1 Tala lipamboli oyo Moyize, moto na Nzambe, asakolaki mpo na bana ya Isalaele liboso ete akufa.
And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses, the man of God, blessed the children of Israel before his death.
2 Alobaki: « Yawe awutaki na Sinai; wuta na Seiri, abimelaki bango lokola moyi na tongo, angengaki epai na bango wuta na ngomba Parani, ayaki elongo na ebele ya bankoto ya ba-anjelu na Ye mpe asimbaki na loboko na Ye kongenga ya Mobeko.
And he said, The Lord came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them: he shone forth from mount Paran, and he came from among myriads of saints; from his right hand he gave a fiery law unto them.
3 Solo, olingaka bato, basantu nyonso basimbami na loboko na Yo. Na makolo na Yo, bango nyonso bagumbamaka. Ezali epai na Yo nde bazwaka mateya.
Yea, thou also lovedst the tribes; all their saints were in thy hand; and they, prostrate before thy feet, received thy words.
4 Moyize apesa biso Mobeko oyo ezali bozwi ya lisanga ya Jakobi.
“The law which Moses commanded us, is the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob.”
5 Azalaki mokonzi ya Yeshuruni tango bakambi ya bato basanganaki elongo na mabota ya Isalaele.
Thus became he king in Yeshurun, when the heads of the people were assembled, as one the tribes of Israel.
6 Tika ete Ribeni awumela na bomoi mpe akufa te, mpe tika ete bato na ye bazala moke te! »
May Reuben live, and not die; and may not his men be few.
7 Tala mapomboli oyo alobaki mpo na Yuda: « Oh Yawe, yoka koganga ya Yuda; zongisa ye epai ya bato na ye! Tika ete maboko na ye elongisa banzela na ye, mpe tika ete osunga ye liboso ya banguna na ye! »
And this is [the blessing] of Judah, and he said, Hear, Lord, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people: let the power of his hands contend for him; and be thou a help to him from his adversaries.
8 Mpo na Levi, alobaki: « Urimi mpe Tumimi na Yo ezali mpo na moyengebene oyo omekaki ye motema na Masa, mpe oyo owelanaki na ye na mayi ya Meriba,
And of Levi he said, Thy Thummim and thy Urim are with thy holy man, whom thou didst prove at Massah, and with whom thou didst strive at the waters of Meribah;
9 oyo atalisaki bolingo epai na Yo koleka, bolingo epai ya baboti na ye, bandeko na ye mpe bana na ye moko, mpo na kotosa maloba na Yo mpe kobatela boyokani na Yo.
Who said of his father and of his mother, I have not seen him; and who did not acknowledge his brothers, nor regarded his own children; for they observe thy word, and thy covenant they keep.
10 Ateyaka makebisi na Yo epai ya Jakobi, mpe mibeko na Yo epai ya Isalaele; abonzaka ansa liboso na Yo, mpe mbeka ya kotumba na likolo ya etumbelo na Yo.
They shall teach thy ordinances unto Jacob, and thy law unto Israel: they shall put incense before thee, and whole burnt-sacrifice upon thy altar.
11 Oh Yawe, pambola makasi na ye na mosala, mpe sepela na mosala ya maboko na ye. Buka loketo ya bato oyo bazali kotelemela ye, mpe loketo ya bayini na ye kino bakoka lisusu te kotelema. »
Bless, O Lord, his substance, and receive favorably the work of his hands: crush the loins of those that rise up against him, and those that hate him, that they cannot rise again.
12 Mpo na Benjame, alobaki: « Tika ete molingami ya Yawe azala na kimia pembeni na Ye, pamba te Ye nde abatelaka ye mokolo mobimba; mpe moto oyo Yawe alingaka apemaka na kati-kati ya mapeka na Ye! »
And of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the Lord [is he], he shall dwell in safety by him: he will shield him all the day long, and between his shoulders will he dwell.
13 Mpo na Jozefi, alobaki: « Tika ete Yawe apambola mokili na ye na nzela ya mamwe ya motuya, oyo ewutaka na likolo, mpe na nzela ya mayi ya mozindo oyo etiolaka na se ya mabele
And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the Lord be his land, through the precious gift of heaven, through the dew, and through the deep that coucheth beneath,
14 elongo na biloko oyo eleki motuya, oyo mayi ekolisaka mpe oyo eleki kitoko, oyo ebimaka sanza na sanza;
And through the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and through the precious things put forth by the moon,
15 na nzela ya bakado ya kitoko ya bangomba ya kala, mpe na nzela ya bambuma oyo eleki kitoko ya bangomba mike oyo ewumelaka mobu na mobu;
And through the best things of the ancient mountains, and through the precious things of the everlasting hills,
16 na nzela ya bambuma oyo eleki kitoko, bambuma oyo etondi kati na mokili! Tika ete Nzambe oyo avandaka kati na nzete moke oyo ezali kopela moto apambola moto ya Jozefi mpe elongi ya moto oyo babulisi kati na bandeko na ye!
