< 2 Timote 3 >

1 Kasi yeba malamu ete mikolo ya suka ekozala mikolo ya pasi:
But of this be assured: in the last days grievous times will set in.
2 bato bakokoma na lokoso ya mbongo, bakokoma miyimi, lolendo, lofundu; bakokoma kofinga Nzambe, kozanga botosi epai ya baboti na bango, koboya kozongisa matondi, kozanga limemia mpo na biloko ya bule,
For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, profane. They will be disobedient to parents, thankless, irreligious,
3 kozanga bolingo, kozanga mawa, kokosela baninga makambo, kozanga makoki ya komikanga, bato na kanza, banguna ya bolamu,
destitute of natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers. They will have no self-control, but will be brutal, opposed to goodness,
4 bateki baninga, bato ya mitema mikuse, bato na komitombola, bato balinga bisengo na esika ya kolinga Nzambe;
treacherous, headstrong, self-important. They will love pleasure instead of loving God,
5 bakobanda komilakisa lokola nde bazali na botosi kati na makambo ya Nzambe, nzokande bawanganaka nguya na yango. Kima bato ya lolenge wana!
and will keep up a make-believe of piety and yet live in defiance of its power. Turn away from people of this sort.
6 Bamosusu kati na bango bakotaka na bandako ya bato mpe bakosaka basi ya pete oyo batonda na masumu mpe bamitikaka na lolenge nyonso ya baposa ya nzoto,
Among them are included the men who make their way into private houses and carry off weak women as their prisoners--women who, weighed down by the burden of their sins, are led by ever-changing caprice,
7 oyo balukaka tango nyonso koyekola kasi bakokaka ata moke te koyeba solo.
and are always learning something new, and yet are never able to arrive at real knowledge of the truth.
8 Ndenge Janesi mpe Jambresi batelemelaki Moyize, ndenge wana mpe bato wana batelemelaka solo. Bazali bato oyo makanisi na bango esila kobeba mpe kondima na bango esila kokufa.
And just as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so also these false teachers withstand the truth--being, as they are, men of debased intellects, and of no real worth so far as faith is concerned.
9 Kasi bakokende mosika te, pamba te bozoba na bango ekomonana na miso ya bato nyonso, ndenge ezalaki mpo na mibali wana mibale.
But they will have no further success; for their folly will be as clearly manifest to all men, as that of the opponents of Moses came to be.
10 Nzokande yo oyebi nyonso na tina na mateya na ngai, bizaleli, makanisi, kondima, kokanga motema, bolingo, mpiko,
But you have intimately known my teaching, life, aims, faith, patience, love, resignation,
11 minyoko mpe pasi na ngai; oyebi makambo nyonso oyo ekomelaki ngai na Antioshe, na Ikoniomi mpe na Listre. Solo, nanyokwamaki makasi, kasi Nkolo akangolaki ngai wuta na nyonso.
and the persecutions and sufferings which I have endured; the things which happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra. You know the persecutions I endured, and how the Lord delivered me out of them all.
12 Solo, bato nyonso oyo balingi kotambola na botosi kati na Yesu-Klisto bakonyokolama.
And indeed every one who is determined to live a godly life as a follower of Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
13 Kasi bato mabe mpe ba-oyo bakosaka baninga bakozala kozinda kati na mabe, kokosa bato mosusu, mpe bango moko bakokosa bango.
But bad men and impostors will go on from bad to worse, misleading and being misled.
14 Kasi yo, kangama kaka na makambo oyo oyekolaki mpe ondimaki, pamba te oyebi epai ya nani oyekolaki yango;
But you must cling to the things which you have learnt and have been taught to believe, knowing who your teachers were,
15 mpe wuta bomwana na yo, oyebi Makomi ya bule oyo ezali na makoki ya kopesa yo bwanya oyo ememaka na lobiko na nzela ya kondima kati na Yesu-Klisto.
and that from infancy you have known the sacred writings which are able to make you wise to obtain salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
16 Makomi nyonso ekomama na nguya ya Nzambe mpe ezali na tina mpo na koteya, kopamela, kozongisa na nzela mpe kolakisa bato kotambola kolanda bosembo,
Every Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for convincing, for correction of error, and for instruction in right doing;
17 mpo ete moto na Nzambe azala ya kokoka mpe ya kobongisama mpo na kosala misala nyonso ya malamu.
so that the man of God may himself be complete and may be perfectly equipped for every good work.
