Deteronomi 11
1 Boye, okolinga Yawe, Nzambe na yo, mpe okobatela tango nyonso malako na Ye, bikateli na Ye mpe mitindo na Ye.
Therefore shalt thou love Yahweh thy God and keep his observance and his statutes and his regulations and his commandments all the days.
2 Nazali koloba na bana na bino te oyo batikalaki te koyeba to komona nyonso wana, kasi na bino oyo bozali awa lelo ete bobosanaka te malako ya Yawe, Nzambe na bino, monene na Ye, nguya na Ye,
And ye must know to-day, (for not with your sons [do I speak] who know not, neither have they seen) the discipline of Yahweh your God, —his greatness, his firm hand, and his stretched-out arm;
3 bilembo mpe bikamwa oyo asalaki kati na Ejipito, epai ya Faraon, mokonzi ya Ejipito, mpe epai ya mokili na ye mobimba,
and his signs and his doings, which he did in the midst of Egypt, —unto Pharaoh king of Egypt and unto all his land;
4 makambo oyo asalaki na mampinga ya Ejipito, na bampunda mpe bashar na yango, ndenge azindisaki yango kati na Ebale monene ya barozo, tango ezalaki kolanda bino, mpe ndenge nini Yawe alimwisaki yango libela;
and what he did unto the forces of Egypt—unto his horses and unto his chariots in that he caused the waters of the Red Sea to flow over their faces, when they were pursuing after you, —and so Yahweh destroyed them (unto this day);
5 makambo oyo asalelaki bino kati na esobe kino bokoma na esika oyo,
and what he did unto you, in the desert, —until ye came in as far as this place;
6 makambo oyo asalaki na Datani mpe Abirami, bana mibali ya Eliabi, na libota ya Ribeni, tango mabele efungolaki monoko na yango mpe emelaki bango elongo na mabota na bango, bandako na bango mpe bato nyonso oyo bazalaki sima na bango kati na Isalaele mobimba.
and what he did to Dathan and to Abiram, sons of Eliab, son of Reuben, in that the earth opened wide her mouth, and swallowed-up them and their households and their tents, —and all the living things that attended them, in the midst of all Israel.
7 Ezali bino nde bato bomonaki na miso na bino moko makambo nyonso ya minene oyo Yawe asalaki.
For yours, are the eyes that have seen every great deed of Yahweh, —which he hath done.
8 Yango wana, bobatela mibeko nyonso oyo napesi bino lelo mpo ete bozala makasi mpe bokoka kobotola mokili oyo bolingi kokota mpo na kozwa
Therefore shall ye keep all the commandment which I am commanding thee, today, —that ye may be strong, and so enter and possess the land, whither ye are passing over to possess it;
9 mpe kowumela mingi kati na mokili oyo Yawe alakaki kopesa, na nzela ya ndayi, epai ya bakoko na bino mpe epai ya bakitani na bango, mokili oyo ezali kobimisa miliki mpe mafuta ya nzoyi.
and that ye may prolong your days upon the soil which Yahweh sware unto your fathers, to give unto them and unto their seed, —a land flowing with milk and honey.
10 Mokili oyo ozali kokota mpo na kozwa ekokani te na mokili ya Ejipito epai wapi bowutaki. Kuna, bozalaki kolona bambuma mpe koyeisa mayi na bilanga na kosalaka banzela ya mayi na makolo na bino.
For the land which thou art entering to, possess, not like the land of Egypt, it is, from whence ye came out, —where thou didst sow thy seed, and then water it with thy foot, like a garden of herbs;
11 Kasi mokili oyo bozali kokota mpo na kozwa ezali mokili ya bangomba mpe ya mabwaku, mokili oyo mvula enokaka wuta na likolo.
but the land whereinto ye are passing over to, possess it, is a land of hills, and valleys, —which of the rain of the heavens, doth drink water:
12 Ezali mokili oyo Yawe, Nzambe na yo, abatelaka; miso ya Yawe, Nzambe na yo, ezalaka tango nyonso likolo na yango wuta na ebandeli kino na suka ya mobu.
a land which Yahweh thy God careth for, —continually are the eyes of Yahweh thy God upon it, from the beginning of the year, even unto the end of the year.
13 Soki bokotosa na boyengebene mibeko oyo napesi bino lelo ya kolinga Yawe, Nzambe na bino, mpe ya kosalela Ye na motema na bino mobimba mpe na molimo na bino mobimba,
And it shall come to pass, if ye will hearken, unto my commandments, which, I am commanding you to-day, —to love Yahweh your God, and to serve him, with, all your heart, and with all your soul,
14 nakonokisa kati na mokili na bino mvula na tango na yango, mvula ya ebandeli ya eleko mpe mvula ya suka ya eleko, mpo ete bokoka kobuka mbuma ya malamu, bokoka kozwa vino ya sika mpe mafuta.
then [saith he] I will give the rain of your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain; so shalt thou gather in thy corn, and thy new wine and thine oil;
15 Nakokolisa matiti kati na bilanga mpo na bibwele na bino mpe bokolia mpe bokotonda.
and I will give grass in thy field for thy cattle, —and thou shalt eat and be satisfied.
