< Misala ya Bantoma 23 >
1 Polo atalaki bato nyonso ya Likita-Monene mpe alobaki: — Bandeko na ngai, kino na moyi ya lelo, nazali kotambola na motema ya peto liboso ya Nzambe.
And when Paul had looked on the assembly of them, he said: Men, my brethren; I have lived in all good conscience before God up to this day.
2 Kasi Ananiasi, mokonzi ya Banganga-Nzambe, apesaki bato oyo bazalaki pene ya Polo mitindo ete babeta ye na monoko.
And Ananias, the priest, commanded those who stood by his side, to smite Paul on the mouth.
3 Bongo Polo alobaki na ye: — Nzambe akobeta yo, yo mir oyo bapakola langi ya pembe! Ovandi wana mpo na kosambisa ngai ndenge Mobeko ezali kosenga, nzokande yo nde moto obuki Mobeko mpo ete opesi mitindo ete babeta ngai!
And Paul said to him: God is here-after to smite thee, thou Whited Wall! For, sittest thou judging me agreeably to law, while thou transgressest the law, and commandest to smite me?
4 Bato oyo batelemaki pene ya Polo balobaki: — Ebandi ndenge nini ofinga mbala moko mokonzi ya Banganga-Nzambe, ya Nzambe!
And those standing by, said to him: Dost thou reproach the priest of God!
5 Polo azongisaki: — Bandeko, nayebaki te ete azali mokonzi ya Banganga-Nzambe, pamba te nayebi malamu ete ekomama: « Okolobaka mabe te na tina na mokambi ya bato na yo. »
Paul said to them: I was not aware, my brethren, that he was the priest: for it is written, Thou shalt not curse the ruler of thy people.
6 Lokola Polo ayebaki ete, kati na bato ya Likita-Monene, bamoko bazalaki Basaduseo, mpe bamosusu, Bafarizeo, agangaki kati na Likita-Monene: — Bandeko na ngai, nazali Mofarizeo, mwana ya Bafarizeo; nazali kosamba mpo na elikya na biso ya lisekwa ya bakufi.
And, as Paul knew that a part of the people were of the Sadducees, and a part of the Pharisees, he cried out, in the assembly: Men, my brethren; I am a Pharisee the son of a Pharisee; and for the hope of the resurrection of the dead, I am judged.
7 Tango kaka alobaki bongo, koswana makasi ekotaki kati na Bafarizeo mpe Basaduseo, mpe mayangani ekabwanaki;
And when he had said this, the Pharisees and Sadducees fell upon one another, and the people were divided
8 pamba te Basaduseo balobaka ete lisekwa ezalaka te, ba-anjelu bazalaka te, milimo mpe ezalaka te; nzokande, Bafarizeo bandimaka makambo wana nyonso.
For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, nor angels, nor a spirit: but the Pharisees confess all these.
9 Makelele emataki makasi penza. Boye ndambo ya balakisi ya Mobeko oyo bazalaki Bafarizeo batelemaki mpe batombolaki mingongo na mpiko nyonso: — Solo, tomoni ata mabe moko te ya kopamela moto oyo. Nani ayebi? Tango mosusu molimo to anjelu nde alobaki na ye.
And there was great vociferation. And some Scribes of the party of the Pharisees rose up, and contended with them, and said. We have found nothing evil in this man: for if a spirit or an angel hath conversed with him, what is there in that?
10 Lokola tembe ekomaki makasi koleka, mokonzi ya basoda abangaki ete bakata Polo biteni-biteni; apesaki mitindo na basoda ete bakita, balongola ye kati na bango mpe bamema ye kati na lopango ya basoda.
And, as there was great commotion among them, the Chiliarch was afraid lest they should tear Paul in pieces. And he sent Romans, to go and pluck him from their midst, and bring him into the castle.
