1 Tango mwasi mokonzi ya Saba ayokaki sango ya lokumu ya Salomo, ayaki na Yelusalemi mpo na komeka ye na nzela ya mituna ya makasi; ayaki elongo na bato ebele mpe bashamo oyo ememaki biloko ya mike-mike oyo epesaka solo kitoko, wolo ebele mpe mabanga ya talo. Tango akomaki epai ya Salomo, ayebisaki ye nyonso oyo azalaki na yango kati na motema.
Also, when the queen of Sheba had heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to Jerusalem, with great riches and with camels which were carrying aromatics, and very much gold, and precious gems, so that she might test him with enigmas. And when she had approached Solomon, she spoke to him all that was in her heart.
2 Salomo apesaki ye biyano na mituna na ye nyonso; ezalaki ata na motuna moko te oyo Salomo alongaki te kopesa eyano.
And Solomon explained for her all that she had proposed. And there was nothing that he did not make clear to her.
3 Tango mwasi mokonzi ya Saba amonaki bwanya ya Salomo, ndako oyo atongaki,
And after she saw these things, specifically, the wisdom of Solomon, and the house which he had built,
4 bilei oyo azalaki kolia na mesa na ye, ndako ya basali na ye, esaleli mpe elateli ya basali na ye, basali oyo bapesaka ye masanga mpe bambeka ya kotumba oyo azalaki kobonza kati na Tempelo ya Yawe, mwasi mokonzi ya Saba akamwaki makasi.
indeed also the foods of his table, and the habitations of the servants, and the duties of his ministers, and their apparel, and also his cupbearers and their garments, and the victims which he was immolating in the house of the Lord, there was no longer any spirit in her, due to astonishment.
5 Alobaki na mokonzi: « Makambo oyo nayokaki wuta na mokili na ngai na tina na misala mpe na bwanya na yo ezali ya solo!
And she said to the king: “The word is true, which I had heard in my own land, about your virtues and wisdom.
6 Nandimaki te makambo oyo bazalaki koloba na tina na yango kino tango ngai moko nayei mpe namoni yango na miso na ngai moko. Nzokande, kolanda oyo ngai namoni, makambo oyo bayebisaki ngai te na tina na bwanya yango ezali penza kati-kati! Solo, oleki sango ya lokumu oyo nayokaki na tina na yo!
I did not believe those who described it, until I had arrived and my eyes had seen, and I had proven that not even half of your wisdom had been described to me. You have exceeded your fame with your virtue.
7 Esengo na bato na yo, esengo na basali na yo, oyo batelemaka tango nyonso liboso na yo mpe bayokaka maloba na yo, oyo etonda na bwanya!
Blessed are your men, and blessed are your servants, who stand before you at all times and listen to your wisdom.
8 Tika ete Yawe, Nzambe na yo, apambolama; Ye oyo asepelaki na yo mpe atiaki yo na kiti na Ye ya bokonzi lokola mokonzi mpo na kosalela Yawe, Nzambe na yo! Ezali mpo ete Nzambe na yo alingaka Isalaele mpe alingi ete ewumela mpo na libela nde atiaki yo lokola mokonzi na yango, mpo ete osala na bosolo mpe na bosembo. »
Blessed is the Lord your God, who willed to set you upon his throne as a king for the Lord your God. Since God loves Israel, he wishes to preserve them unto eternity. For this reason, he appointed you as king over them, so that you may accomplish judgment and justice.”
9 Mwasi mokonzi ya Saba apesaki mokonzi Salomo bakilo nkoto misato na nkama mitano ya wolo, biloko ebele penza ya solo kitoko mpe mabanga ya talo. Etikala lisusu kozala te na biloko ebele ya solo kitoko lokola biloko oyo mwasi mokonzi ya Saba amemelaki mokonzi Salomo.
Then she gave to the king one hundred twenty talents of gold, and an exceedingly great abundance of aromatics, and very precious gems. Never were there such aromatics as those that the queen of Sheba gave to king Solomon.
10 Lisusu, basali ya Irami mpe ya Salomo, oyo bamemaki wolo wuta na Ofiri bamemaki mpe mabaya ya santale mpe mabanga ya talo.
Then too, the servants of Hiram, with the servants of Solomon, brought gold from Ophir, and wood from thyine trees, and very precious gems.
11 Mokonzi asalaki na mabaya wana ya santale makonzi ya Tempelo ya Yawe mpe ya ndako ya mokonzi, banzenze mpe mandanda mpo na bayembi. Batikalaki nanu komona nyonso wana te kati na mokili ya Yuda.
And the king made, from this particular thyine wood, steps in the house of the Lord, and in the house of the king, and also harps and psalteries for the singing men. Never was there seen such wood in the land of Judah.
12 Na ngambo na ye, mokonzi Salomo apesaki na mwasi mokonzi ya Saba biloko nyonso oyo azalaki na yango posa mpe oyo asengaki, koleka kutu biloko oyo amemelaki mokonzi. Sima na yango, mwasi mokonzi ya Saba azongaki elongo na basali na ye, na mokili na ye.
Then king Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all that she desired, and all that she requested, and much more than what she had brought to him. And returning, she went away to her own land with her servants.
13 Mobu na mobu, Salomo azalaki kozwa bakilo ya wolo nkoto tuku mibale,
Now the weight of the gold, which was being brought to Solomon throughout each year, was six hundred sixty-six talents of gold,
14 mbongo ya mpako ya bato ya mombongo oyo bazalaki koteka biloko oyo bazalaki kosomba na bamboka ya bapaya, mpe mbongo ya mpako ya bateki biloko ya ndenge na ndenge. Bakonzi nyonso ya Arabi mpe bayangeli ya bituka bazalaki komema wolo mpe palata epai ya Salomo.
apart from the sum that the legates of various nations and the merchants were accustomed to bring, and apart from the gold and silver that all the kings of Arabia, and the princes of the lands, were bringing together for Solomon.
