1 Tala bato ya etuka ya Yuda, oyo Nabukodonozori, mokonzi ya Babiloni, amemaki na bowumbu na mokili ya Babiloni, mpe, wuta na bowumbu, bazongaki na Yelusalemi mpe na Yuda, moto na moto kati na engumba na ye.

Now these are the children of the province that went up out of the captivity, of those which had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away unto Babylon, and came again unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city;

2 Bazongaki nzela moko na Zorobabeli, Jozue, Neyemi, Seraya, Reyelaya, Maridoshe, Bilishani, Misipari, Bigivayi, Rewumi, Baana. Tala motango ya bana ya Isalaele:

Which came with Zerubbabel: Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:

3 Bakitani ya Pareoshi: nkoto mibale na nkama moko na tuku sambo na mibale.

The children of Parosh, two thousand an hundred seventy and two.

4 Bakitani ya Shefatia: nkama misato na tuku sambo na mibale.

The children of Shephatiah, three hundred seventy and two.

5 Bakitani ya Ara: nkama sambo na tuku sambo na mitano.

The children of Arah, seven hundred seventy and five.

6 Bakitani ya Paati-Moabi na nzela ya Jozue mpe Joabi: nkoto mibale na nkama mwambe na zomi na mibale.

The children of Pahath–moab, of the children of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand eight hundred and twelve.

7 Bakitani ya Elami: nkoto moko na nkama mibale na tuku mitano na minei.

The children of Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four.

8 Bakitani ya Zatu: nkama libwa na tuku minei na mitano.

The children of Zattu, nine hundred forty and five.

9 Bakitani ya Zakayi: nkama sambo na tuku motoba.

The children of Kirjath–arim, Chephirah, and Beeroth, seven hundred and forty and three.

26 Bakitani ya Rama mpe Geba: nkama motoba na tuku mibale na moko.

The children of Ramah and Gaba, six hundred twenty and one.

27 Bato ya mboka Mikimasi: nkama moko na tuku mibale na mibale.

The men of Michmas, an hundred twenty and two.

28 Bato ya bamboka Beteli mpe Ayi: nkama mibale na tuku mibale na misato.

29 Bakitani ya Nebo: tuku mitano na mibale.

The children of Nebo, fifty and two.

30 Bakitani ya Magibishi: nkama moko na tuku mitano na motoba.

31 Bakitani ya Elami mosusu: nkoto moko na nkama mibale na tuku mitano na minei.

The children of the other Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four.

32 Bakitani ya Arimi: nkama misato na tuku mibale.

33 Bakitani ya Lodi, Adidi mpe Ono: nkama sambo na tuku mibale na mitano.

The children of the porters: the children of Shallum, the children of Ater, the children of Talmon, the children of Akkub, the children of Hatita, the children of Shobai, in all an hundred thirty and nine.

43 Tala basali ya Tempelo: Bakitani ya Tsika, Asufa, Tabaoti,

50 Asina, Mewunimi, Nefusimi,

The children of Asnah, the children of Mehunim, the children of Nephusim,

51 Bakibuki, Akufa, Aruri,

The children of Bakbuk, the children of Hakupha, the children of Harhur,

52 Batsiluti, Meyida, Arisha,

The children of Bazluth, the children of Mehida, the children of Harsha,

53 Barikosi, Sisera, Tama,

The children of Barkos, the children of Sisera, the children of Thamah,

54 Netsia mpe Atifa.

The children of Neziah, the children of Hatipha.

55 Tala bakitani ya basali ya Salomo: Bakitani ya Sotayi, Sofereti, Peruda,

The children of Solomon’s servants: the children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Peruda,

56 Yala, Darikoni, Gideli,

The children of Jaalah, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,

57 Shefatia, Atili, Pokereti-Atsebayimi mpe Ami.

The children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth of Zebaim, the children of Ami.

58 Motango ya basali ya Tempelo mpe ya bakitani ya basali ya Salomo: nkama misato na tuku libwa na mibale.

All the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon’s servants, were three hundred ninety and two.

59 Tala molongo ya bato oyo bawutaki na bowumbu, na bingumba Teli-Mela, Teli-Arisha, Kerubi-Adani mpe Imeri, kasi balongaki te kolakisa ete mabota na bango ya botata ewuta na Isalaele:

And these were they which went up from Tel–melah, Tel–harsa, Cherub, Addan, and Immer: but they could not shew their father’s house, and their seed, whether they were of Israel:

60 Bakitani ya Delaya, Tobiya mpe Nekoda: nkama motoba na tuku mitano na mibale.

The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred fifty and two.

61 Mpe kati na Banganga-Nzambe: Bakitani ya Obaya, ya Akotsi mpe ya Barizilayi oyo abengamaki « Barizilayi » mpo ete abalaki mwana mwasi ya Barizilayi, moto ya Galadi.

And of the children of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai; which took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name:

62 Balukaki mikanda oyo bakoma bakombo ya bakoko na bango, kasi batikalaki komona yango te. Boye balongolaki bango na mosala ya bonganga-Nzambe, pamba te bazalaki mbindo.

These sought their register among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but they were not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.

63 Moyangeli apekisaki bango kolia bilei ya bule kino tango Nganga-Nzambe moko akotuna toli ya Yawe na tina na bango, na nzela ya Urimi mpe Tumimi.

And the governor said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and with Thummim.

64 Motango ya lisanga mobimba ya bato oyo bawutaki na bowumbu ezalaki nkoto tuku minei na mibale na nkama misato na tuku motoba,

The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and threescore,

65 bakisa bawumbu na bango ya mibali mpe ya basi, nkoto sambo na nkama misato na tuku misato na sambo; bazalaki na bayembi na bango ya basi mpe ya mibali, nkama mibale;

Beside their servants and their maids, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: and there were among them two hundred singing men and singing women.

66 bampunda ya bitumba, nkama sambo na tuku misato na motoba; bamile nkama mibale na tuku minei na mitano;

Their horses were seven hundred thirty and six; their mules, two hundred forty and five;

67 bashamo nkama minei na tuku misato na mitano; mpe ba-ane nkoto motoba na nkama sambo na tuku mibale.

Their camels, four hundred thirty and five; their donkeys, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.

68 Tango bakomaki na Tempelo ya Yawe, na Yelusalemi, bakambi mingi ya mabota bapesaki makabo oyo bakataki bango moko kopesa wuta na mokano ya mitema na bango mpo na kotonga lisusu Tempelo ya Nzambe, na esika na yango ya kala.

And some of the chief of the fathers, when they came to the house of Yhwh which is at Jerusalem, offered freely for the house of God to set it up in his place:

69 Bapesaki na libenga ya misala, moto na moto kolanda ezweli na ye, mbongo ya bibende ya wolo nkoto tuku motoba na moko, mbongo ya bibende ya palata nkoto mitano, mpe banzambala nkama moko ya mosala ya bonganga-Nzambe.

They gave after their ability unto the treasure of the work threescore and one thousand drams of gold, and five thousand pound of silver, and one hundred priests’ garments.

70 Banganga-Nzambe, Balevi, bakengeli bikuke, bayembi, basali ya Tempelo, ndambo kati na bato mpe bato nyonso ya Isalaele bavandaki kati na bingumba na bango.

So the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
