Ezayi 15
1 Maloba ya kosambisa mokili ya Moabi: Pamba te na butu oyo Moabi ebebisamaki, Ari kati na Moabi mpe ebebisamaki, solo, ebebisamaki kaka na butu moko! Kiri kati na Moabi mpe ebebisamaki; solo, ebebisamaki kaka na butu moko!
The doom of Moab. Truly in a night is 'Ar of Moab plundered, it is laid waste; truly in a night is Kir of Moab plundered, it is laid waste.
2 Bato ya Diboni bazali komata na bisika na bango ya bule, na bisambelo na bango ya likolo ya bangomba, mpo na kolela; Moabi akomi koganga mpo na Nebo mpe Medeba. Bakokoli mito nyonso mpe bakati mandefu nyonso.
It goeth up to the [idol-]house, and Dibon [goeth] up to the high-places to weep, on Nebo and on Medeba shall Moab wail: on all its heads there is baldness, and every beard is hewn off.
3 Balati-lati basaki na babalabala, bato nyonso bazali kolela na likolo ya mitondo ya bandako mpe na bisika oyo bato ebele bakutanaka; bazali penza kosopa mpinzoli ebele.
In its streets they are girded with sack-cloth, on its roofs, and in its public places every one shall wail, groan with weeping.
4 Eshiboni mpe Eleale ezali koganga makasi, mingongo ya bato na yango ezali koyokana kino na Yakatsi; yango wana, mampinga ya Moabi bazali mpe koganga mpe mitema na bango ebukani.
And loud crieth Cheshbon with El'aleh; as far as Yahaz is heard their voice: therefore the armed men of Moab shall howl; its soul is grieved for itself.
5 Nazali kolela na se ya motema mpo na Moabi, banguna na ye bazali kokima kino na Tsoari, kino na Egilati-Shelishiya; bazali komata na nzela ya Luyiti na kolela; mpe na nzela ya Oronayimi, bazali kosala matanga mpo na kobebisama na bango.
My heart will cry for Moab, whose fugitives are as far as Zo'ar, [and] the third 'Eglarth; for the ascent of Luchith—with weeping is it ascended; for on the way to Choronayim they let resound the cry of defeat [in battle].
6 Mayi ya Nimirimi ekawuki, bongo matiti mpe esili kokawuka, matiti ya mobesu eziki-ziki nyonso mpe matiti ya kitoko ezali lisusu te.
For the waters of Nimrim shall be desolate; for dry is the grass, gone are the herbs, and green things are no more.
7 Yango wana, bamemi bomengo oyo bazwaki mpe oyo babombaki na lubwaku ya banzete ya pepiliye.
Therefore the rest of their acquisitions and what they possess shall they carry away over the brook of the willows.
8 Kolela na bango etamboli na mokili mobimba ya Moabi; koganga na bango eyokanaki kino na Egilayimi, mpe kino na mabulu ya mayi ya Elimi.
For the cry hath encompassed the boundary of Moab; up to Eglayim [is heard] its wail, and at Beer-elim [is heard] its wail.
9 Mayi ya Dimoni etondi na makila, kasi nakotinda lisusu pasi makasi na Dimoni: nkosi moko ekobimela bato ya Moabi oyo bakobika.
For the waters of Dimon are filled with blood; for I will bring over Dimon armed bands; over the escaped of Moab [cometh] a lion, and over the remnant of the land.
