Ba-Ebre 1
1 Na tango ya kala, Nzambe azalaki koloba, mbala mingi mpe na lolenge ebele, epai ya bakoko na biso, na nzela ya basakoli.
God, who in ancient days spoke to our ancestors in the prophets, at many different times and by various methods,
2 Kasi sik’oyo, na mikolo oyo ezali ya suka, Nzambe azali koloba na biso na nzela ya Mwana na Ye, oyo Ye moko Nzambe akomisaki Mokitani ya biloko nyonso. Ezali mpe na nzela na Ye nde Nzambe asalaki mokili. (aiōn g165)
has at the end of these days spoken to us in a Son whom he appointed heir of all things; through whom also he made the universe. (aiōn g165)
3 Mwana yango amonisaka kongenga ya nkembo ya Nzambe, azali elilingi oyo etalisaka mobimba ya Nzambe mpe asimbi biloko nyonso na nguya ya Liloba na Ye. Sima na Ye kopetola masumu ya bato, avandi kati na Likolo, na ngambo ya loboko ya mobali ya Nzambe-Na-Nguya-Nyonso,
He being an emanation of God’s glory and stamp of his substance, and upholding the universe by the utterances of his power, after by himself making purification of our sins, has taken his seat on the right hand of the Majesty on High.
4 mpe azwi esika ya lokumu penza koleka ba-anjelu mpo ete azwi Kombo oyo eleki bakombo ya ba-anjelu.
He is as much superior to the angels as the name that he has inherited surpasses theirs.
5 Epai ya anjelu nini penza Nzambe aloba: « Ozali mwana na ngai; na mokolo ya lelo, nakomi Tata na yo? » To mpe: « Ngai nakozala Tata mpo na ye, mpe ye akozala mwana mpo na Ngai? »
For to what angel did God ever say, Thou art my son; this day have I become thy Father? and again, I will be a father to him, and he shall be to me a son?
6 Mpe lisusu, tango Nzambe atindaki Mwana na Ye ya liboso kati na mokili, epai ya nani aloba: « Tika ete ba-anjelu nyonso ya Nzambe bagumbamelaka Yo? »
And further, when he brought the firstborn into the habitable world, he said, Let all the angels of God worship him.
7 Nzokande, tala makambo oyo Nzambe aloba na tina na ba-anjelu: « Akomisaka ba-anjelu na Ye mipepe, mpe basali na Ye, ndemo ya moto. »
While of the angels he said, He makes his angels into winds, His ministering servants into flames of fire.
8 Mpe tala makambo oyo aloba na tina na Mwana: « Oh Nzambe, Kiti ya Bokonzi na Yo ekowumela seko na seko, lingenda ya bokonzi na Yo ezali mpo na bosembo. (aiōn g165)
But to the Son he says. Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever, And the scepter of thy kingdom is the scepter of justice. (aiōn g165)
9 Olingaka bosembo mpe oyinaka mabe; yango wana, oh Nzambe, Nzambe na Yo apakoli Yo mafuta ya esengo, asepeli na Yo koleka baninga na Yo! »
Thou hast loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore did God, thy God, anoint thee with the oil of gladness beyond thy comrades.
10 Kaka na tina na mwana, alobaki lisusu: « Na ebandeli, oh Nkolo, Yo nde otiaki miboko ya mokili, mpe maboko na Yo nde esalaki Likolo.
And, Thou, O Lord, in the beginning didst lay the foundations of the earth, And the heavens are the work of thy hands.
11 Nyonso wana ekobeba, ekonzuluka lokola elamba; kasi Yo, okotikala seko na seko.
They will perish, but thou remainest; They all will grow old like a garment,
12 Okolinga yango lokola kazaka, mpe bakolongola yango lokola elamba mpo na kotia elamba mosusu. Kasi Yo, ozali ndenge moko, mibu na Yo ekotikala kosuka te! »
Like a mantle thou wilt fold them up, And like a garment they will be changed. But thou art the same, And thy years will never fail.
13 Mpe lisusu, epai ya anjelu nini Nzambe aloba: « Vanda na ngambo ya loboko na Ngai ya mobali kino nakomisa banguna na yo enyatelo makolo na yo? »
To which of the angels has he ever said, Sit at my right hand, Till I make thy foes a footstool for thy feet?
14 Nzokande, ba-anjelu nyonso bazali milimo oyo esalaka mpo na Nzambe, mpe Nzambe atindaka bango kokokisa lotomo na bango mpo na bolamu ya bato oyo bakozwa lobiko.
Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth for service in behalf of those who are about to inherit salvation?
