariduki akobukana! Bililingi na ye ekosambwa, mpe banzambe na bango ya bikeko ekobukana. ›
Declare ye among the nations, and publish it, lift up a standard: proclaim, and conceal it not: say: Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is overthrown, their graven things are confounded, their idols are overthrown.
3 Ekolo moko ekowuta na nor mpe ekobundisa Babiloni, ekobebisa yango, bongo moto moko te akovanda lisusu kuna; ezala bato to banyama, nyonso ekokima.
For a nation is come up against her out of the north, which shall make her land desolate: and there shall be none to dwell therein, from man even to beast: yea they are removed, and gone away.
4 Na tango wana, na mikolo wana, » elobi Yawe, « bana ya Isalaele elongo na bato ya Yuda bakokende na kolela mpo na koluka Yawe, Nzambe na bango.
In those days, and at that time, saith the Lord, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Juda together: going and weeping they shall make haste, and shall seek the Lord their God.
5 Bakotuna nzela oyo ememaka kino na Siona mpe bakobalola bilongi na bango na ngomba yango; bakolobana bango na bango: ‹ Boya, tika ete tokangama na Yawe na nzela ya boyokani oyo ezali na suka te, boyokani oyo tokoki kobosana te! ›
They shall ask the way to Sion, their faces are hitherward. They shall come, and shall be joined to the Lord by an everlasting covenant, which shall never be forgotten.
6 Bato na Ngai bazalaki lokola bameme oyo ebungi nzela; babateli na bango babungisaki bango nzela, basalaki ete bayengayenga na bangomba, batambola-tambola na bangomba milayi mpe mikuse mpe babosana lopango na bango ya kopemela.
My people have been a lost flock, their shepherds have caused them to go astray, and have made them wander in the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their resting place.
7 Moto nyonso oyo azalaki komona bango azalaki koboma bango, banguna na bango bazalaki koloba: ‹ Tozali na biso na ngambo te, mpo ete basali masumu liboso ya Yawe oyo azali lokola lopango na bango ya bosembo; liboso ya Yawe, elikya ya batata na bango. ›
All that found them, have devoured them: and their enemies said: We have not sinned in so doing: because they have sinned against the Lord the beauty of justice, and against the Lord the hope of their fathers.
8 Bobima mbangu na Babiloni, botika mokili ya Babiloni! Bozala lokola bantaba ya mibali oyo ezali kotambola liboso ya etonga.
Remove out of the midst of Babylon, and go forth out of the land of the Chaldeans: and be ye as kids at the head of the flock.
9 Pamba te nakotelemisa mpe nakoyeisa lisanga ya bikolo ya nguya oyo ekowuta na mokili ya nor mpo na kobundisa Babiloni mpe kobotola yango wuta na nor; makonga na bango ekozala lokola makonga ya basoda ya mpiko, oyo bazangaka koboma te.
For behold I raise up, and will bring against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the land of the north: and they shall be prepared against her, and from thence she shall be taken: their arrows, like those of a mighty man, a destroyer, shall not return in vain.
10 Boye, bakobotola bomengo ya Babiloni mpe bato nyonso oyo bakobotola yango bakotonda, » elobi Yawe.
And Chaldea shall be made a prey: all that waste her shall be filled, saith the Lord.
11 « Mpo ete bozali kosepela mpe bozali na esengo, bino bato oyo bozali kobebisa libula na Ngai; mpo ete bozali kopumbwa-pumbwa lokola mwana ngombe ya mwasi oyo ezali konika ble mpe kolela lokola bampunda,
Because you rejoice, and speak great things, pillaging my inheritance: because you are spread abroad as calves upon the grass, and have bellowed as bulls.
12 mama na bino akoyoka soni makasi; ye oyo abotaki bino akosambwa. Ekozala ekolo ya suka kati na bikolo, ekozala zelo na zelo, mabele ya kokawuka mpe esobe.
Your mother is confounded exceedingly, and she that bore you is made even with the dust: behold she shall be the last among the nations, a wilderness unpassable, and dry.
13 Likolo ya kanda ya Yawe, bato bakovanda lisusu na Babiloni te mpo ete ekobebisama nye. Bato nyonso oyo bakoleka na Babiloni bakokamwa mpe bakozala na somo ya komona bapota na yango nyonso.
