< Abakuki 3 >
1 Libondeli ya Mosakoli Abakuki, na tina na lolenge ya banzembo ya mawa.
The prayer of Habakkuk the prophet:
2 Oh Yawe, nayokaki sango ya Kombo na Yo! Yawe, nabangaki misala na Yo. Sala yango lisusu na tango na biso! Sala ete eyebana lisusu na tango na biso! Kasi ata soki otomboki ndenge nini, kobosanaka te mawa na Yo mpo na biso.
Yahweh, I have heard your report, and I am afraid. Yahweh, revive your work in the midst of these times; in the midst of these times make it known; remember to have compassion in your wrath.
3 Nzambe abimelaki na engumba Temani, Mosantu abimelaki na ngomba Parani. Nkembo na Ye ezipaki likolo, mpe lokumu na Ye etondisaki mabele.
God came from Teman, and the Holy One from Mount Paran. (Selah) His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.
4 Azalaki kongenga lokola moyi, mpe pole makasi ezalaki kobimela na loboko na Ye, epai wapi nguya na Ye ebombamaka.
With brightness like the light, two-pronged rays flash from his hand; and there he hid his power.
5 Bokono oyo ebomaka ezalaki kotambola liboso na Ye, mpe pasi makasi ezalaki kolanda matambe na Ye na sima.
Deadly disease went before him, and the plague followed him.
6 Tango atelemaki, mabele ekomaki koningana makasi; tango abalolaki elongi na Ye mpo na kotala, bato ya bikolo bakomaki kolenga, bangomba milayi oyo ya kala-kala ebukanaki, mpe bangomba mikuse oyo ya kala-kala ekitaki; kasi banzela na Ye ewumelaka seko na seko.
He stood and measured the earth; he looked and shook the nations. Even the eternal mountains were shattered, and the everlasting hills bowed down. His path is everlasting.
7 Namonaki bandako ya kapo ya Kushani kati na pasi, mpe bandako ya mokili ya Madiani kati na mitungisi.
I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction, and the fabric of the tents in the land of Midian trembling.
8 Oh Yawe, otombokelaki nde bibale? Osopelaki nde miluka kanda na Yo? Osilikelaki nde ebale monene tango ozalaki kotambola likolo ya bampunda, likolo ya bashar na Yo ya lokumu?
Was Yahweh angry at the rivers? Was your wrath against the rivers, or your fury against the sea, when you rode upon your horses and your victorious chariots?
9 Obimisaki tolotolo na Yo na ebombelo na yango, maloba ya bandayi oyo olapaki ezalaki makonga na Yo. Ozindisaki mokili kati na bibale.
You have brought out your bow without a cover; you put arrows to your bow! (Selah) You divided the earth with rivers.
10 Soki bangomba emoni Yo, elengaka; mayi etiolaka makasi, ebale monene etombokaka mpe bambonge na yango emataka kino na likolo.
The mountains saw you and twisted in pain. Downpours of water passed over them; the deep sea raised a shout. It lifted up its waves.
11 Tango makonga ya mike etambolaka lokola mikalikali mpe makonga ebetaka lokola bakake, moyi mpe sanza etelemaka kuna na likolo.
The sun and moon stood still in their high places at the flash of your arrows as they fly, at the lightning of your flashing spear.
12 Na kanda, otambolaka na mabele; mpe na kanda makasi na Yo, onyataka bikolo.
You have marched over the earth with indignation. In wrath you have threshed the nations.
13 Obimaka mpo na kokangola bato na Yo mpe mpo na kobikisa mopakolami na Yo. Obomaki mokambi ya mokili ya bato mabe, osambwisaki ye kobanda na moto kino na makolo.
You went out for the salvation of your people, for the salvation of your anointed one. You shatter the head of the house of the wicked to lay bare from the base up to the neck. (Selah)
14 Otobolaki ye moto na nzela ya likonga na ye moko, tango basoda na ye bazalaki koya na elulu lokola mopepe mpo na kopanza biso. Bazalaki kosepela na elikya ete bakoboma biso na nkuku.
You have pierced the head of his warriors with his own arrows since they came like a storm to scatter us, their gloating was like one who devours the poor in a hiding place.
15 Otambolaka na ebale elongo na bampunda na Yo; boye oningisaka mayi minene.
You have traveled over the sea with your horses, and heaped up the great waters.
16 Tango nayokaki sango oyo, motema na ngai ekomaki kobeta makasi, bibebu na ngai ekomaki kolenga, mikuwa na ngai ekomaki kopola mpe makolo na ngai ekomaki kolenga. Kasi nakokanga motema na ngai mpo na kozela mokolo ya pasi oyo ekokomela ekolo oyo ebundisaki biso.
I heard, and my inner parts trembled! My lips quivered at the sound. Decay comes into my bones, and under myself I tremble as I wait quietly for the day of distress to come upon the people who invade us.
17 Nzokande, nzete ya figi ebimisi fololo te, nzete ya vino eboti mbuma te, nzete ya olive eboti mbuma te, bilanga ebimisi bilei te, bameme mpe bantaba ezali te kati na lopango, mpe bangombe ezali te kati na lopango.
Though the fig tree does not bud and there is no produce from the vines; and though the produce of the olive tree disappoints and the fields yield no food; and though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls, this is what I will do.
18 Kasi ngai nakosepela kati na Yawe mpe nakotondisama na esengo mingi kati na Nzambe, Mobikisi na ngai.
Still, I will rejoice in Yahweh. I will be joyful because of the God of my salvation.
19 Nkolo Yawe azali makasi na ngai: akomisaka makolo na ngai lokola makolo ya mboloko, apesaka ngai makasi ya komata kino na likolo ya bangomba.
The Lord Yahweh is my strength and he makes my feet like the deer's. He makes me go forward on my high places. —To the music director, on my stringed instruments.
