2 Bakonzi 2
1 Tango Yawe akomaki pene ya konetola Eliya na likolo na nzela ya mopepe makasi, Eliya mpe Elize balongwaki na Giligali.
And it came to pass, when the LORD would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.
2 Eliya alobaki na Elize: — Nabondeli yo, tikala awa; pamba te Yawe atindi ngai na Beteli. Elize azongisaki: — Na Kombo na Yawe mpe na kombo na yo, nakotika yo te! Boye bakendeki na Beteli.
And Elijah said to Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Beth-el. And Elisha said, [As] the LORD liveth, and [as] thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Beth-el.
3 Bayekoli ya basakoli, oyo bazalaki kovanda na Beteli, bayaki epai ya Elize mpe batunaki ye: — Oyebi ete lelo, Yawe akonetola mokonzi na yo na esika oyo ozali? Elize azongisaki: — Solo, nayebi yango, kasi bovanda nye!
And the sons of the prophets that [were] at Beth-el came forth to Elisha, and said to him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to-day? And he said, Yes, I know [it]; hold ye your peace.
4 Eliya alobaki na Elize: — Tikala awa; Yawe atindi ngai na Jeriko. Elize azongisaki: — Na Kombo na Yawe mpe na kombo na yo, nakotika yo te! Boye bakendeki na Jeriko.
And Elijah said to him, Elisha, tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Jericho. And he said, [As] the LORD liveth, and [as] thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they came to Jericho.
5 Bayekoli ya basakoli, oyo bazalaki kovanda na Jeriko bayaki epai ya Elize mpe batunaki ye: — Oyebi ete lelo, Yawe akonetola mokonzi na yo na esika oyo ozali? Elize azongisaki: — Solo, nayebi yango, kasi bovanda nye!

And Elijah said to him, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Jordan. And he said, [As] the LORD liveth, and [as] thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And they two went on.
7 Bayekoli tuku mitano ya basakoli bakendeki kotelema mosika ya esika oyo Eliya mpe Elize batelemaki, na ebale Yordani.
And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went, and stood to view afar off: and they two stood by Jordan.
8 Eliya alongolaki kazaka na ye, agumbaki yango mpe abetaki yango na mayi ya ebale. Mayi ekabwanaki na ngambo ya loboko ya mobali mpe na ngambo ya loboko ya mwasi, mpe bango mibale bakatisaki.
And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped [it] together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground.
9 Tango bakatisaki, Eliya alobaki na Elize: — Yebisa ngai nasala nini mpo na yo liboso ete Yawe alongola ngai liboso na yo. Elize azongisaki: — Tika ete nazwa nguya ya molimo na yo mbala mibale.
And it came to pass, when they had gone over, that Elijah said to Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I am taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.
10 Eliya alobaki: — Osengi ngai eloko ya pasi, kasi soki okomona ngai wana Yawe akolongola ngai liboso na yo, okozwa yango; soki te, okozwa yango te.
And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: [nevertheless], if thou shalt see me [when I am] taken from thee, it shall be so to thee; but if not, it shall not be [so].
11 Wana bazalaki kotambola mpe kosolola, mbala moko shar ya moto mpe bampunda ya moto ekabolaki bango mibale; mpe Eliya amataki na likolo na nzela ya mopepe makasi.
And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that behold, [there appeared] a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
12 Tango Elize amonaki bongo, agangaki: « Tata na ngai! Tata na ngai! Yo nde ozali lokola shar ya Isalaele mpe batambolisi na yango! » Bongo Elize amonaki ye lisusu te. Boye akangaki bilamba na ye mpe apasolaki yango na biteni mibale.
And Elisha saw [it], and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces.
13 Alokotaki kazaka ya Eliya, oyo ekweyaki wuta na mapeka na ye, azongaki mpe atelemaki na ngambo ya ebale Yordani.
He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan;
14 Azwaki kazaka ya Eliya, abetaki yango na mayi mpe alobaki: « Wapi sik’oyo Yawe, Nzambe ya Eliya? » Tango Elize abetaki kazaka yango na mayi, mayi ya ebale ekabwanaki na ngambo ya loboko ya mobali mpe na ngambo ya loboko ya mwasi.
And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where [is] the LORD God of Elijah? And when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over.
15 Bayekoli ya basakoli, oyo bawutaki na Jeriko bamonaki mpe balobaki: « Molimo ya Eliya evandi sik’oyo likolo ya Elize! » Bakendeki kokutana na ye mpe bagumbamaki liboso na ye kino na mabele.
And when the sons of the prophets who [were] to view at Jericho, saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.
16 Balobaki: — Tala biso basali na yo, tozali na mibali ya mpiko tuku mitano. Tika ete baluka mokonzi na yo, tango mosusu Molimo na Yawe amemi ye mpe abwaki ye na ngomba to na lubwaku. Elize azongisaki: — Te, botinda bango te!
And they said to him, Behold now, there are with thy servants fifty strong men; let them go, we pray thee, and seek thy master: lest perhaps the Spirit of the LORD hath taken him up, and cast him upon some mountain, or into some valley. And he said, Ye shall not send.
17 Kasi batungisaki Elize makasi kino ayokaki soni mpo na koboya. Boye alobaki: — Botinda bango. Mpe batindaki mibali tuku mitano oyo balukaki Eliya mikolo misato, kasi batikalaki komona ye te.
And when they urged him till he was ashamed, he said, Send. They sent therefore fifty men; and they sought three days, but found him not.
18 Tango bazongaki epai ya Elize oyo atikalaki na Jeriko, Elize alobaki na bango: — Napekisaki bino te kokende?
And when they came again to him, (for he tarried at Jericho, ) he said to them, Did I not say to you, Go not?
19 Bato ya engumba ya Jeriko bayebisaki Elize: — Oh nkolo! Engumba na biso etongami na esika ya malamu ndenge ozali komona yango, kasi mayi ezali mabe mpe mabele ebotaka te.
And the men of the city said to Elisha, Behold, I pray thee, the situation of this city [is] pleasant, as my lord seeth: but the water [is] bad, and the ground barren.
20 Elize alobaki: — Bomemela ngai sani ya moke ya sika mpe botia mungwa na kati. Bamemelaki ye yango
And he said, Bring me a new cruse, and put salt therein. And they brought [it] to him.
21 mpe akendeki na etima, abwakaki kuna mungwa mpe alobaki: « Tala liloba oyo Yawe alobi: ‹ Napetoli mayi oyo; ekoyeisa lisusu kufa te mpe ekobebisa lisusu mabele te mpo ete ebota mbuma. › »
And he went forth to the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren [land].
22 Boye mayi etikala peto kino na mokolo ya lelo, kolanda liloba oyo Elize abimisaki.
So the waters were healed to this day, according to the saying of Elisha which he spoke.
23 Longwa kuna na Jeriko, Elize akendeki na Beteli. Wana azalaki kotambola na nzela, bilenge mibali babimaki wuta na engumba mpe bazalaki kotiola ye; bazalaki koloba: « Moto na libandi, longwa awa! Moto na libandi, longwa awa! »
And he went up from thence to Beth-el: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said to him, Go up, thou bald-head; go up, thou bald-head.
24 Abalukaki, atalaki bango mpe alakelaki bango mabe na Kombo na Yawe. Boye, bangombolo mibale ebimaki na zamba mpe epasolaki bana tuku minei na mibale kati na bango.
And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tore forty and two children of them.
25 Longwa wana Elize akendeki na ngomba Karimeli; mpe longwa kuna, azongaki na Samari.
And he went from thence to mount Carmel, and from thence he returned to Samaria.