11 Na butu oyo elandaki, Nkolo abimelaki Polo kati na emoniseli mpe alobaki na ye: — Yika mpiko! Ndenge kaka otatolaki na tina na Ngai kati na Yelusalemi, ndenge mpe osengeli kotatola kati na Rome.
And when night came, our Lord appeared to Paul, and said to him: Be strong; for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so also art thou to testify at Rome.
12 Na tongo ya mokolo oyo elandaki, Bayuda basalelaki Polo likita; balapaki ndayi ete bakolia te mpe bakomela ata eloko moko te kino bakoboma Polo.
And when it was morning, several of the Jews assembled together, and bound themselves by imprecations that they would neither eat nor drink until they had slain Paul.
13 Motango ya bato oyo basalelaki Polo likita yango ezalaki bato koleka tuku minei.
And they who had established this compact by oath, were more than forty persons.
14 Bakendeki epai ya bakonzi ya Banganga-Nzambe mpe bakambi ya bato mpo na koloba na bango: — Tolapi ndayi ete tokolia eloko moko te kino tokoboma Polo.
And they went to the priests and Elders, and said: We have bound ourselves by imprecations, that we will taste of nothing, until we shall have slain Paul.
15 Bino mpe bato ya Likita-Monene, bokende sik’oyo epai ya mokonzi ya basoda mpe bosenga ete bamema Polo liboso na bino, lokola nde bolingi koyekola malamu likambo na ye. Bongo na ngambo na biso, tosili komibongisa mpo na koboma ye liboso ete akoma awa.
And now, do ye and the chiefs of the congregation request of the Chiliarch, that he would bring him unto you, as if ye were desirous to investigate truly his conduct: and we are prepared to slay him, ere he shall come to you.
16 Kasi tango mwana mobali ya ndeko mwasi ya Polo ayokaki motambo yango, akendeki na lopango ya basoda, akotaki mpe akebisaki Polo.
And the son of Paul's sister, heard of this plot: and he went into the castle, and informed Paul.
17 Bongo Polo abengaki mokonzi moko ya basoda nkama moko mpe alobaki na ye: — Mema elenge mobali oyo epai ya mokonzi, pamba te azali na likambo ya koyebisa ye.
And Paul sent and called one of the centurions, and said to him: Conduct this youth to the Chiliarch; for he hath something to tell him.
18 Boye, mokonzi yango amemaki ye epai ya mokonzi ya basoda mpe alobaki: — Mokangami Polo abengaki ngai mpe asengaki na ngai ete namemela yo elenge mobali oyo, pamba te azali na likambo ya koyebisa yo.
And the centurion took the young man, and introduced him to the Chiliarch, and said: Paul the prisoner called me, and requested me to bring this youth to thee, for he hath something to tell thee.
19 Mokonzi ya basoda akamataki elenge mobali na loboko, amemaki ye na pembeni mpe atunaki ye: — Likambo nini olingi koyebisa ngai?
And the Chiliarch took the young man by his hand, and led him one side, and asked him: What hast thou to tell me?
20 Elenge mobali azongisaki: — Bayuda bayokani kosenga na yo ete, lobi, omemela bango Polo liboso ya Likita-Monene, lokola nde balingi koyekola lisusu likambo na ye.
And the young man said to him: The Jews have projected to ask thee to bring down Paul to-morrow to their assembly, as if wishing to learn something more from him.
21 Kasi kondima bosenga na bango te, pamba te bato koleka tuku minei kati na bango bazali kobongisa motambo mpo na kokanga ye; balapaki ndayi ete bakolia te mpe bakomela ata eloko moko te kino bakoboma Polo. Makambo nyonso esili kobongisama mpe bazali kozela kaka ndingisa na yo.
But be not thou persuaded by them: for, lo, more than forty persons of them watch for him in ambush, and have bound themselves by imprecations, that they will neither eat nor drink until they shall have slain him: and lo, they are prepared, and are waiting for thy promise
22 Mokonzi ya basoda atikaki elenge mobali yango ete azonga; kasi liboso ete akende, akebisaki ye: — Koloba na moto moko te likambo oyo oyebisi ngai.
