2 Tika ete ngolu mpe kimia epesamela bino kowuta na Nzambe, Tata na biso, mpe na Nkolo Yesu-Klisto!
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Bandeko, tosengeli tango nyonso kozongisaka matondi epai ya Nzambe mpo na bino. Solo, ezali malamu mpo na biso kosalaka bongo, pamba te kondima na bino ezali se kokola mpe bolingo oyo moko na moko kati na bino azali na yango mpo na moninga na ye ezali mpe kokola.
We are obligated to thank God for you all the time, brothers, as is fitting, because your faith is growing more and more, and your love for one another is increasing.
4 Mpe kati na Mangomba ya Nzambe, tozali komikumisa na tina na molende mpe kondima na bino kati na minyoko nyonso mpe kati na pasi oyo bozali komona.
That is why we boast among God’s churches about your perseverance and faith in the face of all the persecution and affliction you are enduring.
5 Makambo oyo nyonso ezali kolakisa na polele ete Nzambe atalaka makambo na bosembo, mpe ete alingi kozwa bino lokola bato oyo babongi mpo na Bokonzi ya Nzambe, oyo bozali komonela pasi.
All this is clear evidence of God’s righteous judgment. And so you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering.
6 Solo, Nzambe azali sembo: akozongisa pasi lokola etumbu epai ya banyokoli na bino;
After all, it is only right for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,
7 mpe akopesa bopemi epai na biso mpe epai na bino oyo bozali komona pasi, tango Nkolo Yesu akomimonisa wuta na Likolo, elongo na ba-anjelu na Ye ya nguya,
and to grant relief to you who are oppressed and to us as well. This will take place when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels
8 mpe kati na moto mpo na kopesa etumbu epai ya bato oyo bayebi Nzambe te mpe batosaka te Sango Malamu ya Yesu, Nkolo na biso.
in blazing fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
9 Bakozwa etumbu ya libebi ya seko na seko, mosika ya bozalisami ya Nkolo mpe ya nguya ya nkembo na Ye (aiōnios g166)
They will suffer the penalty of eternal destruction, separated from the presence of the Lord and the glory of His might, (aiōnios g166)
10 tango akoya na mokolo wana mpo na kopesamela nkembo kati na basantu na Ye, mpe lokumu kati na bandimi na Ye. Bino mpe bokozala elongo na bango, pamba te bondimaki mateya oyo toteyaki bino.
on the day He comes to be glorified in His saints and regarded with wonder by all who have believed, including you who have believed our testimony.
11 Yango wana tobondelaka tango nyonso Nzambe na biso mpo na bino, mpo ete akomisa bino bato oyo babongi na bomoi oyo abengaki bino mpo na yango; mpe mpo ete, na nzela ya nguya na Ye, akokisa posa na bino ya kosala bolamu to makambo nyonso oyo kondima na bino ezali kotinda bino kosala.
To this end, we always pray for you, that our God will count you worthy of His calling, and that He will powerfully fulfill your every good desire and work of faith,
12 Tosambelaka bongo mpo ete Kombo ya Yesu, Nkolo na biso, epesamela nkembo kati na bino, mpe bino bozwa lokumu kati na Ye kolanda ngolu ya Nzambe na biso mpe ya Nkolo Yesu-Klisto.
so that the name of our Lord Jesus will be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and of the Lord Jesus Christ.
