Ezayi 48
1 Boyoka makambo oyo, oh ndako ya Jakobi, bino oyo bobengamaka na kombo ya Isalaele, bino oyo bobimi na libota ya Yuda, bino oyo bolapaka ndayi na Kombo na Yawe mpe bobelelaka Kombo ya Nzambe ya Isalaele, kasi na bosolo te mpe na bosembo te!
Hear ye this, O house of Jacob, Who are called by the name of Israel, And from the waters of Judah came out, Who are swearing by the name of Jehovah, And of the God of Israel make mention, Not in truth nor in righteousness.
2 Bino oyo bomibengaka « Bato ya engumba mosantu » mpe bolukaka lisungi epai ya Nzambe ya Isalaele, oyo Kombo na Ye ezali « Yawe, Mokonzi ya mampinga. »
For from the Holy City they have been called, And on the God of Israel been supported, Jehovah of Hosts [is] His name.
3 Nasakolaki makambo ya liboso wuta kala, monoko na ngai nde ebimisaki yango mpe nasalaki ete eyebana; nasalaki yango na pwasa mpe ekokisamaki.
The former things from that time I declared, And from my mouth they have gone forth, And I proclaim them, Suddenly I have done, and it cometh.
4 Pamba te nayebaki ndenge nini bozalaka bato ya mito makasi, bato oyo bazalaka na kingo lokola ebende mpe oyo mbunzu na bango ezalaka lokola bronze.
From my knowing that thou art obstinate, And a sinew of iron thy neck, And thy forehead brass,
5 Yango wana, nalobaki na yo makambo oyo wuta kala, nayebisaki yo yango liboso ete ekokisama mpo oloba te: « Nzambe na ngai ya ekeko nde asali yango, elilingi na ngai ya nzete mpe ya ebende nde apesaki mitindo ete esalema! »
And I declare to thee from that time, Before it cometh I have caused thee to hear, Lest thou say, 'Mine idol hath done them, And my graven image, And my molten image did command them.
6 Boyokaki makambo oyo! Botala, yango nyonso ekokisami. Boni, bokondima yango kaka te? Wuta sik’oyo, nakoyebisa yo makambo ya sika, makambo oyo ebombama, makambo oyo oyebi nanu te.
Thou hast heard, see the whole of it, And ye, do ye not declare? I have caused thee to hear new things from this time, And things reserved that ye knew not.
7 Ekelami nde sik’oyo, ezali makambo ya kala te, oyoka nanu yango te, liboso ya mokolo ya lelo. Boye, okoki koloba te: « Solo, nayoka sango na yango. »
Now they have been produced and not from that time, Yea, before the day, and thou hast not heard them, Lest thou say, 'Lo, I have known them.'
8 Solo, oyoka yango nanu te mpe oyebi yango te; wuta kala, litoyi na yo ezalaka ya kokangama. Solo, nayebi ete ozalaka mokosi; babengaka yo motomboki wuta na libumu ya mama na yo.
Yea, thou hast not heard, Yea, thou hast not known, Yea, from that time not opened hath thine ear, For I have known thou dealest treacherously, And 'Transgressor from the belly,' One is crying to thee.
9 Mpo na lokumu ya Kombo na Ngai, nakolembisa kanda ya motema na Ngai; mpo na lokumu na Ngai, nakozongisa motema na Ngai sima mpo na yo. Yango wana, nakoboma yo te.
For My name's sake I defer Mine anger, And My praise I restrain for thee, So as not to cut thee off.
10 Tala, napetolaki yo, kasi ndenge bapetolaka palata na moto te; namekaki yo kati na moto ya minyoko.
Lo, I have refined thee, and not with silver, I have chosen thee in a furnace of affliction.
11 Nasali yango kaka mpo na lokumu na Ngai, mpo na lokumu na Ngai moko. Ndenge nini nakoki solo komisambwisa Ngai moko? Nakokaba nkembo na Ngai na nzambe mosusu te.