15 Mokonzi Salomo asalisaki na wolo batuta banguba minene nkama mibale; nguba moko na moko esengaki bakilo motoba ya wolo.
And so, king Solomon made two hundred gold spears, from six hundred gold pieces, the amount used for each spear,

and also three hundred gold shields, from three hundred gold pieces, which covered each shield. And the king placed them in the armory, which was situated in a forest.
17 Mokonzi asalaki na pembe ya nzoko kiti moko monene ya bokonzi mpe abambaki yango wolo ya peto.
Also, the king made a great ivory throne, and he clothed it with the purest gold.
18 Kiti yango ya bokonzi ezalaki na ematelo ya binyatelo motoba, enyatelo makolo ya wolo ekanganaki na kiti. Na bangambo nyonso mibale, ezalaki na bisika ya kotia maboko, mpe bikeko mibale ya nkosi na pembeni ya bisika ya kotia maboko.
And there were six steps, by which he would ascend to the throne, and a footstool of gold, and two arms, one on each side, and two lions standing beside the arms.
19 Bikeko zomi na mibale ya nkosi ezalaki na likolo ya binyatelo motoba ya ematelo: enyatelo moko na moko ezalaki na bikeko mibale, ekeko moko na ngambo moko na moko. Kati na mikili nyonso, eloko ya ndenge wana etikala nanu kosalema te.
Moreover, there were twelve additional little lions standing upon the six steps on both sides. There was no similar throne in all the kingdoms.
20 Bakopo nyonso ya mokonzi Salomo ezalaki ya wolo, mpe biloko nyonso ya ndako ya Zamba ya Libani ezalaki ya wolo ya peto. Pamba te, na tango oyo Salomo azalaki mokonzi, palata ezalaki na motuya ata te.
Also, all the vessels for the feasts of the king were of gold, and the vessels of the forest house of Lebanon were from the purest gold. For silver in those days was considered as nothing.
21 Mokonzi azalaki na bamasuwa oyo ezalaki kokende na Tarsisi, elongo na basali ya Irami. Sima na mibu nyonso misato, bamasuwa ezalaki kozonga wuta na Tarsisi mpe ezalaki komema wolo, palata, pembe ya nzoko, bamakaku mpe bandeke oyo babengaka « Paoni. »
For indeed, the ships of the king went to Tarshish, with the servants of Hiram, once every three years. And they brought from there gold, and silver, and ivory, and primates, and peacocks.
22 Mokonzi Salomo alekaki bakonzi nyonso ya mokili na bozwi mpe na bwanya.
And so, Solomon was magnified above all the kings of the earth in wealth and glory.
23 Bakonzi nyonso ya mokili bazalaki koluka kokutana na Salomo mpo na koyoka bwanya oyo Nzambe atiaki kati na motema na ye.
And all the kings of the lands were desiring to see the face of Solomon, so that they might hear the wisdom that God had granted to his heart.
24 Moko na moko azalaki komemela ye lokola kado biloko ya palata, biloko ya wolo, bilamba, bibundeli, biloko ya mike-mike ya solo kitoko, bampunda mpe bamile. Mpe ezalaki bongo mibu nyonso.
And they were bringing to him gifts, vessels of silver and of gold, and garments, and armor, and aromatics, and horses, and mules, throughout each year.
25 Salomo azalaki na bashambre nkoto minei mpo na kobomba bampunda elongo na bashar, mpe batambolisi nkoto zomi na mibale mpo na bashar. Atiaki yango kati na bingumba ya bashar mpe epai na ye, Salomo, kati na Yelusalemi.
Also, Solomon had forty thousand horses in the stables, and twelve thousand chariots and horsemen, and he appointed them to the cities of the chariots, and where the king was in Jerusalem.
26 Azalaki likolo ya bakonzi nyonso, longwa na Ebale (Efrate) kino na mokili ya bato ya Filisitia mpe na mondelo ya Ejipito.
Now he also exercised authority over all the kings from the river Euphrates as far as the land of the Philistines, and as far as the borders of Egypt.
27 Mokonzi asalaki ete palata ekoma ebele kati na Yelusalemi lokola mabanga, mpe banzete ya sedele ekoma ebele lokola banzete ya sikomori oyo ezali kati na mokili ya lubwaku.
And he brought forth so much silver that it was as plentiful in Jerusalem as stones. And cedar trees were as great in number as the sycamores that spring up in the plains.
28 Bampunda ya Salomo ezalaki kowuta na Ejipito mpe na mikili mosusu.
And horses were brought to him from Egypt and from every region.
29 Makambo mosusu oyo etali bokonzi ya Salomo, kobanda na ebandeli kino na suka, ekomama kati na buku ya misala ya mosakoli Natan, ya mosakoli Ayiya, moto ya Silo; mpe kati na buku ya bimoniseli ya Yedo, momoni makambo, na tina na Jeroboami, mwana mobali ya Nebati.
Now the rest of the works of Solomon, the first and the last, have been written in the words of Nathan, the prophet, and in the books of Ahijah, the Shilonite, as well as in the vision of Iddo, the seer, against Jeroboam, the son of Nabat.
30 Salomo akonzaki Isalaele mobimba mibu tuku minei, na Yelusalemi.
And Solomon reigned in Jerusalem, over all of Israel, for forty years.
31 Bongo Salomo akendeki kokutana na bakoko na ye, mpe bakundaki ye kati na engumba ya Davidi, tata na ye. Mwana na ye, Roboami, akitanaki na ye na bokonzi.
And he slept with his fathers. And they buried him in the City of David. And his son, Rehoboam, reigned in his place.
