Bakolose 1
1 Polo, ntoma ya Yesu-Klisto, kolanda mokano ya Nzambe, mpe ndeko Timote;
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,
2 Epai ya bandeko oyo, kati na engumba Kolose, bazali bule mpe bayengebene kati na Klisto: Tika ete ngolu mpe kimia epesamela bino kowuta na Nzambe, Tata na biso!
to the holy and believing brothers in Christ who are in Colosse. Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father.
3 Tozongisaka tango nyonso matondi epai ya Nzambe, Tata ya Yesu-Klisto, Nkolo na biso, tango tosambelaka mpo na bino,
Whenever I pray for you I am continually thanking God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ
4 pamba te toyokaki sango ya kondima na bino kati na Yesu-Klisto, mpe sango ya bolingo na bino mpo na basantu nyonso.
(since I heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and your love to all the saints)
5 Kondima mpe bolingo yango etongami na likolo ya elikya ya bomengo oyo Nzambe abongisela bino kati na Likolo; elikya yango ebotamaki kati na bino tango boyokaki Liloba ya solo, Sango Malamu
because of the hope laid up for you in heaven. Long ago you heard of this hope in the message which came to you of the truth of the gospel.
6 oyo ekomaki kino epai na bino. Sango Malamu yango epanzani mokili mobimba, ezali kobota bambuma ebele mpe ezali kokende liboso, ndenge kaka esalaki kati na bino wuta mokolo oyo boyokaki yango mpe bozwaki penza bososoli ya kokoka na tina na ngolu ya Nzambe.
And just as it is spreading through the whole world, bearing fruit and increasing, so also is it among you, from the day in which you heard it, and came truly to know the grace of God,
7 Ezali molingami Epafrasi, moninga na biso ya mosala, nde ateyaki bino Sango Malamu yango; azali mosali ya Klisto mpe asalaka na bosembo epai na bino.
as you learned it from Epaphras, our dearly loved fellow slave. He is a faithful minister of Jesus Christ in your behalf,
8 Ezali mpe kaka ye moto ayebisaki biso ndenge nini Molimo atindikaka bino na bolingo.
and it is he who has told me of your love for me in the spirit.
9 Yango wana, wuta mokolo oyo toyokaki sango na tina na bino, totikaka te kobondela mpo na bino mpe kosenga na Nzambe ete atondisa bino na boyebi ya mokano na Ye, na bwanya nyonso mpe na bososoli oyo Molimo apesaka,
For this reason from the day I heard of it I have never ceased to pray for you, asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will with every kind of wisdom and spiritual insight;
10 mpo ete bozala na bizaleli oyo ebongi liboso ya Nkolo, mpo ete bosepelisa Ye na nyonso, mpo ete bobota bambuma na nzela ya lolenge nyonso ya misala na bino ya malamu, mpo ete bokola kati na boyebi ya Nzambe,
that you may walk worthy of the Lord in every kind of pleasing; that you may be fruitful in every kind of good work, and may increase in the knowledge of God;
11 mpo ete bokoma bato na nguya kati na makambo nyonso kolanda makasi ya nkembo na Ye, mpo ete boyikela nyonso mpiko mpe bozala na molende mpe esengo kino na suka;
that you may be strengthened in every kind of strength by the might of his glory for every kind of patience and fortitude with good cheer.
12 mpe mpo ete, na esengo nyonso, bozongisaka matondi epai ya Tata oyo apesaki bino makoki ya kosangana na libula ya basantu kati na Bokonzi ya pole. Pamba te:
I ask that you may give thanks to the Father who has made us fit to receive our share of the heritage of the saints in the light.
13 Akangolaki biso na bokonzi ya molili mpe amemaki biso kati na bokonzi ya Mwana na Ye ya bolingo,
For he has delivered us out of the dominion of the darkness, and transplanted us into the kingdom of his dear Son,
14 oyo, kati na Ye, tozwi lisiko mpe bolimbisi ya masumu.
in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of our sins.
15 Klisto azali elilingi ya Nzambe oyo amonanaka te, azala liboso ya bikelamu nyonso,
He is a visible image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;
16 pamba te ezali na nzela na Yesu nde nyonso ekelama kati na Likolo mpe na mabele, bikelamu oyo emonanaka mpe oyo emonanaka te, milimo mpe bokonzi ya milimo, bakonzi ya milimo mpe banguya. Ezali na nzela na Yesu mpe mpo na Yesu nde nyonso ekelama.
for in him was the universe created, things in heaven and on earth, the seen and the unseen, thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers; by him and for him all have been created;
17 Yesu azali liboso na nyonso, mpe nyonso esimbama kati na Ye;
and HE IS before all, and in him all things subsist.
