< Ezayi 53 >
1 Nani andimaki makambo oyo tosakolaki? Mpe epai ya nani loboko na Yawe emonisamaki?
Who would have believed our report? and the arm of the Lord—over whom hath it been revealed?
2 Pamba te akolaki liboso na Ye lokola nzete ya moke, lokola mosisa oyo ebimi na esobe; azalaki ata na kitoko to lokumu te oyo ekokaki kobenda miso na biso ete etala ye; lolenge na ye ezalaki ata na eloko moko te oyo ekokaki kosala ete tosepela na ye.
Yea, he grew up like a small shoot before him, and as a root out of a dry land: he had no form nor comeliness, so that we should look at him; and no countenance, so that we should desire him.
3 Bato batiolaki mpe basundolaki ye, ye moto na pasi, amesana konyokwama. Lokola moto oyo babwakeli soyi na elongi, atiolamaki, mpe tondimaki ye te.
He was despised and shunned by men; a man of pains, and acquainted with disease; and as one who hid his face from us was he despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Solo, amemaki mokumba ya bokono na biso mpe alataki pasi na biso kati na nzoto na ye; kasi biso, tokanisaki ete Nzambe nde abetaki ye, apesaki ye etumbu mpe asambwisaki ye.
But only our diseases did he bear himself, and our pains he carried: while we indeed esteemed him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 Nzokande, bazokisaki ye bapota mpo na botomboki na biso, banyokolaki ye mpo na masumu na biso; etumbu oyo ememelaki biso kimia ekweyaki na nzoto na ye; mpe na nzela ya bapota na ye, biso tobikisami na bokono na biso.
Yet he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement for our peace was upon him; and through his bruises was healing granted to us.
6 Biso nyonso, tozalaki koyengayenga lokola bana meme, moko na moko azalaki kolanda nzela na ye; bongo Yawe akweyisaki masumu na biso nyonso na nzoto na ye.
We all like sheep went astray; every one to his own way did we turn; and the Lord let befall him the guilt of us all.
7 Banyokolaki ye mpe bamonisaki ye pasi, kasi atikalaki kofungola monoko na ye te lokola mpate oyo bazali komema na esika oyo babomelaka banyama, lokola meme liboso ya bato oyo bazali kolongola yango bapwale; akangaki monoko na ye.
He was oppressed, and he was also taunted, yet he opened not his mouth; like the lamb which is led to the slaughter, and like an ewe before her shearers is dumb; and he opened not his mouth.
8 Babomaki ye na nzela ya minyoko mpe ya etumbu; kasi nani kati na bato ya tango na ye akokaki komitungisa na tina na ye? Pamba te balongolaki ye na mokili ya bato ya bomoi, babetaki ye likolo ya masumu ya bato na Ngai.
Through oppression and through judicial punishment was he taken away; but his generation—who could tell, that he was cut away out of the land of life, [that] for the transgressions of my people the plague was laid on him?
9 Bapesaki ye kunda kati na bato mabe, mpe kunda na ye ezalaki elongo na bazwi, atako asalaki likambo moko te ya mabe, mpe monoko na ye etikalaki koloba lokuta te.
And he let his grave be made with the wicked, and with the [godless] rich at his death; although he had done no violence, and there was no deceit in his mouth.
10 Nzokande, ezalaki mokano na Yawe ete anyokwama na nzela ya pasi. Atako Yawe akomisaki bomoi na ye mbeka mpo na masumu, akomona bakitani na ye mpe mikolo na ye ekobakisama; bongo mokano na Yawe ekolongisama na loboko na ye.
But the Lord was pleased to crush him through disease: when [now] his soul hath brought the trespass-offering, then shall he see [his] seed, live many days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.
11 Sima na pasi ya molimo na ye, akomona pole ya bomoi mpe posa na ye ekokokisama. Na nzela ya boyebi na ye, Mosali na Ngai ya sembo akolongisa bato ebele mpe akomema masumu na bango.
[Freed] from the trouble of his soul shall he see [the good] and be satisfied: through his knowledge shall my righteous servant bring the many to righteousness, while he will bear their iniquities.
12 Yango wana, nakopesa ye libula kati na bato minene, mpe akokabola bomengo ya bitumba elongo na bato ya makasi, pamba te akabaki bomoi na ye na kufa mpe amitikaki ete batanga ye na molongo ya babomi bato, pamba te amemaki masumu ya bato ebele mpe amikomisaki molobeli ya babuki mibeko.
Therefore will I divide him [a portion] with the many, and with the strong shall he divide the spoil; because he poured out his soul unto death, and with transgressors was he numbered: while he bore the sin of many, and for the transgressors he let [evil] befall him.