Because of the wrath of the Lord it shall not be inhabited, but shall be wholly desolate: every one that shall pass by Babylon, shall be astonished, and hiss at all her plagues.
14 Bino bato nyonso oyo bobundaka na matolotolo, bomitanda na molongo zingazinga ya Babiloni mpe bobeta yango makonga! Botika ata likonga moko te, pamba te Babiloni asali masumu liboso ya Yawe.
Prepare yourselves against Babylon round about, all you that bend the bow: fight against her, spare not arrows: because she hath sinned against the Lord.
15 Bobetela ye lokito ya bitumba na bangambo nyonso! Ayei komitika ye moko, mpo ete bandako na ye oyo batonga makasi ekweyi, bamir na ye ebukani: ezali na lolenge oyo nde Yawe azongiseli ye mabe na mabe. Bozongisela ye makambo oyo ye asalaki bikolo mosusu.
Shout against her, she hath every where given her hand, her foundations are fallen, her walls are thrown down, for it is the vengeance of the Lord. Take vengeance upon her: as she hath done, so do to her.
16 Boboma wuta na mokili ya Babiloni bato oyo basalaka bilanga mpe bato oyo basimbaka mbeli mpo na kobuka mbuma. Likolo ya mopanga ya monyokoli, tika ete moto na moto azonga na mokili na ye, tika ete moto na moto akima na mokili na ye.
Destroy the sower out of Babylon, and him that holdeth the sickle in the time of harvest: for fear of the sword of the dove every man shall return to his people, and every one shall flee to his own land.
17 Isalaele azali lokola meme oyo ebungi nzela, oyo nkosi ezalaki kolanda: Mokonzi ya Asiri azalaki moto ya liboso oyo apasolaki Isalaele; Nabukodonozori, Mokonzi ya Babiloni, azalaki moto ya suka oyo abukaki ye mikuwa.
Israel is a scattered flock, the lions have driven him away: first the king of Assyria devoured him: and last this Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon hath broken his bones.
18 Yango wana tala makambo oyo Yawe, Mokonzi ya mampinga, Nzambe ya Isalaele, alobi: ‹ Nakopesa mokonzi ya Babiloni mpe mokili na ye etumbu ndenge napesaki mokonzi ya Asiri.
Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts the God of Israel: Behold I will visit the king of Babylon and his land, as I have visited the king of Assyria.
19 Kasi nakozongisa Isalaele na lopango na ye; mpe akolia lisusu matiti ya ngomba Karimeli mpe ya Bashani. Nzala na ye ekosila na etuka ya bangomba ya Efrayimi mpe ya Galadi.
And I will bring Israel again to his habitation: and he shall feed on Carmel, and Bason, and his soul shall be satisfied in mount Ephraim, and Galaad.
20 Na tango wana, na mikolo wana, › elobi Yawe, ‹ bakoluka ngambo nini Isalaele amemi kasi bakomona yango te, masumu nini Yuda asali kasi bakomona yango te; pamba te nakolimbisa batikali oyo nabikisi.
In those days, and at that time, saith the Lord, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and there shall be none: and the sin of Juda, and there shall none be found: for I will be merciful to them, whom I shall leave.
21 Bobundisa mokili ya Meratayimi mpe bavandi ya Pekodi; bolanda bango, boboma mpe bobebisa bango nye, › elobi Yawe. ‹ Bosala makambo nyonso oyo natindi bino.
Go up against the land of the rulers, and punish the inhabitants thereof, waste, and destroy all behind them, saith the Lord: and do according to all that I have commanded thee.
22 Makelele ya bitumba ezali kati na mokili, lokito ya kobebisama monene!
A noise of war in the land, and a great destruction.
23 Ndenge nini marto oyo ezalaki kobeta mokili mobimba ebukani mpe epanzani? Ndenge nini penza Babiloni ebebisami kati na bikolo?
How is the hammer of the whole earth broken, and destroyed! how is Babylon turned into a desert among the nations!
24 Oh Babiloni, nasili kotiela yo motambo, mpe ekangi yo liboso ete oyeba yango. Omonanaki mpe okangamaki mpo ete otelemelaki Yawe.
I have caused thee to fall into a snare, and thou art taken, O Babylon, and thou wast not aware of it: thou art found and caught, because thou hast provoked the Lord.
