Jeremi 11
1 Tala liloba oyo Yawe alobaki na nzela ya Jeremi:
The word that came unto Jeremiah from Yahweh saying:
2 — Boyoka malako ya boyokani oyo, mpe boyebisa yango epai ya bato ya Yuda mpe epai ya bavandi ya Yelusalemi!
Hear ye the words of this covenant, —and speak ye unto the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem,
3 Loba na bango: « Tala liloba oyo Yawe, Nzambe ya Isalaele, alobi: Tika ete alakelama mabe, moto oyo akotosa te malako ya boyokani
and say thou unto them, Thus, saith Yahweh God of Israel, —Accursed, is the man who will not hear the words of this covenant;
4 oyo nasalaki elongo na bakoko na bino tango nabimisaki bango na Ejipito, wuta na libulu ya moto oyo balambelaka bibende. » Nalobaki na bango: « Botosa Ngai mpe bosala makambo nyonso oyo nakotinda bino; ezali na nzela wana nde bokozala bato na Ngai mpe Ngai nakozala Nzambe na bino.
which I commanded your fathers—in the day when I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt out of the smelting-pot of iron—saying, Hearken unto my voice and do them, According to all that I may command you, —So shall ye become my people, And, I, will become, your God:
5 Bongo nakokokisa ndayi oyo nalapaki epai ya bakoko na bino ete nakopesa bango mokili oyo ebimisaka miliki mpe mafuta ya nzoyi, mokili oyo bozali na yango lelo. » Nazongisaki: — Solo, Yawe; amen!
That the oath may be established which I sware to your fathers, To give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as at this day. Then answered I and said, Amen, O Yahweh!
6 Yawe alobaki na ngai: — Sakola maloba nyonso oyo kati na bingumba ya Yuda mpe na babalabala ya Yelusalemi: « Boyoka malako ya boyokani oyo mpe bosalela yango!
And Yahweh said unto me, —Proclaim thou all, these words, throughout the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem saying, —Hear ye the words of this covenant, and do them,
7 Wuta tango nabimisaki bakoko na bino na Ejipito kino na mokolo ya lelo, nazalaki tango na tango kokebisa bango na maloba oyo: ‹ Botosa Ngai! ›
For I, solemnly took your fathers to witness, in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt—even until this day, betimes, taking them to witness saying, —Hearken ye unto my voice.
8 Kasi batiaki matoyi mangongi mpe bayokelaki Ngai te. Balandaki kaka makanisi mabe ya mitema na bango. Yango wana, natindelaki bango bilakeli mabe nyonso oyo ezali kati na boyokani oyo natindaki bango ete batosa, kasi bango basalelaki yango te. »
Howbeit they hearkened not neither inclined their ear, but walked severally in the stubbornness of their wicked heart, —so then I brought upon them all the words of this covenant which I commanded them to do, but they did them not.
9 Yawe alobaki na ngai: — Bato ya Yuda mpe bavandi ya Yelusalemi basali likita.
Yahweh therefore said unto me, —There is found a conspiracy, among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem:
10 Bazongeli kosala masumu ya bakoko na bango, oyo baboyaki koyoka maloba na Ngai. Bazali kolanda banzambe mosusu mpo na kosalela yango. Libota ya Yuda mpe libota ya Isalaele babebisi boyokani oyo nasalaki elongo na bakoko na bango.
They have turned back unto the iniquities of their first fathers who refused to hear my words, yea, they themselves, have walked after other gods to serve them, —the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I solemnised with their fathers.
11 Yango wana, tala liloba oyo Yawe alobi: « Nakotindela bango pasi ya makasi, mpe ata moto moko te akobika na yango. Ata soki bagangi epai na Ngai, nakoyoka bango te.
Therefore, Thus, saith Yahweh, Behold me! bringing upon them calamity, which they shall not be able to escape, —and though they make outcry unto me, yet will I not hearken unto them.
12 Bingumba ya Yuda mpe bato ya Yelusalemi bakokende koganga epai ya banzambe ya bikeko oyo bazali kotumbela malasi ya ansa, kasi ekokoka kobikisa bango te tango pasi ya makasi ekokomela bango.
Then shall the cities of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, go and make outcry unto the gods to whom they have been burning incense, —but they will not at all, save, them in the time of their calamity;
13 Oh Yuda, ozali na banzambe ebele ndenge ezali motango ya bingumba na yo; mpe lisusu, bitumbelo oyo otongaki mpo na kotumbela nzambe Bala, nzambe ya soni, malasi ya ansa ezali ebele ndenge ezali motango ya babalabala ya Yelusalemi. »
for according to the number of thy cities, have become thy gods O Judah, —and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem, have ye set up altars to the Shameful thing, altars for burning incense to Baal.
