< Ba-Ebre 12 >
1 Yango wana, lokola batatoli ebele bazingeli biso, tobwaka mikumba mpe masumu nyonso oyo ezali kozingela biso na bangambo nyonso mpe topota mbangu, na molende nyonso, kati na momekano oyo ezali liboso na biso.
Therefore let us also, who have all these witnesses surrounding us like clouds, cast from us all encumbrances, and sin, which is always prepared for us; and let us run with patience the race that is appointed for us.
2 Tika ete miso na biso etalaka kaka Yesu oyo azali Mobandisi mpe Mokokisi ya kondima; pamba te, na esika ya esengo oyo ebongisama mpo na Ye, andimaki kokufa na ekulusu mpe koyoka soni makasi, mpe avandi sik’oyo na ngambo ya loboko ya mobali ya Kiti ya Bokonzi ya Nzambe.
And let us look on Jesus, who hath become the commencement and the completion of our faith; who, on account of the joy there was for him, endured the cross, and surrendered himself to opprobrium; and is seated on the right hand of the throne of God.
3 Bokundolaka mozindo ya Ye oyo akangaki motema liboso ya basumuki oyo bazalaki konyokola Ye, mpo ete bobungisa te molende mpe mpiko na bino.
Behold, therefore, how much he suffered from sinners, from them who are adversaries of their own soul, that ye may not be discouraged, nor your soul become remiss.
4 Na etumba na bino ya kotelemela masumu, nanu bobundi te kino kondima ata kokufa.
Ye have not yet come unto blood, in the contest against sin.
5 Mpe bobosani maloba nyonso ya malendisi oyo ayebisaki bino ndenge tata ayebisaka bana: « Mwana na Ngai, kozwa na pamba te etumbu ya Nkolo, mpe kobungisa mpiko na yo te soki apameli yo.
And ye have forgotten the monition, which saith to you, as to children, My son, disregard not the chastening of the Lord; nor let thy soul faint, when thou art rebuked by him.
6 Pamba te Nkolo apamelaka moto oyo Ye alingaka, apesaka etumbu na moto nyonso oyo Ye ayebaka lokola mwana na Ye. »
For, whom the Lord loveth, he chasteneth; and he scourgeth those sons, for whom he hath kind regards.
7 Bokangaka motema liboso ya bapasi oyo Nzambe apesaka bino lokola etumbu, pamba te azwaka bino lokola bana na Ye. Boni, ezali solo na mwana oyo tata na ye apesaka ye etumbu te?
Therefore endure ye the chastisement; because God is dealing with you as with sons. For what son is there, whom his father chasteneth not?
8 Soki bapesi bino etumbu te ndenge bana nyonso bazwaka, elingi koloba ete bozali bana bazanga tata, kasi bana ya ndako te.
But if ye are without that chastisement, with which every one is chastened, ye are become strangers and not sons.
9 Mpo ete biso nyonso tozalaki na batata ya mosuni, oyo bazalaki kopesa biso bitumbu, mpe tozalaki kaka kotosa bango, bongo mpo na nini te kotosa Tata ya milimo mpo ete tozwa bomoi?
And if our fathers of the flesh chastened us, and we revered them, how much more ought we to be submissive to our spiritual fathers, and live?
10 Batata na biso bazalaki kopesa biso bitumbu mpo na mwa tango moke, ndenge mitema na bango ezalaki kolinga; kasi Nzambe apesaka biso etumbu mpo na bolamu na biso, mpo ete tokoka kosangana na bosantu na Ye.
For they chastened us for a short time, according to their pleasure; but God, for our advantage, that we may become partakers of his holiness.
11 Moto moko te azalaka na esengo soki bapesi ye etumbu, pamba te epesaka mawa; kasi sima na tango, etumbu ebotaka lokola mbuma, epai ya moto oyo bapesi yango: bomoi ya bosembo mpe ya kimia.
Now all chastisement, in the time of it, is not accounted a matter of joy, but of grief: yet, afterwards, it yieldeth the fruits of peace and righteousness to them who are exercised by it.
12 Yango wana, bolendisa maboko na bino, oyo ebandi kolemba mpe bokembisa mabolongo na bino, oyo ekomi kolenga.
Wherefore, strengthen ye your relaxed hands, and your tottering knees:
13 Bosala banzela ya alima mpo na makolo na bino, mpo ete lokolo ya tengu-tengu elongwa te, kasi ebika nde.
and make straight paths for your feet, that the limb which is lame may not be wrenched, but may be healed.
14 Bolukaka kovanda na kimia elongo na bato nyonso mpe kotambola na bomoi ya bosantu, pamba te moko te akomona Nkolo soki azangi bosantu.
Follow after peace with every man; and after holiness, without which a man will not see our Lord.