25 Yawe afungolaki bibundeli na Ye nyonso mpe abimisaki kati na yango bibundeli ya kanda na Ye; pamba te yango nde mosala oyo Nkolo Yawe, Mokonzi ya mampinga, asili kosala na mokili ya bato ya Babiloni.
The Lord hath opened his armoury, and hath brought forth the weapons of his wrath: for the Lord the God of hosts hath a work to be done in the land of the Chaldeans.
26 Bobimela wuta na bisika nyonso mpo na kobundisa ye, bobuka bibombelo na ye, bokangisa bomengo ya bitumba ndenge bakangisaka maboke ya ble, bobebisa yango nyonso mpe botika ata eloko moko te.
Come ye against her from the uttermost borders: open that they may go forth that shall tread her down: take the stones out of the way, and make heaps, and destroy her: and let nothing of her be left.
27 Boboma bana ngombe mibali na ye nyonso; tika ete ekende na esika oyo babomelaka banyama! Mawa na bango mpo ete mokolo na bango ekoki, tango mpo na bango ya kozwa etumbu.
Destroy all her valiant men, let them go down to the slaughter: woe to them, for their day is come, the time of their visitation.
28 Boyoka! Tala bango bazali kokima mpe babiki wuta na mokili ya Babiloni mpo na koyebisa kati na Siona ndenge nini Yawe, Nzambe na biso, azongisi mabe na mabe; ndenge nini azongisi mabe na mabe likolo na Tempelo na Ye.
The voice of them that flee, and of them that have escaped out of the land of Babylon: to declare in Sion the revenge of the Lord our God, the revenge of his temple.
29 Bosangisa bato nyonso oyo babundaka na matolotolo mpo na kotelemela Babiloni; tika ete bato nyonso oyo babundaka na makonga bazingela Babiloni mobimba, basala ete ata moto moko te akima, bafuta yango ndenge ezalaki misala na yango mpe bazongisela yango makambo oyo esalaki bikolo mosusu; pamba te ebetaki tembe na Yawe, Mosantu ya Isalaele.
Declare to many against Babylon, to all that bend the bow: stand together against her round about, and let nose escape; pay her according to her work: according to all that she hath done, do ye to her: for she hath lifted up herself against the Lord, against the Holy One of Israel.
30 Yango wana, na mokolo wana, bilenge mibali na yango bakokweya na babalabala, basoda na yango nyonso ya mpiko bakokanga minoko, › elobi Yawe, Mokonzi ya mampinga.
Therefore shall her young men fall in her streets: and all her men of war shall hold their peace in that day, saith the Lord.
31 ‹ Tala, nazali na kanda na yo, yo mboka ya lolendo, › elobi Nkolo Yawe, Mokonzi ya mampinga; ‹ pamba te mokolo na yo ekoki, tango na yo ya kozwa etumbu.
Behold I come against thee, O proud one, saith the Lord the God of hosts: for thy day is come, the time of thy visitation.
32 Ekolo ya lolendo ekobeta libaku mpe ekokweya, mpe moto moko te akoya kosunga yango; nakopelisa moto kati na bingumba na yango, mpe moto yango ekozikisa bato nyonso oyo bazingeli yango. ›
And the proud one shall fall, he shall fall down, and there shall be none to lift him up: and I will kindle a fire in his cities, and it shall devour all round about him.
33 Tala liloba oyo Yawe, Mokonzi ya mampinga, alobi: ‹ Bazali konyokola bana ya Isalaele mpe bato ya Yuda; bato nyonso oyo bakangaki bango mpe bamemaki bango na bowumbu baboyi kotika bango.
Thus saith the Lord of hosts: The children of Israel, and the children of Juda are oppressed together: all that have taken them captives, hold them fast, they will not let them go.
34 Nzokande, Mosikoli na bango azali na makasi, Kombo na Ye: Yawe, Mokonzi ya mampinga; akokotela bango na molende mpo ete amema kimia na mokili na bango mpe mobulu epai ya bavandi ya Babiloni.
Their redeemer is strong, the Lord of hosts is his name: he will defend their cause in judgment, to terrify the land, and to disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.
35 Mopanga, boma bato ya Babiloni; boma bavandi ya Babiloni, boma bakambi mpe bato na yango ya bwanya, › elobi Yawe!
A sword is upon the Chaldeans, saith the Lord, and upon the inhabitants of Babylon, and upon her princes, and upon her wise men.
