< 2 Samuele 12 >
1 Yawe atindaki Natan epai ya Davidi. Tango akomaki epai ya Davidi, alobaki na ye: « Ezalaki na bato mibale kati na engumba moko: moko kati na bango azalaki mozwi; mpe mosusu, mobola.
And the LORD sent Nathan to David. And he came to him, and said to him, There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor.
2 Mozwi azalaki na bameme mpe bangombe ebele,
The rich man had very many flocks and herds:
3 kasi mobola azalaki na eloko te longola kaka mwa mwana meme moko ya mwasi oyo asombaki. Abokolaki yango mpe ekolaki epai na ye elongo na bana na ye. Mpate yango ezalaki kolia bilei na sani moko, komela mayi na kopo moko na nkolo na yango mpe kolala na maboko na ye. Ezalaki lokola mwana na ye ya mwasi.
But the poor man had nothing, except one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and nourished: and it grew up together with him, and with his children; it fed of his own food, and drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was to him as a daughter.
4 Mokolo moko, mopaya moko ayaki epai ya mozwi, kasi mozwi aboyaki kozwa meme moko kati na bameme na ye to ngombe moko kati na bangombe na ye mpo na kolamba yango mpo na mopaya oyo ayaki epai na ye; azwaki kaka mwa mwana meme ya mwasi ya mobola mpe alambaki yango mpo na mopaya oyo ayaki epai na ye. »
And there came a traveller to the rich man, and he was not willing to take of his own flock and of his own herd, to prepare for the wayfaring man that had come to him; but took the poor man’s lamb, and prepared it for the man that had come to him.
5 Davidi asilikelaki mozwi makasi mpe alobaki na Natan: — Na Kombo na Yawe, moto oyo asali boye asengeli na kufa!
And David’s anger was greatly kindled against the man; and he said to Nathan, As the LORD liveth, the man that hath done this thing shall surely die:
6 Asengeli kofuta mwa mwana meme yango mbala minei, pamba te azalaki na mawa te ya kosala likambo ya boye.
And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity.
7 Natan alobaki na Davidi: — Moto yango ezali nde yo! Tala makambo oyo Yawe, Nzambe ya Isalaele, alobi: « Napakolaki yo mafuta mpo ete okoma mokonzi ya Isalaele mpe nakangolaki yo na maboko ya Saulo;
And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee from the hand of Saul;
8 nakabaki na maboko na yo ndako ya nkolo na yo, Saulo, mpe basi na ye; napesaki yo libota ya Isalaele mpe libota ya Yuda. Bongo soki nyonso wana ezalaki moke koleka, nalingaki kobakisela yo lisusu ebele koleka.
And I gave thee thy master’s house, and thy master’s wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would moreover have given to thee such and such things.
9 Mpo na nini otioli Liloba na Yawe na kosala makambo oyo ezali mabe na miso na Ye? Obomisi Iri, moto ya Iti, na mopanga mpe ozwi mwasi na ye mpo ete akoma mwasi na yo. Obomisi ye na mopanga ya bato ya Amoni.
Why hast thou despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.
10 Mpo na yango, mopanga ekolongwa lisusu te na ndako na yo, pamba te otioli ngai mpe ozwi mwasi ya Iri, moto ya Iti, mpo ete akoma mwasi na yo.
Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thy house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.
11 Tala liloba oyo Yawe alobi: ‹ Nakoyeisa pasi epai na yo wuta na ndako na yo moko; na miso na yo, nakokamata basi na yo mpe nakopesa bango na moko kati na baninga na yo, oyo akosangisa na bango nzoto na moyi makasi.
Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thy own house, and I will take thy wives before thy eyes, and give them to thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.
12 Osalaki yango na nkuku, kasi ngai nakosala likambo oyo na moyi mpe na miso ya Isalaele mobimba. › »
For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.
13 Davidi alobaki na Natan: — Solo, nasalaki masumu epai na Yawe. Natan azongisaki: — Yawe alongoli masumu na yo; okokufa te.
And David said to Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And Nathan said to David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.
14 Kasi lokola na likambo oyo yo osali, opesi na banguna ya Yawe nzela ya kofinga Ye, mwana oyo bakobotela yo akokufa.
But, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born to thee shall surely die.
15 Sima na yango, Natan azongaki na ndako na ye. Yawe abetaki mwana oyo mwasi ya Iri abotelaki Davidi, mpe mwana yango akomaki kobela.
And Nathan departed to his house. And the LORD struck the child that Uriah’s wife bore to David, and he was very sick.
16 Davidi abondelaki Nzambe mpo na mwana, akilaki bilei, akotaki na ndako na ye mpe akomaki kolala na mabele babutu nyonso.
David therefore besought God for the child; and David fasted, and went in, and lay all night upon the earth.
17 Bakambi ya ndako na ye bayaki kotelema pembeni na ye mpo na kotelemisa ye wuta na mabele, kasi aboyaki mpe andimaki te kolia bilei elongo na bango.
And the elders of his house arose, and went to him, to raise him from the earth: but he would not, neither did he eat bread with them.
