< Ezayi 57 >

1 Moto ya sembo azali kokufa, kasi ezali kosala ata moto moko te motema pasi; bato ya malamu bazali kosila, mpe ata moto moko te azali kososola ete bato ya sembo bazali kolongolama mpo ete bazala mosika na mabe.
Good people die, and nobody cares; the faithful pass away, and nobody thinks that they were being protected from evil.
2 Bato oyo batambolaka na bosembo bakokota na kimia, bakozwa bopemi na bambeto na bango.
Those who follow what's right rest in peace; they find rest as they lie down in death.
3 « Kasi bino, boya awa, bino bana ya mwasi ya soloka, bino bana oyo bobotami na nzela ya ekobo mpe ya kindumba.
But as for you, children of fortune-tellers, the product of adultery and prostitution—come here!
4 Bozali koseka nani? Bozali kofungolela nani monoko? Bozali kotiela nani penza monoko? Boni, bozali bana ya batomboki te, bozali libota ya lokuta te?
Who are you making fun of when you make sneering faces and stick out your tongues? Aren't you the children of sin and lies?
5 Bozali kopela na posa mabe na se ya banzete minene oyo babengaka terebente, na se ya banzete nyonso ya mibesu; bozali kobonza bana na bino ya mibali lokola bambeka kati na lubwaku mpe kati na mabulu ya mabanga.
You're the ones having pagan orgies under the oak trees, under every green tree. You sacrifice your children in the valleys and among the rocky peaks.
6 Libula na yo ezali nde banzambe ya bikeko kati na mabanga ya lubwaku, oyo babongisa; solo, yango nde ezali libula na yo. Solo penza, ezali epai na yango nde ozali kosopa makabo ya masanga ya vino mpe kobonza makabo ya bambuma. Boni, nasepela solo na makambo ya boye?
You have chosen to worship the smooth stones from the streams of the valleys—that's the choice you've made! You have poured out drink offerings to these idols—you have presented them with grain offerings. Should that make me happy?
7 Otiaki mbeto na yo na likolo, na songe ya ngomba; kuna nde ozalaki komata mpo na kobonza mbeka.
You have committed adultery by idol worship on every high mountain; you went there to offer pagan sacrifices.
8 Otiaki nzambe na yo ya ekeko na sima ya ekuke na yo mpe ya mabaya oyo esimbaka ekuke yango. Osundoli ngai, olongoli bilamba na yo, omati likolo ya mbeto na yo; osali boyokani elongo na bato oyo olingaka kosangisa na bango nzoto mpe oluki komona bolumbu na bango.
You've placed your pagan signs behind your doors and on your doorposts. Deserting me, you took off your clothes and climbed into bed, committing yourselves to those you love to be in bed with. You've seen them naked.
9 Okendeki epai ya Moloki na mafuta ya olive mpe obakisaki lisusu malasi na yo. Otindaki bantoma na yo mosika, omikitisaki na se penza kino na mboka ya bakufi. (Sheol h7585)
You went to offer Molech olive oil, covering yourself with many perfumes. You sent your messengers to distant places; you even went down into the world of the dead. (Sheol h7585)
10 Nzela na yo nyonso elembisaki yo nzoto, kasi omilobelaki te: ‹ Ezali na tina te! › Loboko na yo ezwaki lisusu makasi ya sika, yango wana olembaki te.
You wore yourselves out by such running around, but you didn't give up and say, “It's hopeless!” You found new strength and so didn't become weak.
11 Ozalaki na somo ya nani to ozalaki kobanga nani mpo ete okosa Ngai to obosana Ngai, to mpe obimisa Ngai na motema na yo? Boni, ezali te mpo ete navandaki kimia tango molayi nde ozali kobanga Ngai te?
Who were you scared of, who frightened you so much that you lied to me, didn't remember me, didn't even think about me? Is it because I've been quiet for so long that you don't even fear me?
12 Nakobimisa bosembo mpe misala na yo na pwasa, mpe ekozala na litomba ata moko te mpo na yo.
I'm going to let everyone know about how you're so good and the things you do—but they won't help you!
13 Tika ete mopiku ya banzambe na yo ya bikeko ebikisa yo tango okoluka lisungi! Mopepe makasi ekomema yango nyonso, mopepe moko ekopikola yango. Kasi moto oyo akomisaka Ngai ebombamelo na ye akozwa lokola libula mokili mpe ngomba na Ngai ya bule. »
When you cry out for help, let's see if your collection of idols will save you! The wind will blow them all away, just a breath and they're gone! But whoever comes to me for help will own the land and possess my holy mountain.
14 Bakoloba: « Botondisa mabele, botondisa mabele, bobongisa nzela, bolongola mabaku na nzela ya bato na Ngai! »
He will say, Build a highway, remove anything that's in the way of my people.
15 Pamba te, tala liloba oyo Ye-Oyo-Aleki-Likolo, Ye oyo akowumela seko na seko mpe azali bule, alobi: « Navandaka na esika oyo eleki likolo mpe ya bule; kasi navandaka mpe elongo na moto oyo azali na pasi mpe oyo molimo na ye ebukani, mpo na kolendisa lisusu molimo oyo etutami mpe motema oyo ebukani.
This is what the one who is high above all says, he who lives in eternity, whose name is holy: I live in a high and holy place, together with those who repent and who act humbly, restoring their spirits and encouraging them.
16 Nakosambisa mpo na libela te mpe nakozala na kanda tango nyonso te, noki te molimo ya moto nyonso oyo nasala ekokufa na miso na Ngai.
I won't fight with you forever; I won't be angry with you forever. Otherwise you'd lose heart, the very people I gave life to.
17 Natombokaki likolo ya posa na ye ya kozwa bomengo na nzela ya moyibi; napesaki ye etumbu, nabombaki elongi na Ngai na kanda, kasi apengwaki kaka mpo na kolanda posa mabe ya motema na ye.
Yes, I was angry with these sinful, greedy people so I punished them. I was angry, so I hid myself from them, but they went on their own rebellious way, doing whatever they wanted.
18 Namonaki banzela na ye, kasi nakobikisa ye; nakotambolisa ye mpe nakobondisa ye.
I know what they're doing, but I will heal them. I will lead them and comfort those who mourn,
19 Nakotia masanzoli na bibebu ya bato oyo bazali kolela na Isalaele. Kimia, kimia ezala epai na ye oyo azali mosika, mpe epai na ye oyo azali pene, » elobi Yawe. « Mpe nakobikisa bango. »
so they will able to say thankyou. The Lord declares, Peace, peace, to those who are far away and those who are near. I will heal you.
20 Kasi bato mabe bazali lokola ebale oyo etomboki, oyo evandaka kimia te: mayi na yango ebwakaka potopoto mpe bosoto libanda.
But the wicked are like the sea that is tossed about, never keeping still, churning up the mud and muck with its waves.
21 Nzambe na ngai alobi: « Kimia ezali te mpo na bato mabe. »
There's no peace for the wicked, says my God.
