1 Manase azalaki na mibu zomi na mibale ya mbotama tango akomaki mokonzi, mpe akonzaki mibu tuku mitano na mitano na Yelusalemi. Kombo ya mama na ye ezalaki « Efitsiba. »
Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign; he reigned fifty-five years in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Hephzibah.

He did what was evil in the sight of Yahweh, like the disgusting things of the nations whom Yahweh had driven out before the people of Israel.

He built altars for all the stars of heaven in the two courtyards of the house of Yahweh.
6 Abonzaki na moto, lokola mbeka, mwana na ye ya mobali; asalelaki kindoki, soloka mpe maji. Atiaki na mosala bato oyo basololaka na milimo ya bakufi mpe bamoni makambo. Akobaki kosala makambo mabe na miso ya Yawe; mpe, na bongo, apelisaki kanda ya Yawe.

9 Kasi bato ya Isalaele batosaki te. Manase apengwisaki bango, mpe basalaki lisusu mabe koleka bikolo oyo Yawe abebisaki liboso ya bato ya Isalaele.
But the people did not listen, and Manasseh led them to do evil even more than the nations that Yahweh had destroyed before the people of Israel.
10 Yawe alobaki na nzela ya basali na ye, basakoli:
So Yahweh spoke by his servants the prophets, saying,
11 « Lokola Manase, mokonzi ya Yuda, asalaki makambo ya nkele, lokola asalaki makambo mabe koleka ata bato ya Amori oyo bazalaki liboso na ye, mpe lokola apengwisaki Yuda na nzela ya banzambe na ye ya bikeko,
“Because Manasseh king of Judah has done these disgusting things, and has acted wickedly more than all that the Amorites who were before him did, and has also made Judah sin with his idols,
12 tala makambo oyo Yawe, Nzambe ya Isalaele, alobi: ‹ Nakoyeisa kati na Yelusalemi mpe kati na Yuda pasi oyo ekozala lokola kake na matoyi ya moto nyonso oyo akoyoka sango na yango.
therefore Yahweh, the God of Israel, says this: Look, I am about to bring such evil on Jerusalem and Judah that whoever hears of it, both his ears will tingle.
13 Nakobebisa Yelusalemi ndenge nabebisaki Samari, mpe nakokomisa yango lokola ndako ya Akabi. Nakonika Yelusalemi ndenge banikaka mpe babalolaka nzungu.
I will stretch over Jerusalem the measuring line used against Samaria, and the plumb line used against the house of Ahab; I will wipe Jerusalem clean, as a man wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.
14 Nakosundola ndambo ya libula na Ngai oyo ekotikala, nakokaba bango na maboko ya banguna na bango. Banguna na bango bakobebisa bango mpe bakobotola biloko na bango,
I will throw off the remnant of my inheritance and give them into the hand of their enemies. They will become victims and plunder for all their enemies,
15 pamba te basalaki mabe na miso na Ngai mpe bapelisaki kanda na Ngai, wuta na mokolo oyo batata na bango babimaki na Ejipito kino na mokolo ya lelo. › »
because they have done what is evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their ancestors came out of Egypt, to this day.”
16 Mpe lisusu, Manase asopaki makila ya bato oyo bayebi likambo te mpe atondisaki Yelusalemi na makila yango na bisika nyonso —kotanga te masumu oyo apengwisaki na yango Yuda mpo na kosala mabe na miso ya Yawe.
Moreover, Manasseh shed much innocent blood, until he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another with death. This was in addition to the sin by which he made Judah to sin, when they did what was evil in the sight of Yahweh.
17 Makambo mosusu oyo etali bokonzi ya Manase, misala na ye nyonso mpe masumu oyo asalaki, ekomama kati na buku ya masolo ya bakonzi ya Yuda.
As for the other matters concerning Manasseh, all that he did, and the sin that he committed, are they not written in the book of the events of the kings of Judah?
18 Manase akendeki kokutana na bakoko na ye, mpe bakundaki ye na elanga ya ndako na ye ya bokonzi, oyo babengaka elanga ya Uza. Amoni, mwana na ye ya mobali, akitanaki na ye na bokonzi.
Manasseh slept with his ancestors and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza. Amon his son became king in his place.
19 Amoni azalaki na mibu tuku mibale na mibale ya mbotama tango akomaki mokonzi, mpe akonzaki mibu mibale na Yelusalemi. Kombo ya mama na ye ezalaki « Meshulemeti. » Meshulemeti azalaki mwana mwasi ya Arutsi, moto ya Yotiba.
Amon was twenty-two years old when he began to reign; he reigned two years in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Meshullemeth; she was the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.
20 Amoni asalaki makambo mabe na miso ya Yawe, ndenge kaka Manase, tata na ye, asalaki.
He did what was evil in the sight of Yahweh, as Manasseh his father had done.
21 Atambolaki na banzela nyonso ya tata na ye, na kosambelaka banzambe ya bikeko oyo tata na ye asambelaki mpe agumbamelaki.
Amon followed in all the way that his father had walked in and worshiped the idols that his father worshiped, and bowed down to them.
22 Asundolaki Yawe, Nzambe ya batata na ye, mpe atambolaki na banzela ya Yawe te.
He abandoned Yahweh, the God of his fathers, and did not walk in the way of Yahweh.
23 Bakalaka ya Amoni basalelaki ye likita mpe babomaki ye kati na ndako na ye ya bokonzi.
The servants of Amon conspired against him and put the king to death in his own house.
24 Bongo bato ya mokili babomaki bato nyonso oyo basalelaki mokonzi Amoni likita mpe bakomisaki Joziasi, mwana na ye ya mobali, mokonzi na esika na ye.
But the people of the land killed all those who had conspired against King Amon, and they made Josiah his son king in his place.
25 Makambo mosusu oyo etali bokonzi ya Amoni, ekomama kati na buku ya masolo ya bakonzi ya Yuda.
As for the other matters concerning Amon that he did, are they not written in the book of the events of the kings of Judah?
26 Bakundaki ye kati na kunda na ye, kati na elanga ya Uza; mpe Joziasi, mwana na ye ya mobali, akitanaki na ye na bokonzi.
The people buried him in his tomb in the garden of Uzza, and Josiah his son became king in his place.