For My sake, for Mine own sake, I do [it], For how is it polluted? And Mine honour to another I give not.
12 Yoka Ngai, oh Jakobi, Isalaele, yo oyo nabengaki! Ngai, nabongwanaka te; nazalaka na ebandeli mpe na suka.
Hearken to me, O Jacob, and Israel, My called one, I [am] He, I [am] first, and I [am] last;
13 Loboko na Ngai moko nde esalaki miboko ya mabele, mpe loboko na Ngai ya mobali nde etandaki likolo. Soki nabengi yango, yango nyonso etelemaka elongo.
Also, My hand hath founded earth, And My right hand stretched out the heavens, I am calling unto them, they stand together.
14 Bino nyonso, boya elongo mpe boyoka: Nzambe nini ya ekeko asakolaki makambo oyo? Moto oyo Yawe alingaka akokokisa mokano na Ye mpo na Babiloni, mpe loboko na ye ekotelemela bato ya Babiloni.
Be gathered all of you, and hear, Who among them did declare these things? Jehovah hath loved him, He doth His pleasure on Babylon, And His arm [is on] the Chaldeans.
15 Ezali Ngai, solo ezali Ngai nde nalobi mpe nabengi ye; nakoyeisa ye, mpe akolonga na makambo na ye.
I — I have spoken, yea, I have called him, I have brought him in, And he hath made prosperous his way.
16 Bopusana pene na Ngai mpe boyoka likambo oyo: « Wuta na ebandeli, nalobaka na nkuku te; wuta tango makambo oyo esalema, nazali wana. » Mpe sik’oyo, Nkolo Yawe atindi Ngai elongo na Molimo na Ye.
Come ye near unto me, hear this, Not from the beginning in secret spake I, From the time of its being, there [am] I, And now the Lord Jehovah hath sent me, and His Spirit.
17 Tala liloba oyo Yawe, Mosikoli na yo, Mosantu ya Isalaele, alobi: « Nazali Yawe, Nzambe na yo, oyo ateyaka yo makambo ya malamu mpo na bolamu na yo; oyo atambolisaka yo na nzela oyo osengeli kolanda.
Thus said Jehovah, thy redeemer, The Holy One of Israel, 'I [am] Jehovah thy God, teaching thee to profit, Causing thee to tread in the way thou goest.
18 Oh! Soki osalaki penza keba na mibeko na Ngai, kimia na yo elingaki kozala lokola ebale, mpe bosembo na yo, lokola mbonge ya ebale monene;
O that thou hadst attended to My commands, Then as a river is thy peace, And thy righteousness as billows of the sea,
19 bakitani na yo balingaki kozala lokola zelo, bana na yo, lokola motango ya mbuma ya zelo; kombo na bango elingaki kolongwa te to kobebisama te liboso na Ngai.
And as sand is thy seed, And the offspring of thy bowels as its gravel, Not cut off nor destroyed his name before Me.
20 Bobima na Babiloni, bokima wuta na bato ya Babiloni! Boloba yango na makelele ya esengo mpe botatola yango; bopanza sango na yango kino na suka ya mokili; boloba: ‹ Yawe asikoli Jakobi, mosali na Ye. › »
Go out from Babylon, flee from the Chaldeans, With a voice of singing declare, Cause ye this to be heard, Bring it forth unto the end of the earth, Say, Redeemed hath Jehovah His servant Jacob.
21 Bayokaki posa ya mayi te tango azalaki kotambolisa bango na esobe, abimisaki mayi na libanga mpo na bango, abukaki libanga mpe mayi ebimaki.
And they have not thirsted in waste places, He hath caused them to go on, Waters from a rock he hath caused to flow to them, Yea, he cleaveth a rock, and flow do waters.
22 Kasi Yawe alobaki: « Kimia ezali te mpo na bato mabe. »
There is no peace, said Jehovah, to the wicked!
