1 Tango mwasi mokonzi ya Saba ayokaki sango ya lokumu ya Salomo, ayaki na Yelusalemi mpo na komeka ye na nzela ya mituna ya makasi; ayaki elongo na bato ebele mpe bashamo oyo ememaki biloko ya mike-mike oyo epesaka solo kitoko, wolo ebele mpe mabanga ya talo. Tango akomaki epai ya Salomo, ayebisaki ye nyonso oyo azalaki na yango kati na motema.
When the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to test Solomon with hard questions at Jerusalem, with a very great caravan, including camels that bore spices, gold in abundance, and precious stones. When she had come to Solomon, she talked with him about all that was in her heart.
2 Salomo apesaki ye biyano na mituna na ye nyonso; ezalaki ata na motuna moko te oyo Salomo alongaki te kopesa eyano.

3 Tango mwasi mokonzi ya Saba amonaki bwanya ya Salomo, ndako oyo atongaki,
When the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, the house that he had built,

However I didn’t believe their words until I came, and my eyes had seen it; and behold half of the greatness of your wisdom wasn’t told me. You exceed the fame that I heard!
7 Esengo na bato na yo, esengo na basali na yo, oyo batelemaka tango nyonso liboso na yo mpe bayokaka maloba na yo, oyo etonda na bwanya!
Happy are your men, and happy are these your servants, who stand continually before you and hear your wisdom.
8 Tika ete Yawe, Nzambe na yo, apambolama; Ye oyo asepelaki na yo mpe atiaki yo na kiti na Ye ya bokonzi lokola mokonzi mpo na kosalela Yawe, Nzambe na yo! Ezali mpo ete Nzambe na yo alingaka Isalaele mpe alingi ete ewumela mpo na libela nde atiaki yo lokola mokonzi na yango, mpo ete osala na bosolo mpe na bosembo. »
Blessed be the LORD your God, who delighted in you and set you on his throne to be king for the LORD your God, because your God loved Israel, to establish them forever. Therefore he made you king over them, to do justice and righteousness.”
9 Mwasi mokonzi ya Saba apesaki mokonzi Salomo bakilo nkoto misato na nkama mitano ya wolo, biloko ebele penza ya solo kitoko mpe mabanga ya talo. Etikala lisusu kozala te na biloko ebele ya solo kitoko lokola biloko oyo mwasi mokonzi ya Saba amemelaki mokonzi Salomo.
She gave the king one hundred and twenty talents of gold, spices in great abundance, and precious stones. There was never before such spice as the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.
10 Lisusu, basali ya Irami mpe ya Salomo, oyo bamemaki wolo wuta na Ofiri bamemaki mpe mabaya ya santale mpe mabanga ya talo.

12 Na ngambo na ye, mokonzi Salomo apesaki na mwasi mokonzi ya Saba biloko nyonso oyo azalaki na yango posa mpe oyo asengaki, koleka kutu biloko oyo amemelaki mokonzi. Sima na yango, mwasi mokonzi ya Saba azongaki elongo na basali na ye, na mokili na ye.
King Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatever she asked, more than that which she had brought to the king. So she turned and went to her own land, she and her servants.
13 Mobu na mobu, Salomo azalaki kozwa bakilo ya wolo nkoto tuku mibale,
Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold,

Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen that he stationed in the chariot cities and with the king at Jerusalem.
26 Azalaki likolo ya bakonzi nyonso, longwa na Ebale (Efrate) kino na mokili ya bato ya Filisitia mpe na mondelo ya Ejipito.
He ruled over all the kings from the River even to the land of the Philistines, and to the border of Egypt.
27 Mokonzi asalaki ete palata ekoma ebele kati na Yelusalemi lokola mabanga, mpe banzete ya sedele ekoma ebele lokola banzete ya sikomori oyo ezali kati na mokili ya lubwaku.
The king made silver as common in Jerusalem as stones, and he made cedars to be as abundant as the sycamore trees that are in the lowland.
28 Bampunda ya Salomo ezalaki kowuta na Ejipito mpe na mikili mosusu.
They brought horses for Solomon out of Egypt and out of all lands.
29 Makambo mosusu oyo etali bokonzi ya Salomo, kobanda na ebandeli kino na suka, ekomama kati na buku ya misala ya mosakoli Natan, ya mosakoli Ayiya, moto ya Silo; mpe kati na buku ya bimoniseli ya Yedo, momoni makambo, na tina na Jeroboami, mwana mobali ya Nebati.
Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, aren’t they written in the history of Nathan the prophet, and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of Iddo the seer concerning Jeroboam the son of Nebat?

Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years.

Solomon slept with his fathers, and he was buried in his father David’s city; and Rehoboam his son reigned in his place.
