1 « Namimonisaki, Ngai moko, epai ya bato oyo bazalaki kotuna Ngai kutu toli te, namilakisaki epai ya bato oyo bazalaki koluka Ngai te. Epai ya ekolo oyo ezalaki kobelela Kombo na Ngai te, nalobaki: ‹ Ngai oyo, Ngai oyo! ›
I allowed myself to be sought by those that asked not; I let myself be found by those that sought me not: I said, Here am I, here am I, unto a nation that called itself not by my name.
2 Mikolo nyonso, natandaki maboko na Ngai epai ya bato ya mito makasi, oyo balandaka nzela ya mabe, oyo batambolaka kolanda makanisi na bango;
I spread out my hands all the time unto a rebellious people, that walk in the way which is not good, after their own thoughts;
3 bato oyo bapesaka Ngai kanda tango nyonso na nko, babonzaka mbeka kati na bilanga mpe babonzaka malasi ya ansa na bitumbelo basala na babiliki;
[To] the people that provoke me to anger to my face continually; that sacrifice in gardens and burn incense upon [altars of] brick,
4 bato oyo bavandaka kati na bakunda mpe balekisaka babutu na bango kati na madusu ya mabanga; bato oyo baliaka misuni ya ngulu mpe basani na bango etonda na bilei ya mbindo;
That sit about among the graves, and lodge in the vaults, that eat the flesh of the swine, and [have] broth of abominations [in] their vessels;
5 bato oyo balobaka: ‹ Zala mosika na Ngai, kopusana pene na Ngai te, pamba te nazali bule makasi na miso na yo! › Bato ya lolenge oyo bazali lokola milinga na zolo na Ngai, lokola moto oyo epelaka mikolo nyonso.
That say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the time.
6 Tala, etikali ya kokomama liboso na Ngai: nakovanda nye te kino nakozongisela bango mabe na bango; solo, nakozongisela bango penza mabe na bango koleka.
Behold, it is written before me; I will not keep silence, till I have recompensed, yea, recompensed into their bosom.—
7 Ezala mpo na masumu na bino to mpo na masumu ya batata na bino, » elobi Yawe, « pamba te babonzaki malasi ya ansa na likolo ya bangomba milayi mpe basambwisaki Ngai na likolo ya bangomba mikuse; solo penza, nakozongisela bango mabe, nakofuta bango kolanda misala na bango oyo eleka! »
Your iniquities and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the Lord, who have burnt incense upon the mountains, and upon the hills have blasphemed me: and I will measure out their work at first into their bosom.
8 Tala liloba oyo Yawe alobi: « Ndenge kaka balobaka soki bamoni liboke ya bambuma kitoko ya vino: ‹ Kobebisa te, pamba te lipamboli moko ezali wana, › ndenge mpe kaka nakosala mpo na basali na Ngai: nakoboma bango nyonso te.
Thus hath said the Lord, As the new wine is found in the cluster of grapes, and one saith, Destroy it not, for a blessing is in it; so will I do for the sake of my servants, that I will not destroy the whole;
9 Nakobimisa libota moko kati na Jakobi; mpe kati na Yuda, nakobimisa mokitani oyo akozwa bangomba na Ngai lokola libula; bato na Ngai, ba-oyo naponi bakokamata yango lokola libula, mpe bawumbu na Ngai nde bakovanda kuna.
And I let come forth out of Jacob a seed, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains; and my elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.
10 Etando ya Saroni ekokoma esika ya koleisa bibwele, mpe Lubwaku ya Akori ekokoma esika ya kopema mpo na bangombe. Nyonso wana ekosalema mpo na bato na Ngai, oyo balukaka Ngai.
And Sharon shall become a fold of flocks, and the valley of 'Achor a resting-place for herds, for my people that have sought me.
11 Kasi mpo na bino bato oyo bosundoli Yawe mpe bobosani ngomba na Ngai ya bule, bino oyo botandaka mesa mpo na Gadi mpe botondisaka kopo ya vino mpo na Meni,
But ye who forsake the Lord, who forget my holy mountain, that set out a table for the god of Fortune, and that fill for Destiny the drink-offering.—
12 nakobongisa bino ete bokufa na mopanga, mpe bino nyonso bokofukama mpo ete bakata bino bakingo, pamba te nabengaki, kasi boyanolaki te; nalobaki, kasi boyokaki te: bosalaki kaka makambo mabe na miso na Ngai mpe boponaki makambo oyo esepelisaka Ngai te. »
Yea, I will destine you to the sword, and all of you shall kneel down to the slaughter; because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spoke, ye did not hear; but ye did what is evil in my eyes, and that wherein I had no delight did ye choose.
