< Ezekieli 1 >
1 Ezalaki mokolo moko, mokolo ya mitano ya sanza ya minei, na mobu ya tuku misato, wana nazalaki pembeni ya ebale Kebari kati na bato oyo bakendeki na bowumbu, likolo efungwamaki mpe namonaki bimoniseli ya Nzambe.
[I am] Ezekiel, a priest, the son of Buzi. When I was 30 years [old], I [living] among [Israeli] people who had been (exiled from/forced to leave) [and had come to Babylon]. I was living along the Kebar River/ [south of Babylon]. Almost five years after King Jehoiachin had been (exiled/forced to leave Judah), on the fifth day of the fourth [of that year, it was as though] the sky was opened and I saw visions from God. On that day,
2 Kaka na mokolo ya mitano ya sanza ya mobu wana, elingi koloba mobu ya mitano ya bowumbu ya mokonzi Yeoyakini,
3 Yawe alobaki na Ezekieli, mwana mobali ya Nganga-Nzambe Buzi, pembeni ya ebale Kebari, kati na mokili ya bato ya Babiloni. Kuna, loboko na Yawe ezalaki likolo na ye.
God gave me [in visions here] in Babylonia, and I felt the power [MTY] of Yahweh on me.
4 Tango natalaki, namonaki mopepe moko ya makasi kowuta na ngambo ya nor; bongo mopepe yango ezalaki komema mapata minene nzela moko na mikalikali ya kongenga makasi, mpe kati na yango ezalaki kongenga lokola ebende kati na moto.
[In one of the visions, I saw a] windstorm coming from the north. There was a huge cloud, and lightning was flashing continually, and a brilliant light surrounded the cloud. In the center of where the lightning was flashing there was something that resembled glowing bronze.
5 Na kati-kati na yango, namonaki biloko moko lokola bikelamu minei ya bomoi oyo ezalaki na lolenge ya moto.
In the center of the storm I saw what resembled four living creatures. They resembled humans,
6 Moko na moko kati na yango ezalaki na bilongi minei mpe mapapu minei.
but each of them had four faces and four wings [DOU].
7 Makolo na yango ezalaki esembolama, matambe na yango ezalaki lokola matambe ya mwana ngombe ya mobali mpe ezalaki kongenga lokola bronze oyo bapetola na moto.
Their legs were straight. Their feet resembled the hooves of calves, and the creatures shone like polished bronze.
8 Na se ya mapapu na yango, na bangambo na yango minei, ezalaki na maboko minei lokola maboko ya bato; mpe bikelamu nyonso minei ya bomoi ezalaki na bilongi mpe na mapapu na yango.
On their four sides under their wings there were hands like humans have.
9 Mapapu na yango ezalaki kotutana moko na mosusu. Ekelamu moko na moko ezalaki kokende etala kaka na liboso mpe ezalaki kotala na sima te.
As the four [stood there, they formed a circle/square], with their wings touching each other. They did not turn when they were moving; they went straight ahead.
10 Tala ndenge bilongi na yango ezalaki: ekelamu moko na moko kati na nyonso minei ezalaki na elongi lokola ya moto (na liboso): elongi lokola ya nkosi na ngambo ya loboko ya mobali, elongi lokola ya ngombe ya mobali na ngambo ya loboko ya mwasi mpe elongi lokola ya mpongo (na sima).
[of the creatures had four faces]. The face that was in front [of each one was a face that] resembled a human face. The face on the right side resembled a lion’s face. The face on the left side resembled an ox’s face. The face in back resembled an eagle’s face.
11 Bilongi na yango ezalaki nde bongo. Mapapu na yango ezalaki efungwama na likolo; ekelamu moko na moko ezalaki na mapapu mibale: lipapu moko ezalaki kotutana na lipapu moko ya ekelamu mosusu; mpe mapapu mibale ezalaki kobomba nzoto na yango.
Two of each creature’s wings were lifted up and touched the wings of the creatures that were on each side. The other two wings were folded against the creature’s body.
12 Moko na moko ezalaki kokende kaka liboso; ezalaki kokende bisika nyonso oyo Molimo azalaki kokamba yango mpe ezalaki kokende epai mosusu te.
The creatures went straight ahead in whatever direction the [that controlled/guided them] wanted them to go, without changing directions while they were moving.
13 Bikelamu yango ya bomoi ezalaki lokola makala ya moto to lokola koni oyo ezali kopela moto. Moto ezalaki kotambola-tambola kati na bikelamu yango, ezalaki kongenga mpe mikalikali ezalaki kobima kati na yango.
[four] creatures resembled burning coals or torches. A blazing fire moved back and forth among the creatures, and lighting flashed from among them.
14 Bikelamu yango ezalaki kokende mpe kozonga lokola mikalikali.
The creatures moved back and [extremely rapidly], like [SIM] flashes of lightning.
15 Tango nazalaki kotala bikelamu yango, namonaki pine moko na mabele, pembeni ya ekelamu ya bomoi moko na moko, liboso ya bilongi na yango minei.
While I looked at the four living creatures, I saw a wheel on the ground beside each of them.