16 Bosala keba ete bokosama te mpe bopengwa te na kogumbamelaka banzambe mosusu mpe na kofukamelaka yango,
Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be befooled, —and ye turn aside and serve other gods, and bow down to them.
17 noki te Yawe akosilikela bino, akokanga likolo mpo ete enokisa lisusu mvula te mpe mabele ekobota lisusu te mbuma na yango; na bongo bokolimwa kati na mokili ya malamu oyo Yawe apesi bino.
So would the anger of Yahweh kindle upon you and he would shut up the heavens, that there should be no rain, and the ground, would not yield her increase, —so should ye perish speedily, from off the good land, which Yahweh is giving unto you.
18 Bobatela malamu kati na mitema mpe milimo na bino maloba na ngai oyo, bokanga yango na maboko na bino lokola bilembo, mpe botia yango na bilongi na bino lokola elembo.
Therefore shall ye lay these my words upon your heart, and upon your soul, —and bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall serve as bands between your eyes;
19 Boteya yango na bana na bino na kolobelaka bango yango tango bovandi kati na bandako mpe tango bozali kotambola na nzela, tango bolali pongi mpe tango bolamuki.
and ye shall teach them unto your children by speaking of them, —when thou sittest in thy house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down and when thou risest up;
20 Bokoma yango na makonzi ya bandako na bino mpe na bikuke na bino
and thou shalt write them upon the door-posts of thy house and within thy gates:
21 mpo ete mikolo na bino mpe mikolo ya bakitani na bino ezala ebele kati na mokili oyo Yawe alakaki kopesa epai ya bakoko na bino na nzela na ndayi tango nyonso oyo mokili ekowumela.
that your days may multiply, and the days of your children, upon the soil which Yahweh sware unto your fathers, to give unto them, —like the days of the heavens upon the earth.
22 Soki bobateli malamu mibeko nyonso oyo napesi bino mpo na kosalela, na kolingaka Yawe, Nzambe na bino, na kotambolaka na banzela na Ye nyonso mpe na kokangamaka na Ye;
For if ye do, indeed keep, all this commandment which I am commanding you to do it, —to love Yahweh your God, to Walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him,
23 wana Yawe akobengana liboso na bino bikolo oyo nyonso, mpe bokobotola bikolo oyo eleki bino na monene mpe na makasi.
then will Yahweh dispossess all these nations, from before you, —and ye shall dispossess nations greater and stronger than ye:
24 Esika nyonso makolo na bino ekonyata, ekozala ya bino. Mokili na bino ekobanda wuta na esobe kino na Libani, wuta na Ebale Efrate kino na este ya Ebale monene.
every place whereon the sole of your foot shall tread yours, shall it be, —from the desert and the Lebanon from the river—the river Euphrates, even unto the hinder sea, shall be your boundary.
25 Moto moko te akolonga kotelemela bino. Ndenge Yawe Nzambe alakaki bino, akotia somo mpe kobanga kati na mokili mobimba, na esika nyonso oyo bokokende.
No man shall stand before you, —the dread of you and the fear of you, will Yahweh your God put forth over the face of all the land whereon ye shall tread, as he spake unto you.
26 Tala, natie lelo liboso na bino mapamboli mpe bilakeli mabe.
See! I am setting before you to-day, —a blessing, and a curse:
27 Mapamboli, soki botosi mibeko ya Yawe, Nzambe na bino, oyo napesi bino lelo;
the blessing, when ye shall hearken unto the commandments of Yahweh your God, which I am commanding you to-day;
28 bilakeli mabe, soki boboyi kotosa mibeko ya Yawe, Nzambe na bino, mpe bopengwi na nzela oyo natindi bino lelo, na kosalelaka banzambe mosusu oyo bino botikalaki koyeba te.
and the curse if ye, shall not hearken unto the commandments of Yahweh your God, but shall turn aside out of the way which I am commanding you to-day, —to go after other gods which ye know not.
29 Tango Yawe, Nzambe na bino, akokotisa bino na mokili oyo bozali kokota mpo na kozwa, bosengeli kotatola mapamboli na ngomba Garizimi, mpe bilakeli mabe, na ngomba Ebali.
And it shall come to pass when Yahweh thy God shall bring thee into the land which thou art entering to possess, then shalt thou put the blessing, upon Mount Gerizim, and the curse, upon Mount Ebal.
30 Bangomba nyonso mibale ezali na ngambo mosusu ya Yordani, ngambo ya weste, na mokili ya bato ya Kanana oyo bavandaka na etando ya Yordani, etalana na Giligali, pembeni ya banzete minene ya More.
Are, they, not over the Jordan on the way towards the entering in of the sun, in the land of the Canaanite who dwelleth in the plain over against Gilgal beside the Teacher’s Terebinths?
31 Kala mingi te, bokokatisa Yordani mpo na kokota mpe kozwa mokili oyo Yawe, Nzambe na bino, azali kopesa bino. Tango bokobotola yango mpe bokowumela kati na yango,
For ye are passing over the Jordan, to enter to possess the land which Yahweh your God, is giving unto you, —so shall ye possess it and dwell therein.
32 bosala keba ete botosa bikateli nyonso mpe mibeko nyonso oyo nazali kotia liboso na bino lelo.
Therefore shall ye observe to do all the statutes and the regulations, —which I am setting before you to-day.
