< Ezayi 58 >
1 « Ganga na mongongo makasi, kotika te! Matisa mongongo na yo lokola kelelo, yebisa bato na Ngai botomboki na bango, mpe lakisa libota ya Jakobi masumu na ye.
Give a roar from the throat! Don't hold back! Shout out like a trumpet! Announce to my people how rebellious they are; denounce to the descendants of Jacob their sins.
2 Pamba te mokolo na mokolo, balukaka Ngai, basalaka lokola bato bazali na esengo ya koyeba nzela na Ngai, lokola ekolo oyo esalaka makambo ya sembo mpe esundolaka te mibeko ya Nzambe na bango; basengaka Ngai mikano ya sembo, mpe basalaka lokola bato bazali na esengo ya kozala pene ya Nzambe;
Every day they come to me, pleased to know my ways as if they were a nation that does what is right and follow the laws of their God! They ask me to treat them right; they like to be close to their God.
3 balobaka: ‹ Mpo na nini tokila bilei, soki ozali komona na Yo yango te? Mpo na nini tomikitisa, soki ozali koyeba na yo yango te? › Nzokande, na mokolo na bino ya kokila bilei, bozali kosala makambo oyo bolingi mpe bozali konyokola basali na bino nyonso.
“Didn't you see that we fasted?” they ask. “Didn't you notice how we denied ourselves?” That's because whenever you fast you still do whatever you want, and you treat your workers badly.
4 Kokila bilei na bino ezali kosuka na koswana mpe na bitumba, bozali kobetana makofi na kanda nyonso; bozali kokila bilei te ndenge esengeli kozala na mokolo oyo bozali kozela ete mongongo na bino eyokana na likolo.
Can't you see that when you're fasting you quarrel and argue, and end up having a vicious fist-fight? When you fast like this you can't expect your prayers to be heard on high!
5 Boni, ezali penza kokila bilei oyo Ngai nalingaka, mokolo oyo moto amikitisaka penza ye moko? Boni, ezali kaka kogumba moto lokola nzete oyo ebotaka na mayi, kolata bilamba ya saki mpe kolala na putulu? Ezali yango nde bino bozali kobenga kokila bilei, mokolo oyo Yawe alingaka?
Is this the kind of fast I want when people act out their humility by bowing their heads down like a reed and by lying around in sackcloth and ashes? Is that what you call a fast, a day the Lord appreciates?
6 Tala lolenge ya kokila bilei oyo Ngai nalingaka: kokata minyololo ya masumu, kofungola basinga ya ekangiseli, kopesa bonsomi na mowumbu mpe kobuka ekangiseli nyonso.
No, this is the fast I want: set free those who have been unjustly imprisoned, untie the cords of the yoke used to burden people, set free those who are oppressed, and get rid of every form of abuse.
7 Boni, ezali te kokabola bilei na yo na moto oyo azali na nzala? Ezali te koyamba kati na ndako na yo, mobola oyo azali koyengayenga? Ezali te kolatisa moto oyo azali bolumbu mpe koboya kopesa mokongo na ndeko na yo?
Share your food with the hungry, take the poor and homeless into your house. When you see people naked, give them clothes, and don't reject your own relatives.
8 Bongo, pole na yo ekongenga lokola moyi ya tongo, mpe nzoto na yo ekokoma kolongono na lombangu; bosembo na yo ekotambola liboso na yo mpe nkembo na Yawe ekokengela yo na sima.
Then your light will shine out like the dawn, and you will be healed quickly; your salvation will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will go behind you.
9 Boye, tango okobelela Yawe, akoyanola yo; tango okosenga lisungi, akoloba: ‹ Ngai oyo. › Soki kati na yo, olongoli ekangiseli, otiki kolakisa bato mosapi mpe otiki maloba mabe;
Then when you call, the Lord will answer; when you cry out for help, the Lord will say, “I'm here.” If you get rid of oppression among you, if you stop pointing the finger and slandering others,
10 soki opesi bilei na yo epai na ye oyo azali na nzala mpe okokisi posa ya moto oyo bazali konyokola, pole na yo ekongenga kati na molili, mpe molili na yo ekokoma lokola moyi ya ngonga midi.
if you dedicate yourselves to helping the hungry and give the poor what they need, then your light will shine out in the darkness, and your night will be like the sun at noon.
11 Yawe akotambolisa yo tango nyonso, akokokisa baposa na yo kati na mokili ekawuka mpe akokembisa mikuwa na yo. Okozala lokola elanga oyo basopeli mayi, lokola liziba oyo mayi na yango ekawukaka te.
The Lord will always lead you; he will give you all you need in you in a desolate land; he will make you strong again. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring that never runs dry.
12 Mpo na yo, bakotonga lisusu bandako oyo ebukana-bukana na kala, bakomatisa lisusu miboko oyo ebukana wuta kala; bakobenga yo: ‹ Mobongisi ya bamir oyo ebukana mpe ya banzela oyo bato balekaka. ›
Some among you will rebuild the ancient ruins; you will restore generations-old foundations. You will be called the Repairer of the Break in the Wall, the Restorer of Life's Pathways.
13 Soki obateli matambe na yo ete ebebisa te lokumu ya mokolo ya Saba, mpe ete osala te mosala oyo yo olingi na mokolo na Ngai ya bule; soki mokolo ya Saba ekomi esengo na yo mpe opesi lokumu na mokolo ya bule ya Yawe; soki opesi yango lokumu na koboya kolanda nzela na yo moko, kosala misala na yo moko mpe kokoba na makambo oyo ezanga tina,
If you make sure you don't break the Sabbath by doing whatever you please on my holy day, if you say the Sabbath brings you pleasure and the Lord's day is to be honored, and if you honor it by leaving aside your own ways, by not doing whatever you please, and by avoiding everyday chatting,
14 wana okozwa esengo na yo kati na Yawe mpe nakomema yo na bisika ya likolo ya mokili, nakoleisa yo wuta na libula ya Jakobi, tata na yo, » elobi Yawe.
then you'll find the Lord is the one who truly makes you happy, and I will give you high positions on the earth and give you what I promised to Jacob, your forefather. I, the Lord, have spoken.