16 Tala ndenge bapine yango ezalaki mpe ndenge basala yango: ezalaki kongenga lokola libanga ya Krizolite mpe nyonso minei ezalaki ekokana; bongo na ndenge basala yango, ezalaki lokola moko kati na mosusu.
Each of the wheels was the same, and they all shone like [SIM] (chrysolite/a valuable green stone). Each seemed to have one wheel inside another wheel.
17 Tango ekelamu moko na moko ezalaki kotambola, ezalaki kokende na ngambo oyo moko ya bilongi na yango ekotala, kati na bangambo na yango minei; ezalaki kobaluka na ngambo mosusu te mpe bapine na yango ezalaki kotengama te soki bikelamu yango ezali kotambola.
Whenever they moved, they would go straight in one of the four directions that they faced; they did not [in another direction] while they moved.
18 Bajante ya bapine na yango ezalaki minene mpe somo: nyonso minei ezalaki etonda na miso zingazinga na yango.
The rims of the wheels were covered with eyes.
19 Tango bikelamu ya bomoi ezalaki kotambola, bapine mpe ezalaki kotambola pembeni na yango; kasi soki epumbwe longwa na se, bapine mpe ezalaki kopumbwa.
Whenever the living creatures moved, the wheels moved with them. [So] whenever the creatures rose from the ground, the [also] rose up.
20 Esika nyonso Molimo azalaki kokende, bikelamu yango mpe ezalaki kokende; bongo bapine mpe ezalaki komata elongo na yango, pamba te molimo ya bikelamu ya bomoi ezalaki kati na bapine.
Wherever the [that controlled the creatures] wanted the creatures to go, they went, and the wheels went with them, because the [that controlled/guided them] was in the wheels [DOU].
21 Tango bikelamu yango ezalaki kotambola, yango mpe ezalaki kotambola; soki etelemi, yango mpe ezalaki kotelema; soki epumbwe, yango mpe ezalaki kopumbwa elongo na bikelamu yango, pamba te molimo ya bikelamu ya bomoi ezalaki kati na bapine.
Whenever the creatures moved, the wheels moved. Whenever the creatures [still], the wheels stopped. Whenever the creatures rose up from the ground, the wheels rose up with them.
22 Likolo ya mito ya bikelamu yango ya bomoi ezalaki na eloko moko lokola mapata ya likolo, oyo ezalaki kongenga makasi lokola libanga ya talo oyo ya krisitali.
Above the heads of the creatures there was something that resembled a dome. It shone like ice (OR, crystal) shines, and it was awesome.
23 Na se ya mapata yango, mapapu na yango ezalaki esembolama mpe etutana na mapapu ya baninga na yango; mpe moko na moko kati na bikelamu yango ezalaki na mapapu mibale oyo ezalaki kobomba nzoto na yango.
Under the dome, the creatures stretched out their wings. Each one had two wings; [each wing] stretched towards the creature [was next to] it, and two wings that were against the creature’s body.
24 Tango bikelamu yango ezalaki kotambola, nazalaki koyoka makelele ya mapapu na yango lokola makelele ya bambonge ya ebale monene to lokola mongongo ya Nkolo-Na-Nguya-Nyonso to lokola lokito ya mampinga. Tango ezalaki kotelema, ezalaki kokitisa mapapu na yango.
Whenever the creatures moved, their wings made a sound that resembled the roar made by a rushing stream. It also sounded like the voice of Almighty God, and like [SIM] the noise of a huge army marching. Whenever the creatures stood [on the ground], they lowered their wings.
25 Na likolo ya mito na yango, mongongo moko ezalaki koyokana wuta na likolo ya mapata oyo ezalaki; tango ezalaki kotelema, ezalaki mpe kokitisa mapapu na yango.
While they [on the ground] with their wings lowered, there was a voice from the dome that was over their heads.
26 Boye, na likolo ya mapata oyo ezalaki na likolo ya mito na yango, ezalaki na eloko moko lokola libanga ya talo ya langi ya bule mpe lokola kiti ya bokonzi basala na safiri; mpe na likolo ya kiti ya bokonzi yango, ezalaki na elilingi moko oyo ezalaki lokola moto.
Above the dome was something that resembled [huge] [that was made of a huge] (sapphire/valuable blue stone). Sitting on the throne was someone that resembled a human.
27 Namonaki lisusu ete likolo ya loketo na yango ezalaki kongenga lokola linzanza, zingazinga na yango ezalaki lokola moto, se ya loketo na yango ezalaki lokola moto; mpe mikalikali ya makasi ezingelaki yango.
I saw that above his waist his body resembled metal that was glowing as though it [a very hot] fire inside it. And I saw that below his waist there was a very brilliant light that surrounded him.
28 Kongenga oyo ezingelaki yango ezalaki lokola monama na mapata na mokolo ya mvula; elilingi yango ezalaki lokola nkembo na Yawe. Tango namonaki yango, nakweyaki, elongi na ngai kino na mabele, mpe nayokaki mongongo ya moto moko koloba na ngai.
[shone] like [SIM] a rainbow shines in the clouds on a rainy day. That was the brilliant light that represented the presence of Yahweh. When I saw it, I prostrated myself on the ground, and I heard him speak.