18 azali moto ya nzoto na Ye, oyo ezali Lingomba; azali ebandeli, Mosekwi ya liboso kati na bakufi, mpo ete azala na bokonzi ya liboso kati na nyonso,
He is the head of his Body, the Church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, in order that in all things he may become preeminent.
19 pamba te, kati na Ye, Nzambe asepelaki kovandisa bonzambe na Ye nyonso
For in him all the divine fulness chose to dwell;
20 mpe kozongisa, na nzela ya Klisto, boyokani kati na Ye moko Nzambe mpe bikelamu nyonso, ezala oyo ezali na mabele to mpe oyo ezali kati na Likolo, na kotia kimia na nzela ya makila oyo Mwana na Ye asopaki na ekulusu.
and by him it chose to reconcile all things alike on earth or in heaven to himself; making peace by him, through the blood of his cross.
21 Nzokande na kala, bozalaki mosika ya Nzambe mpe bozalaki banguna na Ye mpo na mabe nyonso oyo bozalaki kokanisa mpe kosala.
And you, alienated as you once were, hostile at heart in your evil deeds,
22 Kasi sik’oyo, Nzambe azongisi boyokani kati na Ye mpe bino na nzela ya kufa ya Yesu, Mwana na Ye, oyo akabaki nzoto na Ye ya bomoto lokola mbeka mpo na kotalisa bino epai ya Nzambe lokola bato ya bule, bazanga pamela mpe bazanga mbeba.
he has now in his human body reconciled to God by his death, in order that he may bring you into his presence, holy and unblemished and irreproachable.
23 Kasi bosengeli penza kowumela, kotelema ngwi mpe kolenda kati na kondima na bino; mpe bosengeli koboya kopengwa mosika ya elikya oyo bozwaki wuta tango boyokaki Sango Malamu. Sango Malamu yango esakolamaki kati na bikelamu nyonso oyo ezali na se ya Likolo, mpe ngai Polo nakoma mosali na yango.
And this he will do if, indeed, you continue in the faith, firmly founded and stedfast, and never moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, and which has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, that gospel of which I, Paul, was made a minister.
24 Nazali sik’oyo kosepela na pasi oyo nazali komona mpo na bino; pamba te pasi oyo Klisto atikalaki komona te, ngai nazali kokokisa yango kati na nzoto na ngai mpo na bolamu ya nzoto na Ye, oyo ezali Lingomba.
I am now rejoicing in my sufferings on your behalf; and I am filling up in my own body what is yet lacking of the sufferings of Christ in behalf of the church, his Body.
25 Nakoma mosali na yango kolanda mokumba oyo Nzambe apesa ngai: mokumba ya koteya bino Liloba na Nzambe na mobimba na yango.
It is of this I was made a minister, according to the stewardship entrusted to me by God for you, fully to declare God’s message;
26 Sango Malamu ezali mabombami oyo Nzambe abomba wuta na ebandeli, kasi alakisi yango sik’oyo epai ya basantu na Ye. (aiōn g165)
that secret truth, which, although hidden from ages and generations of old, has now been made manifest to his saints. (aiōn g165)
27 Nzambe asepeli kolakisa bango bomengo ya nkembo, oyo evandi kati na mabombami ya mabongisi na Ye mpo na Bapagano. Mabombami yango ezali: Klisto kati na bino, elikya ya nkembo.
To them God willed to make known among the Gentiles how glorious are the riches of that secret truth, which is "Christ in you, the hope of glory."
28 Ezali Ye Klisto nde biso tosakolaka, na kokebisa mpe na koteya moto nyonso, na bwanya nyonso, mpo na kokomisa moto nyonso ya kokoka kati na Klisto.
Him I am ever proclaiming, warning every one and teaching every one, in all wisdom; that I may bring every man into his presence, full grown in Christ.
29 Ezali mpo na yango nde nasalaka mpe nabundaka na nzela ya makasi ya Klisto, oyo esalaka na nguya kati na ngai.
For that end I am ever toiling, wrestling with all that energy of his which is mightily at work within me.
