< Ezayi 13 >

1 Maloba ya kosambisa Babiloni, oyo Ezayi, mwana mobali ya Amotsi, azwaki na emoniseli:
The oracle on Babylon, —of which Isaiah, son of Amoz had vision: —
2 Botombola bendele likolo ya ngomba oyo ezanga banzete, boganga epai na bango; bopepa bango loboko mpo ete bakota na bikuke ya bakambi.
Upon a bare mountain, lift ye up a standard, Raise high the voice to them, Wave the hand, That they may enter the doors of nobles.
3 Napesaki mitindo epai na bato oyo babulisama mpo na Ngai; nabengisaki lisusu bilombe na Ngai, bato oyo basepelaka na lokumu na Ngai, mpo na kosilisa kanda na Ngai.
I myself, have given charge to my hallowed ones, —Yea I have called My heroes in showing mine anger, My proudly exulting ones.
4 Boyoka makelele likolo ya bangomba: ezali lokola makelele ya bato ebele! Boyoka lokito ya makelele ya bikolo: ezali lokola bikolo esangana esika moko! Yawe, Mokonzi ya mampinga, azali kotala mampinga ya basoda oyo bazali pene ya kokende na etumba.
The noise of a multitude in the mountains, A resemblance of many people, —The noise of a tumult of kingdoms Nations gathered together, Yahweh of hosts, mustering a host for battle!
5 Bawuti na mikili ya mosika, na suka ya likolo; Yawe elongo na bisalelo ya kanda na Ye; mpo na kobebisa mokili mobimba.
They are coming in From a land far away. From the utmost bound of the heavens, —Yahweh—with his weapons of indignation, To destroy the land.
6 Bolela, pamba te mokolo na Yawe ekomi pene, ekoya lokola kobebisama oyo ewuti na Nkolo-Na-Nguya-Nyonso.
Howl ye! for at hand is the day of Yahweh, —As a veritable destruction from the Almighty, shall it come.
7 Yango wana, maboko nyonso ekolemba mpe mitema ya bato nyonso ekobukana.
For this cause—All hands, shall hang down, —and Every mortal heart, melt.
8 Somo makasi ekokweyela bango, pasi mpe kobanga ekotika bango te; bakobunda-bunda lokola mwasi oyo azali na pasi ya kobota. Bango na bango bakotalana na kokamwa mpe bilongi na bango ekokoma lokola moto.
And they shall be in distress—Writhings and pains, shall lay hold, As a woman in childbirth, shall they be in pangs, —Everyone, at his neighbour, shall look in amazement, Faces of flames, their faces!
9 Tala, mokolo na Yawe ezali koya, ezali mokolo moko ya pasi, mokolo ya kotomboka mpe ya kanda makasi mpo na kobebisa mokili mpe koboma bato ya masumu kati na yango.
Lo! the day of Yahweh, coming in, Fierce and overflowing, and burning with anger, —To devote the earth to desolation, And her sinners, will he destroy out of it.
10 Minzoto na likolo mpe minda nyonso oyo ezali pene na yango ekopesa lisusu pole na yango te: moyi ekokoma molili tango tongo ekotana, mpe sanza ekopesa lisusu pole na yango te.
For the stars of the heavens and their constellations, shall not flash forth their light, —Obscured shall be the sun in his going forth, And the moon, shall not shed her light.
11 Nakopesa etumbu na mokili mpo na mabe na yango, mpe bato mabe, mpo na masumu na bango. Nakosukisa lofundu ya bato ya lolendo mpe nakokitisa lolendo ya banyokoli.
And I will visit, upon the inhabited earth, calamity!, And upon the lawless, their punishment, And will quiet the arrogance of the proud, And the loftiness of tyrants, will I lay low.
12 Nakosala ete bato bakoma ya koluka lokola wolo ya peto, lokola wolo ya mboka Ofiri.
I will cause, a man, to be more precious than fine gold, —Even a son of earth than, the finest gold of Ophir.
13 Yango wana nakolengisa likolo, mpe mabele ekoningana na bisimbelo na yango na kanda makasi ya Yawe, Mokonzi ya mampinga, na mokolo oyo akopelisa kanda na Ye.
For this cause, the heavens, will I disturb, And, the earth, shall tremble out of her place, —In the wrath of Yahweh of hosts, And in the day of the glow of his anger.
14 Lokola mboloko oyo bazali kolanda, lokola bameme oyo ezanga mobateli, moko na moko akozonga epai ya bato na ye, moko na moko akokima kino na mboka ya bakoko na ye.
And it shall be—Like a gazelle that is chased, And like a sheep with none to lift it up, —Each, to his own people, will they turn, And, each, to his own land, will they flee:
15 Bakotobola na likonga moto nyonso oyo bakokanga. Bato nyonso oyo bakozwa, bakokufa na mopanga.
Every one found, shall be thrust through, —And, every one taken, shall fall by the sword;
16 Bakokata-kata bana na bango na biteni na miso na bango, bakobebisa bandako na bango mpe bakozwa basi na bango na makasi.
And, their infants, shall be dashed to the ground, before their eyes, —Plundered shall be, their houses, and their wives ravished.
17 Tala, nakotelemisa bato ya Medi ete batelemela bango, bato oyo palata elobelaka bango eloko moko te mpe basepelaka na bango na wolo te.
Behold me! stirring up against them the Medes, —Who of silver, shall take no account, And as for gold, they shall not delight in it;
18 Boye, tolotolo na bango ekoboma bilenge mibali mpe bakoyokela mbuma ya libumu mawa te: liso na bango ekotala bana na mawa te.
And, bows, shall dash the young to pieces, —And on the fruit of the womb, will they have no pity, Over children, will their eye throw no shield.
19 Nzambe akokweyisa Babiloni, kongenga ya babokonzi, nkembo ya lolendo ya bato ya Chalide, ndenge akweyisaki Sodome mpe Gomore.
Thus shall Babylon—The most lovely of kingdoms, The majestic beauty of the Chaldees—Become as in the divine overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah.
20 Bato bakotikala kovanda lisusu kuna te to ekozala lisusu na bato te na milongo nyonso; kuna, moto ya Arabi akopika te ndako na ye ya kapo, mpe babateli bibwele bakopemisa te banyama na bango.
It shall not be dwelt in for ever, Neither shall it be inhabited from generation to generation, —Neither shall encamp there, an Arab, Nor, shepherds, fold their flocks there.
21 Kasi bikelamu ya esobe nde ekokoma kolala kuna; bambwa ya zamba nde ekotondisa bandako na yango, ba-esulungutu ekotonda na bandako, maligbanga ekokoma kovanda kuna mpe bantaba ya zamba ekokoma kopumbwa-pumbwa kuna.
Then shall lie down there, wild beasts, And filled shall be their houses with owls, —Then shall inhabit there, the ostrich, And shaggy creatures, shall dance there.
22 Banyawu ya zamba ekotonda na bandako na bango ya makasi, mpe bambwa ya zamba ekotonda na bandako na bango ya kitoko. Tango na yango esili kobelema, mpe mikolo na yango ekopusana lisusu te.
And jackals shall answer, in their citadels, And wild dogs, in their voluptuous palaces, —And near to come is her time, And, her days, shall not be delayed.