36 ‹ Mopanga, boma basakoli na yango ya lokuta; tika ete bakoma bato ya maboma! Mopanga, boma basoda na yango ya mpiko; tika ete bakoma na somo!
A sword upon her diviners, and they shall be foolish: a sword upon her valiant ones, and they shall be dismayed.
37 Mopanga, boma bampunda mpe bashar na yango, bapaya nyonso oyo bazali sima na yango mpo ete bakoma lokola basi! Mopanga, bebisa bomengo na yango mpo ete ekoma bomengo ya bitumba!
A sword upon their horses, and upon their chariots, and upon all the people that are in the midst of her: and they shall become as women: a sword upon her treasures, and they shall be made a spoil.
38 Bokawuki, kweyela mayi na yango mpo ete ekawuka; pamba te ezali mokili ya banzambe ya bikeko, bikeko oyo epesaka bato somo!
A drought upon her waters, and they shall be dried up: because it is a land of idols, and they glory in monstrous things.
39 Bikelamu ya esobe mpe bambwa ya zamba ekokoma kovanda kuna; maligbanga mpe ekokoma kovanda kuna. Bato bakovanda lisusu kuna te to moto moko te akotikala kuna mpo na libela.
Therefore shall dragons dwell there with the fig fauns: and ostriches shall dwell therein, and it shall be no more inhabited for ever, neither shall it be built up from generation to generation.
40 Ndenge Nzambe abebisaki Sodome mpe Gomore elongo na bingumba na yango ya zingazinga, › » elobi Yawe, « moto moko te akovanda lisusu kuna, moto moko te akowumela kati na yango.
As the Lord overthrew Sodom and Gomorrha, and their neighbour cities, saith the Lord: no man shall dwell there, neither shall the son of man inhabit it.
41 Tala, mampinga moko ya basoda ezali koya wuta na nor, ekolo moko monene mpe bakonzi ebele bazali komibongisa mpo na bitumba wuta na basuka ya mabele.
Behold a people cometh from the north, and a great nation, and many kings shall rise from the ends of the earth.
42 Basimbi matolotolo mpe makonga, bazali bato na kanza mpe bazanga mawa, bazali koganga lokola makelele ya ebale monene, bamati likolo ya bampunda, batandami na milongo lokola basoda mpo na kobundisa yo Babiloni, mboka kitoko!
They shall take the bow and the shield: they are cruel and unmerciful: their voice shall roar like the sea, and they shall ride upon horses: like a man prepared for battle against thee, O daughter of Babylon.
43 Tango mokonzi ya Babiloni ayokaki sango na tina bango, alembaki nzoto, somo makasi ekangaki ye mpe akomaki na pasi lokola mwasi oyo azali na pasi ya kobota.
The king of Babylon hath heard the report of them, and his hands are grown feeble: anguish hath taken hold of him, pangs as a, woman in labour.
44 Ndenge nkosi eyaka wuta na bazamba ya Yordani mpo na kokende na mapango epai wapi babokolaka bibwele, ndenge wana mpe nakobengana Babiloni na mokili na yango na mbala moko; Ngai moko nakopona moto oyo akokoma mokonzi ya Babiloni. Nani akokani na Ngai? Nani akoki kobeta tembe na Ngai? Mobateli bibwele nani akoki kotelema liboso na Ngai? »
Behold he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of the Jordan to the strong and beautiful: for I will make him run suddenly upon her: and who shall be the chosen one whom I may appoint over her? for who is like to me? and who shall bear up against me? and who is that shepherd that can withstand my countenance?
45 Yango wana, boyoka mabongisi oyo Yawe asili kosala mpo na Babiloni, mokano oyo asili kozwa mpo na kotelemela mokili ya bato ya Babiloni: Bakobengana bango na lopango lokola bana mike ya etonga, akobebisa etando na bango.
Therefore hear ye the counsel of the Lord, which he hath taken against Babylon: and his thoughts which he hath thought against the land of the Chaldeans: surely the little ones of the flocks shall pull them down, of a truth their habitation shall be destroyed with them.
46 Na lokito ya kokweya ya mokili ya Babiloni, mabele ekoningana; makelele na yango ekoyokana kino na bikolo mosusu.
At the noise of the taking of Babylon the earth is moved, and the cry is heard amongst the nations.