13 Mpo na yango, Nkolo Yawe alobi: « Bawumbu na Ngai bakolia, kasi bino bokozala na nzala; bawumbu na Ngai bakomela, kasi bino bokotikala kaka na posa ya komela; bawumbu na Ngai bakosepela, kasi bino bokoyoka soni;
Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry; behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty; behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be made ashamed;
14 bawumbu na Ngai bakoyemba na esengo, esengo oyo ekowuta solo na mitema na bango, kasi bino bokoganga mpo na pasi ya mitema na bino mpe bokolelalela mpo na milimo na bino oyo ebukani.
Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry out from pain of heart, and from a broken spirit shall ye howl;
15 Bokotika kombo na bino epai ya baponami na Ngai lokola lisuma; Nkolo Yawe akoboma bino; kasi epai ya baponami na Ye, akopesa kombo mosusu.
And ye shall leave behind your name for an oath unto my elect ones, when the Lord Eternal will slay thee; but his servants will he call by another name.
16 Moto nyonso oyo akobelela lipamboli kati na mokili akosala bongo na Kombo ya Nzambe ya solo, mpe moto oyo akolapa ndayi kati na mokili, akolapa yango na Kombo ya Nzambe ya solo. Pamba te pasi ya kala ekomonana lisusu te, ekobombama na miso na Ngai.
Whoever there be that blesseth himself on the earth shall bless himself by the true God; and that sweareth on the earth shall swear by the true God; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hidden from my eyes.
17 Solo, nakokela likolo mpe mabele ya sika; makambo ya liboso, bakokanisa yango lisusu te, ekomata ata lisusu na motema te.
For, behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind;
18 Kasi bosepela mpe bozala tango nyonso na esengo mpo na misala oyo nakokela, pamba te nakokela Yelusalemi mpo ete ezala na esengo, mpe bato na yango basepela.
But be ye glad and rejoice unto all eternity in what I create; for, behold, I will create Jerusalem for rejoicing, and her people for gladness.
19 Bongo nakosepela mpo na Yelusalemi mpe mpo na bato na Ngai; makelele ya kolela mpe ya koganga ekoyokana lisusu kuna te.
And I will rejoice over Jerusalem, and be glad in my people: and there shall not be heard in her any more the voice of weeping, nor the voice of complaint.
20 Kuna, ekozala lisusu na mwana moke te oyo akokufa na bomwana na ye to ekozala lisusu na mobange te oyo akotonda te na mikolo ya bomoi na ye; pamba te moto oyo akokufa elenge akozala na mibu nkama moko ya mbotama, mpe oyo akokokisa mibu wana te, akomonana lokola moto alakelami mabe.
There shall no more come thence an infant of few days, nor an old man that shall not have the full length of his days; for as a lad shall one die a hundred years old; and as a sinner shall be accursed he who [dieth] at a hundred years old.
21 Bakotonga bandako mpe bakovanda kati na bandako yango, bakolona bilanga ya vino mpe bakolia bambuma na yango.
And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat their fruit.
22 Bakotonga bandako te mpo ete bato mosusu bavanda kati na bandako yango, mpe bakolona bilanga te mpo ete bato mosusu balia bambuma na yango; pamba te mikolo ya mbotama ya bato na Ngai ekozala lokola mikolo ya nzete, mpe baponami na Ngai bakosepela na bambuma ya misala ya maboko na bango.
They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat; for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and the work of their hands shall my elect wear out.
23 Bakosala mosala na pamba te to bakobota bana te mpo ete bakufa; pamba te bakozala bato oyo bapambolama na Yawe, bango elongo na bana na bango.
They shall not toil in vain, nor bring forth unto an early death; for the seed of the blessed of the Lord are they, and their offspring with them.
24 Liboso ete babelela Ngai, nakoyanola bango; mpe wana basilisi nanu koloba te, nakoyoka bango.
And it shall come to pass, that before yet they call will I answer; and while they are still speaking will I hear.
25 Mbwa ya zamba mpe mwana meme ekolia esika moko; mpe nkosi ekolia matiti lokola ngombe, kasi bilei ya nyoka ekozala nde putulu. Bakoyoka lisusu pasi te, mpe bakobebisama lisusu te na ngomba na Ngai ya bule, » elobi Yawe.
The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall like the bullock eat straw: and the serpent—dust shall be his food. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord.
