< 2 Samuele 4 >
1 Tango Ishi-Bosheti, mwana mobali ya Saulo, ayokaki ete Abineri akufi na Ebron, alembaki nzoto, mpe bato nyonso ya Isalaele bakomaki na somo makasi.
And the son of Saul hears that Abner [is] dead in Hebron, and his hands are feeble, and all of Israel has been troubled.
2 Nzokande mwana mobali ya Saulo azalaki na bato mibale oyo bazalaki bakonzi ya mampinga: moko, kombo na ye ezalaki « Baana; » mpe mosusu, « Rekabi. » Bazalaki bana mibali ya Rimoni, moto ya Beyeroti, kati na bato ya ekolo ya Benjame. Beyeroti ezalaki eteni ya mabele ya Benjame,
And two men, heads of troops, have been [to] the son of Saul, the name of the first [is] Baanah, and the name of the second Rechab, sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, of the sons of Benjamin, for Beeroth is also reckoned to Benjamin,
3 pamba te bato ya Beyeroti bakimelaki na Gitayimi mpe bavandaki kuna lokola bapaya kino na mokolo ya lelo.
and the Beerothites flee to Gittaim, and are sojourners there to this day.
4 Jonatan, mwana mobali ya Saulo, azalaki na mwana mobali moko oyo azalaki na mbeba na makolo nyonso mibale. Wana azalaki nanu na mibu mitano ya mbotama, sango kowuta na Jizireyeli na tina na Saulo mpe Jonatan ekomaki. Boye mama mobokoli na ye akamataki ye mpo na kokima. Kasi lokola akimaki na lombangu, mwana akweyaki mpe akomaki na mbeba na makolo nyonso mibale. Kombo na ye ezalaki « Mefibosheti. »
And to Jonathan son of Saul [is] a son—lame; he was a son of five years at the coming in of the rumor of [the death of] Saul and Jonathan, out of Jezreel, and his nurse lifts him up, and flees, and it comes to pass in her hastening to flee, that he falls, and becomes lame, and his name [is] Mephibosheth.
5 Rekabi mpe Baana, bana mibali ya Rimoni, moto ya Beyeroti, bakendeki na ndako ya Ishi-Bosheti mpe bakomaki kuna na ngonga ya midi, wana azalaki kolala mpo na kopema.
And the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, Rechab and Baanah, go, and come in at the heat of the day to the house of Ish-Bosheth, and he is lying down—the lying down of noon;
6 Bakotaki kati na ndako lokola nde bakei kozwa ble, wana Ishi-Bosheti azalaki ya kolala na mbeto na ye kati na shambre, batubaki ye mbeli na libumu, babomaki ye mpe bakataki ye moto; bongo bazwaki moto yango, bakimaki mpe batambolaki na yango butu mobimba na nzela oyo ekenda na etando ya Araba. Rekabi mpe Baana, ndeko na ye ya mobali, bakimaki.
and they have come there, to the midst of the house, taking wheat, and they strike him to the fifth [rib], and Rechab and his brother Baanah have escaped;
indeed, they come into the house, and he is lying on his bed, in the inner part of his bed-chamber, and they strike him, and put him to death, and turn his head aside, and they take his head, and go the way of the plain all the night,
8 Bamemaki moto ya Ishi-Bosheti epai ya Davidi, na Ebron, mpe balobaki na mokonzi: — Tala moto ya Ishi-Bosheti, mwana mobali ya Saulo, monguna na yo, oyo alukaki koboma yo. Na mokolo ya lelo, Yawe azongisi mpo na mokonzi, nkolo na ngai, mabe na mabe epai ya Saulo mpe bakitani na ye.
and bring in the head of Ish-Bosheth to David in Hebron, and say to the king, “Behold, the head of Ish-Bosheth, son of Saul, your enemy, who sought your life; and YHWH gives vengeance to my lord the king this day, of Saul and of his seed.”
9 Davidi azongiselaki Rekabi mpe Baana, ndeko na ye ya mobali, bana mibali ya Rimoni, moto ya Beyeroti: — Na Kombo na Yawe oyo akangoli ngai na pasi nyonso
And David answers Rechab and his brother Baanah, sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, and says to them, “YHWH lives, who has redeemed my soul out of all adversity,
10 tango moto moko ayebisaki ngai ete Saulo akufi, wana akanisaki ete amemeli ngai sango malamu. Nakangaki ye mpe nabomaki ye, na Tsikilagi. Ezalaki lifuti oyo napesaki ye mpo na sango na ye.
when one is declaring to me, saying, Behold, Saul is dead, and he was as a bearer of tidings in his own eyes, then I take hold on him, and slay him in Ziklag, instead of my giving to him [for] the tidings.
11 Bongo sik’oyo, tango bato mabe babomi moto oyo ayebi na ye likambo te kati na ndako na ye moko mpe na mbeto na ye moko, nasengeli te kosenga makila na ye na maboko na bino mpe kolimwisa bino na mokili?
Also—when wicked men have slain the righteous man in his own house, on his bed; and now, do I not require his blood from your hand, and have taken you away from the earth?”
12 Boye Davidi apesaki mitindo; mpe bato na ye babomaki bango, bakataki bango maboko mpe makolo mpe badiembikaki bango pembeni ya liziba ya Ebron. Bazwaki moto ya Ishi-Bosheti mpe bakundaki yango kati na kunda ya Abineri, na Ebron.
And David commands the young men, and they slay them, and cut off their hands and their feet, and hang [them] over the pool in Hebron, and they have taken the head of Ish-Bosheth, and bury [it] in the burying-place of Abner in Hebron.
