1 Tala libota ya Ezawu oyo azali Edomi.
Nowe these are the generations of Esau, which is Edom.
2 Ezawu abalaki basi na ye kati na bana basi ya Kanana: Ada, mwana mwasi ya Eloni, moto ya Iti; Olibama, mwana mwasi ya Ana mpe koko ya Tsibeoni, moto ya Evi;
Esau tooke his wiues of the daughters of Canaan: Adah the daughter of Elon an Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon an Hiuite,
3 mpe Basimati, mwana mwasi ya Isimaeli mpe ndeko mwasi ya Nebayoti.
And tooke Basemath Ishmaels daughter, sister of Nebaioth.
4 Ada abotelaki Ezawu Elifazi; mpe Basimati abotelaki ye Reweli.
And Adah bare vnto Esau, Eliphaz: and Basemath bare Reuel.
5 Olibama abotaki Yewushi, Yaelami mpe Kora. Bango nde bana mibali oyo babotelaki Ezawu na mokili ya Kanana.
Also Aholibamah bare Ieush, and Iaalam, and Korah: these are the sonnes of Esau which were borne to him in the land of Canaan.
6 Ezawu azwaki basi na ye, bana na ye ya mibali, bana na ye ya basi, bato nyonso ya ndako na ye mpe bibwele na ye, banyama na ye nyonso mpe biloko nyonso oyo azwaki na mokili ya Kanana, akendeki na mokili mosusu, mosika ya ndeko na ye Jakobi.
So Esau tooke his wiues and his sonnes, and his daughters, and all the soules of his house, and his flocks, and all his cattell, and all his substance, which he had gotten in the land of Canaan, and went into an other countrey from his brother Iaakob.
7 Bomengo na bango ekomaki mingi penza, mpe bakokaki lisusu te kovanda esika moko; pamba te mokili oyo bazalaki kovanda ekokaki bango lisusu te likolo ya motango ya bibwele na bango.
For their riches were so great, that they could not dwell together, and the lande, wherein they were strangers, coulde not receiue them because of their flockes.
8 Yango wana Ezawu, oyo azali Edomi, akendeki kovanda na ngomba Seiri.
Therefore dwelt Esau in mount Seir: this Esau is Edom.
9 Tala libota ya Ezawu, koko ya bato ya Edomi, na ngomba Seiri:
So these are the generations of Esau father of Edom in mount Seir.
10 Tala bakombo ya bana mibali ya Ezawu: Elifazi, mwana mobali ya Ada, mwasi ya Ezawu; mpe Reweli, mwana mobali ya Basimati, mwasi ya Ezawu.
These are the names of Esaus sonnes: Eliphaz, the sonne of Adah, the wife of Esau, and Reuel the sonne of Bashemath, the wife of Esau.
11 Bana mibali ya Elifazi: Temani, Omari, Tsefo, Gaetami mpe Kenazi.
And the sonnes of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.
12 Elifazi, mwana mobali ya Ezawu, azalaki na makangu oyo kombo na ye ezalaki « Timina; » Timina abotelaki ye Amaleki. Bango nde bakoko ya Ada, mwasi ya Ezawu.
And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esaus sonne, and bare vnto Eliphaz, Amalek: these be the sonnes of Adah Esaus wife.
13 Bana mibali ya Reweli: Naati, Zera, Shama mpe Miza. Bango nde bakoko ya Basimati, mwasi ya Ezawu.
And these are the sonnes of Reuel: Nahath, and Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah: these were the sonnes of Bashemath Esaus wife.
14 Tala bana mibali oyo Olibama, mwasi ya Ezawu, mwana mwasi ya Ana mpe koko ya Tsibeoni, abotelaki Ezawu: Yewushi, Yaelami mpe Kora.
And these were the sonnes of Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, daughter of Zibeon Esaus wife: for she bare vnto Esau, Ieush, and Iaalam, and Korah.
15 Tala bakonzi ya mabota ya bana mibali ya Ezawu: Bana ya Elifazi, mwana liboso ya Ezawu: mokonzi Temani, mokonzi Omari, mokonzi Tsefo, mokonzi Kenazi,
These were Dukes of the sonnes of Esau: the sonnes of Eliphaz, the first borne of Esau: Duke Teman, Duke Omar, Duke Zepho, Duke Kenaz,
16 mokonzi Kora, mokonzi Gaetami mpe mokonzi Amaleki. Bango nde bakonzi ya libota ya Elifazi, oyo babotamaki na Edomi; bazalaki bakoko ya Ada.
Duke Korah, Duke Gatam, Duke Amalek: these are the Dukes that came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom: these were the sonnes of Adah.
17 Bana mibali ya Reweli, mwana mobali ya Ezawu: mokonzi Naati, mokonzi Zera, mokonzi Shama mpe mokonzi Miza. Bango nde bakonzi ya libota ya Reweli, oyo babotamaki na Edomi; bazalaki bakoko ya Basimati, mwasi ya Ezawu.
And these are the sonnes of Reuel Esaus sonne: Duke Nahath, Duke Zerah, Duke Shammah, Duke Mizzah: these are the Dukes that came of Reuel in the land of Edom: these are the sonnes of Bashemath Esaus wife.
18 Bana mibali ya Olibama, mwasi ya Ezawu: mokonzi Yewushi, mokonzi Yaelami mpe mokonzi Kora. Bango nde bakonzi ya libota ya Olibama, mwana mwasi ya Ana mpe mwasi ya Ezawu.
Likewise these were the sonnes of Aholibamah Esaus wife: Duke Ieush, Duke Iaalam, Duke Korah: these Dukes came of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah Esaus wife.
19 Bango nde bazalaki bana mibali ya Ezawu oyo azali Edomi, mpe bango nde bazalaki bakonzi ya mabota ya Edomi.
These are the children of Esau, and these are the Dukes of them: This Esau is Edom.
20 Tala bakitani ya Seiri, moto ya Ori, bato ya liboso oyo bavandaki na mokili yango: Lotani, Shobali, Tsibeoni, Ana,
These are the sonnes of Seir the Horite, which inhabited the lande before, Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah.
21 Dishoni, Etseri mpe Dishani. Bango nde bakonzi ya libota ya Ori, mwana mobali ya Seiri, na mokili ya Edomi.
And Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan: these are the Dukes of the Horites, the sonnes of Seir in the land of Edom.
22 Bana mibali ya Lotani: Ori mpe Emami. Timina azalaki ndeko mwasi ya Lotani.
And the sonnes of Lotan were, Hori and Hemam, and Lotans sister was Timna.
23 Bana mibali ya Shobali: Alivani, Manaati, Ebali, Shefo mpe Onami.
And the sonnes of Shobal were these: Aluan, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.
24 Bana mibali ya Tsibeoni: Aya mpe Ana. Ezali Ana nde amonaki maziba ya mayi kati na esobe tango azalaki koleisa ba-ane ya Tsibeoni, tata na ye.
And these are the sonnes of Zibeon: Both Aiah, and Anah: this was Anah that founde mules in the wildernesse, as he fedde his father Zibeons asses.
25 Bana ya Ana: Dishoni, mwana na ye ya mobali; mpe Olibama, mwana na ye ya mwasi.
And the children of Anah were these: Dishon and Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah.
26 Bana mibali ya Dishoni: Emidani, Eshibani, Yitirani mpe Kerani.
Also these are the sonnes of Dishan: Hemdan, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
27 Tala bana mibali ya Etseri: Bilani, Zavani mpe Akani.
The sonnes of Ezer are these: Bilhan, and Zaauan, and Akan.
28 Bana mibali ya Dishani: Utsi mpe Arani.
The sonnes of Dishan are these: Vz, and Aran.
29 Tala bakonzi ya mabota ya Ori: mokonzi Lotani, mokonzi Shobali, mokonzi Tsibeoni, mokonzi Ana,
These are the Dukes of the Horites: Duke Lotan, Duke Shobal, Duke Zibeon, Duke Anah,
30 mokonzi Dishoni, mokonzi Etseri mpe mokonzi Dishani. Bango nde bazalaki bakonzi ya mabota ya Ori, na mokili ya Seiri.
Duke Dishon, Duke Ezer, Duke Dishan: these bee the Dukes of the Horites, after their Dukedomes in the land of Seir.
31 Tala bakonzi oyo bakonzaki kati na Edomi liboso ete bana ya Isalaele bazwa mokonzi:
And these are the Kings that reigned in the lande of Edom, before there reigned any King ouer the children of Israel.