And the Chiliarch dismissed the young man, after charging him: Let no man know, that thou hast showed me these things.
23 Sima na mwa tango moke, mokonzi ya basoda abengisaki bakonzi mibale ya basoda nkama moko mpe alobaki na bango: — Bobongisa basoda nkama mibale, basoda tuku sambo oyo batambolaka na bampunda mpe basoda mosusu nkama mibale, mpo ete bakende na Sezarea, na ngonga ya libwa ya butu.
And he called two centurions, and said to them: Go and prepare two hundred Romans to go to Caesarea, and seventy horsemen, and shooters with the right hand two hundred; and let them set out at the third hour of the night.
24 Bobongisa bampunda mpo na komema Polo mpo ete akoma malamu epai ya moyangeli Felikisi.
And provide also a saddle beast, that they may set Paul on it, and carry him safely to Felix the governor.
25 Boye, akomelaki moyangeli mokanda oyo:
And he wrote a letter and gave them, in which was, thus:
26 Tata moyangeli Felikisi, yamba mbote ewuti epai na ngai Klodiusi Lisiasi.
Claudius Lysias to the excellent governor Felix; greeting.
27 Bayuda bakangaki moto oyo natindeli yo. Tango balingaki koboma ye, nayaki elongo na basoda mpe nakangolaki ye, pamba te nayokaki sango ete azali moto ya Rome.
The Jews seized this man, in order to kill him; but I came with Romans, and rescued him, when I learned that he was a Roman.
28 Lokola nalingaki koyeba malamu tina oyo bafundelaki ye, namemaki ye liboso ya Likita-Monene na bango.
And as I wished to know the offence, for which they criminated him, I brought him to their assembly.
29 Namonaki ete bafundaki ye kaka mpo na makambo oyo etali mobeko na bango, kasi balongaki te kofunda ye mpo na mabe moko oyo ekoki kopesa ye etumbu ya kufa to ya boloko.
And I found, that it was about questions of their law they accused him, and that an offence worthy of bonds or of death, was not upon him.
30 Tango bayebisaki ngai ete Bayuda basaleli ye likita mpo na koboma ye, nazwaki mokano ya kotinda ye epai na yo noki penza; mpe napesaki lisusu mitindo na bato oyo bafundaki ye ete baya kofunda ye epai na yo.
And when the wiles of a plot formed by the Jews against him came to my knowledge, I forthwith sent him to thee. And I have directed his accusers, to go and contend with him, before thee. Farewell.
31 Kolanda mitindo oyo basoda bazwaki, bakamataki Polo mpe bamemaki ye butu-butu kino na Antipatrisi.
Then the Romans, as they had been commanded, took Paul by night, and brought him to the city of Antipatris.
32 Mokolo oyo elandaki, basoda oyo batambolaka na makolo bazongaki na lopango ya basoda mpe batikaki basoda oyo batambolaka likolo ya bampunda kokende elongo na ye.
And the next day, the horsemen dismissed the footmen their associates, that they might return to the castle.
33 Tango bakomaki na Sezarea, basoda oyo batambolaka likolo ya bampunda bapesaki mokanda yango epai ya moyangeli mpe balakisaki ye Polo.
And they brought him to Caesarea: and they delivered the letter to the governor, and set Paul before him.
34 Moyangeli atangaki mokanda yango mpe atunaki soki Polo azali moto ya mboka nini. Wana ayokaki ete azali moto ya Silisi,
And when he had read the letter, he asked him of what province he was? And when he learned that he was of Cilicia,
35 alobaki na ye: — Nakoyoka yo tango bato oyo bafundaki yo bakokoma. Bongo apesaki mitindo ete bakengela Polo kati na ndako ya mokonzi Erode.
he said to him: I will give thee audience, when thy accusers arrive. And he ordered him to be kept in the Praetorium of Herod.