18 Na mokolo ya sambo, mwana akufaki. Basali ya Davidi babangaki koyebisa ye ete mwana akufi, pamba te bazalaki komilobela: « Wana mwana azalaki nanu na bomoi, tango tolobaki na Davidi, ayokaki biso te. Awa sik’oyo mwana akufi, tokoloba na ye ndenge nini? Soki toyebisi ye sik’oyo ete mwana akufi, akoki kosala likambo moko ya mabe! »
And it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died. And the servants of David feared to tell him that the child was dead: for they said, Behold, while the child was yet alive, we spoke to him, and he would not hearken to our voice: how will he then be grieved, if we tell him that the child is dead?
19 Davidi amonaki basali na ye koloba na se se kati na bango, mpe asosolaki ete mwana akufi. Atunaki: — Boni, mwana akufi? Bazongisaki: — Iyo, akufi.
But when David saw that his servants whispered, David perceived that the child was dead: therefore David said to his servants, Is the child dead? And they said, He is dead.
20 Bongo Davidi atelemaki wuta na mabele, amisukolaki nzoto, amipakolaki malasi, alataki bilamba mosusu, akotaki na Tempelo ya Yawe mpe agumbamaki mpo na kosambela. Sima, azongaki na ndako na ye, asengaki bilei mpe aliaki.
Then David arose from the earth, and washed, and anointed himself, and changed his apparel, and came into the house of the LORD, and worshipped: then he came to his own house; and when he required, they set food before him, and he ate.
21 Basali na ye batunaki: — Mpo na nini ozali kosala boye? Wana mwana azalaki na bomoi, ozalaki komilalisa nzala mpe ozalaki kolela; awa sik’oyo mwana akufi, otelemi mpe okomi kolia!
Then said his servants to him, What thing is this that thou hast done? thou didst fast and weep for the child, while he was alive; but after the child was dead, thou didst rise and eat bread.
22 Azongisaki: — Solo, wana mwana azalaki nanu na bomoi, nazalaki kokila bilei mpe kolela, pamba te nazalaki komilobela: « Nani ayebi? Tango mosusu Yawe akosalela ngai ngolu mpe akotika mwana na bomoi! »
And he said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether GOD will be gracious to me, that the child may live?
23 Kasi lokola sik’oyo akufi, mpo na nini nakila bilei? Boni, nakoki kozongisa ye lisusu na bomoi? Ngai nde nakokende epai na ye, kasi ye akozonga epai na ngai te.
But now he is dead, why should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.
24 Bongo Davidi abondisaki mwasi na ye, Batisheba; akendeki epai na ye mpe asangisaki na ye nzoto. Batisheba abotelaki ye lisusu mwana mobali mpe apesaki ye kombo « Salomo. » Yawe alingaki ye
And David comforted Bathsheba his wife, and went in to her, and lay with her: and she bore a son, and he called his name Solomon: and the LORD loved him.
25 mpe atindaki maloba na nzela ya mosakoli Natan ete bapesa ye kombo « Yedidia, » pamba te Yawe alingaki ye.
And he sent by the hand of Nathan the prophet; and he called his name Jedidiah, because of the LORD.
26 Joabi abundisaki engumba Raba ya bato ya Amoni mpe abotolaki mboka mokonzi.
And Joab fought against Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and took the royal city.
27 Joabi atindaki bantoma koloba na Davidi: « Nabundisi Raba mpe nabotoli eteni ya mabele epai wapi mayi ezali.
And Joab sent messengers to David, and said, I have fought against Rabbah, and have taken the city of waters.
28 Sik’oyo, sangisa basoda oyo batikali, bozingela engumba Raba mpe bokamata yango; soki te nakokamata yango ngai moko, mpe kombo na ngai ekosakolama kuna. »
Now therefore gather the rest of the people together, and encamp against the city, and take it: lest I take the city, and it be called after my name.
29 Davidi asangisaki mampinga nyonso mpe akendeki na Raba, abundisaki mpe akamataki yango.
And David gathered all the people together, and went to Rabbah, and fought against it, and took it.
30 Alongolaki motole oyo ezalaki na moto ya mokonzi na yango. Motole yango esalemaki na bakilo ya wolo koleka tuku misato mpe ezalaki na libanga ya talo na likolo na yango. Wuta na tango wana, ekomaki na moto ya Davidi. Akamataki bomengo ebele ya bitumba kati na engumba yango.
And he took their king’s crown from off his head, the weight of which was a talent of gold with the precious stones: and it was set on David’s head. And he brought forth the spoil of the city in great abundance.
31 Amemaki na bowumbu bato oyo bazalaki kuna, atiaki bango na misala oyo basalaka na si, na piki mpe na epasola; atiaki bango mpe na mosala ya kosala babiliki. Davidi asalaki ndenge wana na bavandi ya bingumba nyonso ya bato ya Amoni. Bongo azongaki na Yelusalemi elongo na mampinga na ye nyonso.
And he brought forth the people that were in it, and put them under saws, and under harrows of iron, and under axes of iron, and made them pass through the brickkiln: and thus he did to all the cities of the children of Ammon. So David and all the people returned to Jerusalem.