14 Kasi yo Jeremi, kosambela mpo na bato oyo te, kolobela Ngai na tina na bango te, komeka te kosengela bango eloko; pamba te nakoyoka bango te tango bakobelela Ngai na tango ya pasi.
Thou, therefore do not pray for this people, Neither lift thou up for them cry or prayer, —For I am not going to hear in the time that they cry unto me concerning their calamity.
15 « Eloko nini penza molingami na Ngai azali kosala kati na Tempelo na Ngai, wana azali kosala mabongisi mabe ebele? Okanisi ete ndayi mpe misuni oyo ebulisama ekoki solo kolongola etumbu na yo? Boni, okanisi ete okoki kobika na nzela wana? »
Why hath the beloved in mine own house, done an abomination? Shall, vows and holy flesh, take away from thee thy wickednesses, or shalt thou by these, escape?
16 Yawe azalaki kobenga yo « Nzete ya olive ya mobesu oyo etonda na mbuma kitoko. » Kasi Yawe akotumba yango na makelele ya mopepe makasi, mpe bitape na yango ekobukana-bukana.
A green olive-tree, fair with goodly fruit, did Yahweh call thy name, —with the noise of a great tumult, hath he kindled fire upon it, and the branches thereof shall be broken.
17 Yawe, Mokonzi ya mampinga, oyo alonaki yo asili kozwa mokano ya kotindela yo pasi ya makasi, pamba te libota ya Yuda mpe ya Isalaele basali mabe liboso na Ngai mpe batumboli kanda na Ngai tango bazali kotumbela nzambe Bala malasi ya ansa.
But, Yahweh of hosts, who planted thee hath pronounced against thee calamity, —on account of the wickedness of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah which they have wrought for themselves, provoking me to anger by burning incense to Baal.
18 Lokola Yawe alakisaki ngai likita oyo bazalaki kosalela ngai, nasosolaki yango, pamba te atalisaki ngai mabongisi nyonso oyo bazalaki kosala.
Now when Yahweh, let me know and I did know, then, didst thou shew me their doings.
19 Ngai namonanaki lokola mwana meme oyo bazali komema na esika oyo babomelaka bibwele; nayebaki te ete bazali kosalela ngai likita tango bazalaki koloba: « Tika ete tobebisa nzete mpe mbuma na yango, tika ete tolongola ye na mokili ya bato ya bomoi mpo ete bakanisa lisusu kombo na ye te. »
But, I, was as a gentle lamb that is to be led to the slaughter, —and I knew not that against me, they had devised devices [saying] —Let us destroy the tree with its fruit Yea let us cut him off out of the land of the living, And, his name, shall be remembered no more!
20 Kasi Yo, Yawe, Mokonzi ya mampinga, Yo oyo osambisaka na bosembo mpe omekaka mitema mpe makanisi, sala ete namona mabe oyo okozongisela bango, pamba te natiki likambo na ngai na maboko na yo.
But, O Yahweh of hosts Who judgest righteously, Who triest affections and intellect, —Let me see thine avenging upon them, For unto thee, have I revealed my cause.
21 Yango wana, tala liloba oyo Yawe alobi na tina na bato ya Anatoti, oyo balingi koboma yo mpe bazali koloba: « Kosakola na Kombo na Yawe te, soki te tokoboma yo; »
Therefore, Thus, saith Yahweh Concerning the men of Anathoth, who are seeking thy life, saying, —Thou shalt not prophesy in the name of Yahweh, So shalt thou not die by our hand:
22 yango wana tala liloba oyo Yawe, Mokonzi ya mampinga, alobi: « Nakopesa bango etumbu. Bilenge mibali na bango bakokufa na mopanga, bana na bango ya mibali mpe ya basi bakokufa na nzala makasi.
Therefore, Thus saith Yahweh of hosts, —Behold me! bringing punishment upon them, The young men, shall die by the sword, Their sons and their daughters, shall die by famine;
23 Ata moko te kati na bango akobika, pamba te nakotindela bato ya Anatoti pasi, na mobu ya etumbu na bango. »
And remnant, shall they have none, —For I will bring calamity against the men of Anathoth, in the year of their visitation.