Then Bela the sonne of Beor reigned in Edom, and the name of his citie was Dinhabah.

And when Bela dyed, Iobab the sonne of Zerah of Bozra reigned in his steade.
34 Tango Yobabi akufaki, Ushami, moto ya mokili ya Temani, akitanaki na ye na bokonzi.
When Iobab also was dead, Husham of the land of Temani reigned in his steade.
35 Tango Ushami akufaki, Adadi, mwana mobali ya Bedadi oyo alongaki Madiani na bilanga ya Moabi, akitanaki na ye na bokonzi. Kombo ya engumba na ye ezalaki Aviti.
And after the death of Husham, Hadad the sonne of Bedad, which slewe Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his steade, and the name of his citie was Auith.
36 Tango Adadi akufaki, Samila, moto ya engumba Masireka, akitanaki na ye na bokonzi.
When Hadad was dead, then Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his steade.
37 Tango Samila akufaki, Saulo, moto ya engumba Reoboti, engumba oyo etongama pembeni ya ebale, akitanaki na ye na bokonzi.
When Samlah was dead, Shaul of Rehoboth by the riuer, reigned in his steade.
38 Tango Saulo akufaki, Bala-Anani, mwana mobali ya Akibori, akitanaki na ye na bokonzi.
When Shaul dyed, Baal-hanan the sonne of Achbor reigned in his steade.
39 Tango Bala-Anani, mwana mobali ya Akibori, akufaki, Adari akitanaki na ye na bokonzi. Kombo ya engumba na ye ezalaki « Pawu, » mpe kombo ya mwasi na ye ezalaki « Meetabeli. » Meetabeli azalaki mwana mwasi ya Matiredi, mwana mwasi ya Mezaabi.
And after the death of Baal-hanan the sonne of Achbor, Hadad reigned in his stead, and the name of his citie was Pau: and his wiues name Mehetabel the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.

Then these are the names of the Dukes of Esau according to their families, their places and by their names: Duke Timna, Duke Aluah, Duke Ietheth,
41 Olibama, Ela, Pinoni,
Duke Aholibamah, Duke Elah, Duke Pinon,
42 Kenazi, Temani, Mibitsari,
Duke Kenaz, Duke Teman, Duke Mibzar,
43 Magidieli mpe Irami. Bango nde bazalaki bakonzi ya Edomi kolanda bituka na bango, kati na mokili oyo bazalaki kovanda. Ezawu azalaki koko ya bato ya Edomi.
Duke Magdiel, Duke Iram: these bee the Dukes of Edom, according to their habitations, in the lande of their inheritance. This Esau is the father of Edom.