15 Bosenzelaka ete moto moko te azanga ngolu ya Nzambe; bosenzelaka mpe ete mosisa moko te ya bololo ebotama mpo na kokotisa mobulu mpe kobebisa bomoi ya bato ebele kati na bino.
And be careful, lest any be found among you destitute of the grace of God; or lest some root of bitterness shoot forth germs, and trouble you; and thereby many be defiled:
16 Bosenzelaka ete moto moko te atambola na bomoi ya pite to atiola Nzambe lokola Ezawu oyo atekaki bokulutu na ye likolo ya biloko ya kolia.
or lest any one be found among you a fornicator; or a heedless one like Esau, who for one mess of food, sold his primogeniture.
17 Boyebi malamu ete, na sima, tango alingaki kokitana na lipamboli kowuta na tata na ye, azangelaki yango, pamba te alongaki te kobongola mokano ya tata na ye atako asengaki lipamboli yango na kolela.
For ye know that, afterwards when he wished to inherit the blessing, he was rejected; for he found not a place for repentance, although he sought it with tears.
18 Bino, bopusani te, lokola bana ya Isalaele, pene ya ngomba oyo bakokaki kosimba mpe ezali kopela moto, pene ya lipata, pene ya molili makasi, pene ya mopepe makasi,
For ye have not come to the fire that burned, and the tangible mount; nor to the darkness and obscurity and tempest;
19 pene ya lokito ya kelelo to mpe pene ya mongongo oyo ezali kobimisa maloba na lolenge ete bato oyo bayokaki maloba yango basengaki ete bayoka lisusu te ata liloba moko,
nor to the sound of the trumpet, and the voice of words, which they who heard, entreated that it might no more be spoken to them;
20 pamba te babangaki mitindo oyo epesamaki: « Moto nyonso oyo akosimba ngomba, ezala soki ezali nyama, bakoboma ye to yango na mabanga. »
for they could not endure what was commanded. And even a beast, if it approached the mountain, was to be stoned.
21 Mpo na somo makasi ya makambo oyo amonaki, Moyize agangaki: « Nazali kolenga na somo! »
And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I fear and tremble.
22 Kasi, bopusani nde pene ya ngomba Siona, pene ya Yelusalemi ya Likolo, engumba ya Nzambe na bomoi; pene ya bankoto na bankoto ya ba-anjelu oyo basangani mpo na kosepela,
But ye have come to Mount Zion, and to the city of the living God, the Jerusalem that is in heaven; and to the assemblies of myriads of angels;
23 pene ya lisanga ya bana liboso ya Nzambe, ba-oyo bakombo na bango ekomama kati na Likolo; pene ya Nzambe, Mosambisi ya bato nyonso; pene ya milimo ya bato ya sembo oyo Nzambe akomisaki bato ya kokoka;
and to the church of the first-born, who are enrolled in heaven and to God the judge of all; and to the spirits of the just, who are perfected;
24 pene ya Yesu, Moyokanisi ya Boyokani ya sika; mpe pene ya makila na Ye, oyo esopanaki mpe egangaka koleka makila ya Abele.
and to Jesus, the Mediator of the new covenant; and to the sprinkling, of his blood, which speaketh better than that of Abel.
25 Bosala penza keba ete boboya te koyoka Ye oyo alobaka! Pamba te soki bato wana bazangaki te kozwa etumbu tango baboyaki koyoka Ye oyo azalaki kokebisa bango awa na mokili, ekozala ndenge nini mpo na biso soki toboyi koyoka Ye oyo akebisaka biso wuta na Likolo?
Beware, therefore, lest ye refuse to hear him who speaketh with you. For if they escaped not, who refused to hear him who spake with them on the earth, how much more shall we not, if we refuse to hear him who speaketh with us from heaven?
26 Ye oyo mongongo na Ye eningisaki mokili na tango ya kala apesi lelo elaka oyo: « Na mbala oyo lisusu, nakoningisa kaka mabele te, kasi nakoningisa mpe Likolo. »
Whose voice then shook the earth; but now he hath promised, and said, yet again once more, I will shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
27 Maloba oyo « na mbala oyo lisusu » elakisi ete biloko oyo ekoki koningana elimwe mpo ete oyo eninganaka te etikala mpo na libela.
And this his expression, Once more, indicateth the mutation of the things that are shaken, because they are fabricated; that the things which will not be shaken, may remain.
28 Yango wana, lokola tozali kozwa Bokonzi oyo eninganaka te, tozongisaka matondi mpe tosalelaka Nzambe na lolenge oyo esepelisaka Ye: na botosi mpe na kobanga.
Since, therefore, we have received a kingdom that is unshaken, let us grasp the grace whereby we may serve and please God, with reverence and fear.
29 Pamba te Nzambe na biso azali moto oyo ezikisaka.
For our God is a consuming fire.
