< Oze 1 >

1 Tala liloba oyo Yawe alobaki na nzela ya Oze, mwana mobali ya Beri, tango Oziasi, Yotami, Akazi mpe Ezekiasi bazalaki bakonzi ya Yuda, mpe tango Jeroboami, mwana mobali ya Joasi, azalaki mokonzi ya Isalaele:
The Lord sent a message to Hosea son of Beeri at the time when Uzziah, Jotham, and Ahaz were the kings of Judah, and Jeroboam son of Jehoash was the king of Israel.
2 Tango Yawe abandaki koloba na nzela ya mosakoli Oze, Yawe ayebisaki ye: — Kende, linga mwasi oyo asalaka kindumba mpe bota na ye bana makangu, pamba te mokili emikotisi na kindumba mpe epesi Yawe mokongo.
The Lord began speaking through Hosea by telling him, “Go and take a wife who is a prostitute and have children born to a prostitute because those living in this land have committed terrible prostitution by turning away from the Lord.”
3 Boye, Oze akendeki kolinga Gomeri, mwana mwasi ya Dibilayimi. Gomeri akomaki na zemi mpe abotelaki ye mwana mobali.
So Hosea went and married Gomer, the daughter of Diblaim. She became pregnant and bore Hosea a son.
4 Yawe alobaki na ye: — Pesa ye kombo Jizireyeli, pamba te etikali moke napesa libota ya Jewu etumbu mpo na makila ya bato oyo asopaki na Jizireyeli, mpe nakosukisa bokonzi, na libota ya Isalaele.
The Lord told Hosea, “Call him Jezreel, because I am going to punish the house of Jehu for the blood he shed at Jezreel, and I will put an end to the kingdom of Israel.
5 Na mokolo wana, nakobuka tolotolo ya Isalaele kati na lubwaku ya Jizireyeli.
On that day I will break Israel's military power in the valley of Jezreel.”
6 Gomeri akomaki lisusu na zemi mpe abotaki mwana mwasi. Yawe alobaki na Oze: — Pesa ye kombo Lo-Rukama, pamba te nakotalisa lisusu bolingo na Ngai te epai ya libota ya Isalaele mpe nakolimbisa bango te.
Gomer became pregnant again and gave birth to a daughter. The Lord told Hosea, “Call her Lo-ruhamah, because I will no longer love the house of Israel and certainly not forgive them.
7 Kasi nakotalisa bolamu na Ngai epai ya libota ya Yuda mpe nakobikisa bango. Ngai moko Yawe, Nzambe na bango, nde nakosala bongo; ekozala na nguya ya tolotolo te, ya mopanga te, ya bitumba te, ya bampunda te to mpe ya bashar te.
But I will have pity on the house of Judah, and I will save them—but I will not save them by bow or sword or war or horses and riders.”
8 Tango Gomeri alongolaki Lo-Rukama na mabele, Gomeri akomaki lisusu na zemi mpe abotaki mwana mobali.
After Gomer had weaned Lo-ruhamah she became pregnant again and gave birth to a son.
9 Yawe alobaki: — Pesa ye kombo Lo-Ami, pamba te bozali bato na Ngai te, mpe Ngai nazali Nzambe na bino te.
The Lord told Hosea, “Call him Lo-ammi, because you are not my people and I am not your God.
10 Nzokande, bana ya Isalaele bakozala ebele lokola zelo ya ebale monene, oyo bakoki komeka to kotanga te; kaka na esika oyo balobaki na bango: « Bozali bato na ngai te, » bakokoma kobenga bango « bana na Nzambe na bomoi. »
Even so the number of the people of Israel will be like the sand on the seashore that cannot be measured or counted. Then right there at the place where they were told ‘you are not my people’ they will be called ‘the children of the living God.’
11 Bongo, bato ya Yuda mpe ya Isalaele bakozonga lisusu kozala ekolo moko, bakopona mokonzi moko kaka mpe bakobima na mokili ya bowumbu, pamba te mokolo ya Jizireyeli ekozala mokolo monene.
The people of Israel and the people of Judah will be gathered together and they will choose one leader for themselves and they will take possession of the land, and the day of Jezreel will be great.”
