Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him, "Put your belt on your waist, take this vial of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth Gilead.
2 Tango okokoma kuna, luka Jewu, mwana mobali ya Jozafati mpe koko ya Nimishi. Kende epai na ye, benda ye pembeni, mosika ya baninga na ye, mpe mema ye na shambre ya kati.
When you come there, find Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from among his brothers, and carry him to an inner room.
3 Bongo okozwa molangi, okosopa mafuta na moto na ye mpe okoloba: ‹ Tala liloba oyo Yawe alobi: Napakoli yo mafuta oyo mpo ete okoma mokonzi ya Isalaele. › Sima, okofungola ekuke mpe okokima; kozela te! »
Then take the vial of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, 'Thus says the LORD, "I have anointed you king over Israel."' Then open the door, flee, and do not wait."
4 Boye elenge mobali, mosakoli, akendeki na Ramoti ya Galadi.
So the young prophet went to Ramoth Gilead.

When he came, look, the captains of the army were sitting. Then he said, "I have a message for you, captain." Jehu said, "To which of us all?" He said, "To you, O captain."
6 Jewu atelemaki mpe akotaki na ndako. Bongo mosakoli apakolaki mafuta na moto ya Jewu mpe alobaki: « Tala makambo oyo Yawe, Nzambe ya Isalaele, alobi: ‹ Napakoli yo mafuta oyo mpo ete okoma mokonzi ya Isalaele, bato ya Yawe. ›
He arose, and went into the house. Then he poured the oil on his head, and said to him, "Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, 'I have anointed you king over the people of the LORD, even over Israel.
7 Osengeli koboma libota ya Akabi, mokonzi na yo, mpe nakozongisa mabe na mabe mpo na makila ya bawumbu na ngai, basakoli, mpe ya bawumbu nyonso ya Yawe, oyo Jezabeli asopaki makila na bango.
You shall strike the house of Ahab your master, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel.
8 Solo, libota nyonso ya Akabi esengeli kokufa. Nakosilisa mibali nyonso kati na Isalaele, ezala mowumbu to monsomi.
For the whole house of Ahab shall perish. I will cut off from Ahab everyone who urinates against a wall, both him who is shut up and him who is left at large in Israel.
9 Nakosala libota ya Akabi ndenge nasalaki libota ya Jeroboami, mwana mobali ya Nebati, mpe libota ya Baesha, mwana mobali ya Ayiya.
I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah.
10 Nzokande mpo na Jezabeli, bambwa ekolia ye kati na bilanga ya Jizireyeli, mpe moto moko te akokunda ye. » Boye mosakoli afungolaki ekuke mpe akimaki.
The dogs will eat Jezebel on the plot of ground of Jezreel, and there shall be none to bury her.'" He opened the door, and fled.
11 Tango Jewu abimaki mpe azongaki epai ya baninga na ye, bakonzi ya basoda, moko kati na bango atunaki ye: — Boni, makambo nyonso ezali malamu? Mpo na nini moto ya liboma oyo ayaki epai na yo? Jewu azongisaki: — Boyebi malamu moto yango mpe lolenge ya makambo oyo alobaka.
Then Jehu came forth to the servants of his lord: and one said to him, "Is all well? Why did this mad fellow come to you?" He said to them, "You know the man and what his talk was."
12 Bakonzi ya basoda balobaki: — Ezali ya solo te, ozali kokosa biso! Yebisa biso makambo yango. Jewu alobaki: — Boyoka ndenge alobi na ngai: « Tala liloba oyo Yawe alobi: ‹ Napakoli yo mafuta mpo ete okoma mokonzi ya Isalaele. › »
They said, "That is a lie. Tell us now." He said, "He said to me, 'Thus says the LORD, I have anointed you king over Israel.'"
13 Tango kaka bayokaki bongo, bakonzi ya basoda bakamataki na lombangu bakazaka na bango mpe batandaki yango liboso ya Jewu, na binyatelo ya ematelo. Bongo babetaki kelelo mpe bagangaki: « Jewu azali mokonzi! »
Then they hurried, and took every man his garment, and put it under him on the top of the stairs, and blew the trumpet, saying, "Jehu is king."
14 Jewu, mwana mobali ya Jozafati, koko ya Nimishi, asalelaki Yorami likita. Nzokande Yorami mpe Isalaele mobimba bazalaki kobundela Ramoti ya Galadi liboso ya Azaeli, mokonzi ya Siri.
So Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi conspired against Joram. (Now Joram was keeping Ramoth Gilead, he and all Israel, because of Hazael king of Aram;
15 Kasi mokonzi Yorami azongaki na Jizireyeli mpo na kokawusa bapota oyo bato ya Arami bazokisaki ye na bitumba na Azaeli, mokonzi ya Siri. Jewu alobaki: « Soki yango ezali makanisi na bino, tika ete moto moko te akima mpe abima na engumba mpo na kokende kopesa sango na Jizireyeli. »
but king Joram was returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Arameans had given him, when he fought with Hazael king of Aram.) Jehu said, "If this is your thinking, then let no one escape and go out of the city, to go to tell it in Jezreel."

So Jehu rode in a chariot, and went to Jezreel; for Joram lay there. Ahaziah king of Judah had come down to see Joram.
17 Tango mokengeli oyo azalaki na likolo ya ndako molayi ya Jizireyeli amonaki mampinga ya Jewu kopusana, agangaki: « Nazali komona mampinga, bazali koya! » Yorami apesaki mitindo: — Bopona soda moko oyo abundaka likolo ya mpunda mpe botinda ye mpo ete akende kokutana na bango mpe atuna bango: « Boni, boyei mpo na kimia? »
Now the watchman was standing on the tower in Jezreel, and he spied the company of Jehu as he came, and said, "I see a company." Joram said, "Take a horseman, and send to meet them, and let him say, 'Is it peace?'"
18 Soda oyo abundaka likolo ya mpunda akendeki mpe atunaki: — Tala makambo oyo mokonzi alobi: « Boni, boyei mpo na kimia? » Jewu azongisaki: — Okokende na kimia wapi? Baluka mpe kota na molongo na ngai. Mokengeli alobaki: — Motindami akomi epai na bango, kasi azali kozonga te.
So there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, "Thus says the king, 'Is it peace?'" Jehu said, "What do you have to do with peace? Fall in behind me." The watchman said, "The messenger came to them, but he isn't coming back."
19 Boye mokonzi atindaki soda mosusu oyo abundaka likolo ya mpunda. Tango akomaki epai na bango, alobaki: — Boni, boyei mpo na kimia? Jewu azongisaki: — Okokende na kimia wapi? Baluka mpe kota na molongo na ngai.
Then he sent out a second on horseback, who came to them, and said, "Thus says the king, 'Is it peace?'" Jehu answered, "What do you have to do with peace? Fall in behind me."
20 Mokengeli alobaki: — Motindami akomi penza epai na bango, kasi ye mpe azali kozonga te. Nzokande, lolenge oyo ya kotambolisa ezali lokola ya Jewu, mwana mobali ya Nimishi, oyo atambolisaka lokola moto ya liboma.
The watchman said, "He came to them, and isn't coming back. The driving is like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi; for he drives furiously."
21 Yorami apesaki mitindo: « Bongisa shar na ngai. » Tango babongisaki shar, Yorami, mokonzi ya Isalaele, mpe Akazia, mokonzi ya Yuda, babimaki, moto na moto likolo ya shar na ye, mpo na kokende kokutana na Jewu. Bakutanaki na ye kati na bilanga ya Naboti, moto ya Jizireyeli.
Joram said, "Get ready." They got his chariot ready. Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot, and they went out to meet Jehu, and found him in the portion of Naboth the Jezreelite.
22 Tango kaka Yorami amonaki Jewu, atunaki ye: — Boni Jewu, oyei mpo na kimia? Jewu azongisaki: — Ndenge nini kimia ekoki kozala na tango losambo ya banzambe ya bikeko mpe kindoki ya mama na yo, Jezabeli, ezali kokoba?
It happened, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, "Is it peace, Jehu?" He answered, "What peace, so long as the prostitution of your mother Jezebel and her witchcraft abound?"
23 Yorami abalukaki mpe akimaki; abelelaki Akazia: « Akazia, bateki biso! »
Joram turned his hands, and fled, and said to Ahaziah, "There is treason, Ahaziah."
24 Boye Jewu abendaki tolotolo mpe abetaki Yorami na kati-kati ya mapeka. Tolotolo etobolaki motema na ye, mpe akweyaki wuta na shar na ye.
Jehu drew his bow with his full strength, and shot Joram between his arms; and the arrow went out at his heart, and he sunk down in his chariot.