And through the precious things of the earth and its fulness, and through the goodwill of him that dwelt in the thorn-bush: may this blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the crown of the head of him that was separated from his brothers.
17 Na lokumu, azali lokola mwana liboso ya ngombe; maseke na ye ezali lokola ya mpakasa. Na nzela na yango nde ebetaka bikolo, ata bikolo oyo ezali na suka ya mokili. Tala ndenge nini bato ya Efrayimi bazali ebele penza, tala ndenge nini bato ya Manase bazali penza ebele! »
His first-born steer is adorned with glory, and his horns are like the horns of reem; with them shall he push nations together to the ends of the earth: and they are the myriads of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Menasseh.
18 Mpo na Zabuloni, alobaki: « Oh Zabuloni, sepela na kobima na yo! Mpe yo Isakari, tika ete osepela kati na bandako na yo ya kapo.
And of Zebulun he said, Rejoice, Zebulun, in thy going out; and, Issachar, in thy tents.
19 Bakobengisa bato na likolo ya ngomba, mpe bakobonza kuna bambeka ya bosembo, bakosala feti mpo na bomengo ya bibale minene, mpe mpo na bozwi oyo ebombama na zelo ya libongo. »
They will call the tribes unto the mountain; there will they offer sacrifices of righteousness; for they will suck the abundance of the seas, and the treasures hid in the sand.
20 Mpo na Gadi, alobaki: « Tika ete apambolama, moto oyo akoyeisa mokili ya Gadi monene! Gadi akowumela kuna lokola nkosi oyo ezali kopasola banda na lokolo kino na moto.
And of Gad he said, Blessed be he that enlargeth Gad: like a lioness lieth he down, and teareth off the arm with the crown of the head.
21 Aponaki mabele ya kitoko mpo na ye moko, bapesaki ye eteni oyo ebongi na mokambi. Atambolaki liboso ya bato; mpe asalaki mosala kolanda bosembo ya Yawe mpe bikateli na Ye liboso ya Isalaele. »
And he provided the first part for himself, because there is the field of the law-giver, of the hidden; and he went forth at the head of the people: he executed the justice of the Lord, and his judgments with Israel.
22 Mpo na Dani, alobaki: « Dani azali mwana ya nkosi oyo epumbwaka wuta na Bashani. »
And of Dan he said, Dan is a lion's whelp, that leapeth forth from Bashan.
23 Mpo na Nefitali alobaki: « Nefitali atondi na bolamu mpe na mapamboli na Yawe, akozwa libula ya weste mpe ya sude. »
And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favor, and full of the blessing of the Lord, take thou possession of the west and the south.
24 Mpo na Aseri, alobaki: « Aseri azali mwana mobali oyo aleki na mapamboli. Tika ete bandeko na ye basalela ye mpe tika ete makolo na ye ezinda na mafuta.
And of Asher he said, More than [all] the children be Asher blessed: he shall be the most favored of his brethren, and bathe his foot in oil.
25 Bikangelo ya bikuke na yo ekozala ya bibende mpe ya bronze. Mpe tika ete makasi na yo ewumela ndenge mikolo na yo ezali.
Iron and copper shall be thy bolts; and as thy [younger] days so shall thy old age be.
26 Moko te akokani na Nzambe ya Yeshuruni, Nzambe oyo atambolaka na likolo lokola mpunda mpo na kosunga yo, mpe na mapata, kati na nkembo na Ye.
There is none like unto the God of Yeshurun, who rideth to help thee upon the heavens, and in his excellency upon the skies.
27 Nzambe ya tango nyonso azali ekimelo na yo, azali tango nyonso Mosungi awa na se. Ezali Ye nde abenganaka banguna na yo liboso na yo mpe apesaka yo mitindo ya koboma bango.
Thy refuge is the eternal God, and here beneath, the everlasting arms; and he thrust out the enemy from before thee; and he said, Destroy.
28 Boye Isalaele akowumela na kimia, mpe etima ya Jakobi ezali kotiola kati na mokili ya ble mpe ya vino ya sika, epai wapi likolo ezali kokitisa mamwe.
And then dwelt Israel in safety, alone, the fountain of Jacob; in a land of corn and wine; also its heavens shall drop down dew.
29 Oh Isalaele, ozali solo libota ya esengo! Libota nini ekokani na yo, yo libota oyo Yawe abikisi? Ye azali nde nguba na yo mpe mosungi na yo ya nkembo. Banguna na yo bakokima liboso na yo, mpe okonyata bisika na bango, oyo eleki likolo. »
Happy art thou, O Israel! who is like unto thee, O people, saved by the Lord, the Shield of thy help, and who is the Sword of thy excellency! and thy enemies shall fawn upon thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high-places.