25 Jewu alobaki na Bidikari, soda oyo amemelaka ye bibundeli: « Kamata ye mpe bwaka ye na bilanga ya Naboti, moto ya Jizireyeli. Kanisa ndenge nini ngai na yo tozalaki kokumba bashar elongo, na sima ya tata na ye, Akabi, tango Yawe apesaki lisakoli oyo na tina na ye:
Then Jehu said to Bidkar his captain, "Pick him up, and throw him in the plot of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite; for I remember how when you and I rode together behind Ahab his father, the LORD pronounced this judgment on him:
26 ‹ Lobi, namonaki makila ya Naboti mpe ya bana na ye ya mibali, › elobi Yawe, mpe solo, nakofutisa yo yango na bilanga oyo, » elobi Yawe. Sik’oyo, kamata ye mpe bwaka ye na bilanga wana, kolanda Liloba na Yawe.
'Surely I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sons,' says the LORD; 'and I will repay you in this plot of ground,' says the LORD. Now therefore take and cast him onto the plot of ground, according to the word of the LORD."
27 Tango Akazia, mokonzi ya Yuda, amonaki makambo oyo esalemaki, akimaki na nzela ya Beti-Agani. Jewu alandaki ye mpe agangaki: « Boma ye mpe lokola! » Bazokisaki ye kati na shar na ye na nzela ya Guri, pembeni ya Yibileayimi, kasi akimaki na Megido mpe akufaki kuna.
But when Ahaziah the king of Judah saw this, he fled by the way of the garden house. Jehu followed after him, and said, "Shoot him also." And they shot him in the chariot at the ascent of Gur, which is by Ibleam. He fled to Megiddo, and died there.
28 Basali na ye bamemaki ye na shar kino na Yelusalemi mpe bakundaki ye esika moko na bakoko na ye kati na kunda na ye kati na engumba ya Davidi.
His servants carried him in a chariot to Jerusalem, and buried him in his tomb with his fathers in the City of David.
29 Akazia akomaki mokonzi ya Yuda na mobu ya zomi na moko ya bokonzi ya Yorami, mwana mobali ya Akabi.
In the eleventh year of Joram the son of Ahab began Ahaziah to reign over Judah.
30 Jewu akendeki na Jizireyeli. Tango Jezabeli ayokaki bongo, atiaki monzele na elongi na ye, abongisaki suki na ye mpe apusanaki pene ya lininisa mpo na kotala libanda.
When Jehu had come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her eyes, and attired her head, and looked out at the window.
31 Tango Jewu akotaki na ekuke ya engumba, Jezabeli atunaki na koganga: — Zimiri, mobomi ya nkolo na yo, boni, oyei mpo na kimia?
As Jehu entered in at the gate, she said, "Do you come in peace, Zimri, you murderer of your master?"
32 Jewu atombolaki miso na ngambo ya lininisa mpe agangaki: — Nani kati na bino azali na ngambo na ngai, nani? Bakengeli mibale to misato ya mokonzi, oyo baboma bango mokongo, batalaki Jewu wuta na lininisa.
He lifted up his face to the window, and said, "Who is on my side? Who?" Two or three eunuchs looked out at him.
33 Jewu apesaki bango mitindo: — Bobwaka ye na se. Bongo babwakaki Jezabeli na se; mpe makila na ye epanzanaki na mir mpe na bampunda tango ezalaki konyata ye.
He said, "Throw her down." So they threw her down; and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses. Then he trampled her under foot.
34 Jewu akotaki, aliaki, amelaki mpe alobaki: « Bobongisa mwasi oyo alakelama mabe. Bokunda ye, pamba te azali mwana mwasi ya mokonzi. »
When he had come in, he ate and drink; and he said, "See now to this cursed woman, and bury her; for she is a king's daughter."
35 Kasi tango babimaki mpo na kokunda ye, bakutaki kaka mokuwa ya moto na ye, makolo mpe matandu ya maboko na ye.
They went to bury her; but they found no more of her than the skull, and the feet, and the palms of her hands.
36 Bazongaki mpe bayebisaki Jewu: « Tala liloba oyo Yawe alobaki na nzela ya mosali na Ye, Eliya, moto ya mboka Tishibe: ‹ Bambwa ekolia nzoto ya Jezabeli kati na elanga ya Jizireyeli.
Therefore they came back, and told him. He said, "This is the word of the LORD, which he spoke by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, 'The dogs will eat the flesh of Jezebel on the plot of Jezreel,
37 Ebembe ya Jezabeli ekozala lokola nyei kati na bilanga ya Jizireyeli mpo ete moto moko te akoka lisusu koloba: Tala Jezabeli! › »
and the body of Jezebel shall be as dung on the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel, so that they shall not say, "This is Jezebel."'"
