1 Bato ya mokili bazwaki Yoakazi, mwana mobali ya Joziasi, mpe bakomisaki ye mokonzi, na Yelusalemi, mpo na kokitana na tata na ye.
And the people of the land took Jehoachaz the son of Josiah, and made him king in his father's stead in Jerusalem.
2 Yoakazi azalaki na mibu tuku mibale na misato ya mbotama tango akomaki mokonzi, mpe akonzaki basanza misato na Yelusalemi.
Twenty and three years old was Joachaz when he became king, and three months did he reign in Jerusalem.
3 Mokonzi ya Ejipito alongolaki ye na bokonzi kati na Yelusalemi mpe asengaki na makasi ete mokili ya Yuda ekoma kofuta mpako mpo na mokonzi: bakilo nkoto misato na nkama minei ya palata mpe ya wolo.
And the king of Egypt deposed him at Jerusalem, and imposed a fine on the land of a hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold.
4 Mokonzi ya Ejipito akomisaki Eliakimi, ndeko mobali ya Yoakazi, mokonzi ya Yelusalemi mpe ya Yuda; abongolaki kombo na ye mpe akomisaki yango « Yeoyakimi. » Kasi Neko akangaki Yoakazi, ndeko mobali ya Yeoyakimi, mpe amemaki ye na Ejipito.
And the king of Egypt made Elyakim his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem, and changed his name to Jehoyakim. And Joachaz his brother did Necho take away, and bring him to Egypt.
5 Yeoyakimi azalaki na mibu tuku mibale na mitano ya mbotama tango akomaki mokonzi, mpe akonzaki mibu zomi na moko na Yelusalemi. Asalaki makambo mabe na miso ya Yawe, Nzambe na ye.
Twenty and five years old was Jehoyakim when he became king, and eleven years did he reign in Jerusalem: and he did what is evil in the eyes of the Lord his God.
6 Nabukodonozori, mokonzi ya Babiloni, abundisaki ye mpe akangaki ye minyololo ya bronze mpo na komema ye na Babiloni.
Against him came up Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and he bound him with fetters, to carry him away to Babylon.
7 Nabukodonozori amemaki mpe na Babiloni ndambo ya biloko ya Tempelo ya Yawe mpe atiaki yango kati na ndako na ye ya bokonzi.
And some of the vessels of the house of the Lord did Nebuchadnezzar carry to Babylon, and he placed them in his temple at Babylon.
8 Makambo mosusu oyo etali bokonzi ya Yeoyakimi, misala na ye ya nkele mpe makambo oyo ekweyelaki ye, ekomama kati na buku ya masolo ya bakonzi ya Isalaele mpe ya Yuda. Yeoyakini, mwana na ye ya mobali, akitanaki na ye na bokonzi.
And the rest of the acts of Jehoyakim, and his abominable deeds which he did, and that which was found concerning him, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah. And Jehoyachin his son became king in his stead.
9 Yeoyakini azalaki na mibu zomi na mwambe ya mbotama tango akomaki mokonzi, mpe akonzaki basanza misato mpe mikolo zomi na Yelusalemi. Asalaki makambo mabe na miso ya Yawe.
Eight years old was Jehoyachin when he became king, and three months and ten days did he reign in Jerusalem: and he did what is evil in the eyes of the Lord.
10 Na suka ya mobu, mokonzi Nabukodonozori abengisaki ye mpe amemaki ye na Babiloni elongo na biloko ya motuya ya Tempelo ya Yawe; akomisaki Sedesiasi, ndeko mobali ya Yeoyakini, mokonzi ya Yuda mpe ya Yelusalemi.
And with the expiration of the year did king Nebuchadnezzar send and had him brought to Babylon, with the costly vessels of the house of the Lord: and he made Zedekiah his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem,
11 Sedesiasi azalaki na mibu tuku mibale na moko ya mbotama tango akomaki mokonzi, mpe akonzaki mibu zomi na moko na Yelusalemi.
Twenty and one years old was Zedekiah when he became king, and eleven years did he reign in Jerusalem.
12 Asalaki makambo mabe na miso ya Yawe, Nzambe na ye, mpe amikitisaki te liboso ya mosakoli Jeremi oyo azalaki koloba na Kombo na Yawe.
And he did what is evil in the eyes of the Lord his God: he humbled himself not before Jeremiah the prophet, according to the order of the Lord.
13 Lisusu, atombokelaki mokonzi Nabukodonozori oyo alapisaki ye ndayi na Kombo ya Nzambe. Na esika ete azonga epai na Yawe, Nzambe ya Isalaele, akomaki moto makasi mpe akomisaki motema na ye libanga.
And also against king Nebuchadnezzar did he rebel, who had made him swear by God; but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart so as not to return unto the Lord the God of Israel.
14 Bakonzi nyonso ya Banganga-Nzambe mpe bato bakomaki lisusu kosala mabe koleka, balandaki misala nyonso ya nkele ya bikolo ya bapaya mpe babebisaki bosantu ya Tempelo ya Yawe oyo Ye moko Yawe abulisaki na Yelusalemi.
Also all the chiefs of the priests and the people committed manifold trespasses, like all the abominable acts of the [foreign] nations: and they defiled the house of the Lord which he had hallowed in Jerusalem.
15 Yawe, Nzambe ya batata na bango, atindelaki bango, mbala na mbala mpe na ngonga malamu, makebisi na nzela ya bamemi sango na Ye, pamba te azalaki na posa ya kobatela bato na Ye mpe Tempelo na Ye.
And the Lord the God of their fathers sent to them by means of his messengers, making [them] rise early, and sending [them]: because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling-place;
16 Kasi bato ya Isalaele bazalaki kotiola bamemi sango ya Nzambe, bazalaki komona pamba makebisi na Ye mpe bazalaki kowolola basakoli na Ye kino Yawe kosilikela bato na Ye makasi; mpe bakokaki kosala eloko moko te mpo na komibikisa liboso ya kanda makasi ya Yawe.
But they mocked at the messengers of God, and despised his words, and scorned his prophets, until the fury of the Lord arose against his people, till there was no remedy.
17 Boye, mpo na kobebisa bango, Yawe atindaki mokonzi ya bato ya Babiloni, oyo abomaki na mopanga bilenge na bango kati na esika na bango ya bule; abikisaki te ezala elenge mobali, elenge mwasi, mokolo to mobange. Nzambe akabaki nyonso na maboko ya Nabukodonozori.
And he brought over them the king of the Chaldeans, who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man or virgin, the old man, and the aged: all did he give up into his hand.
18 Nabukodonozori amemaki na Babiloni biloko nyonso ya Tempelo ya Nzambe, ya minene to ya mike, bozwi ya Tempelo ya Yawe, bozwi ya mokonzi mpe ya bakalaka na ye.
And all the vessels of the house of God, the great and the small, and the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king and of his princes, —all these did he carry to Babylon.
19 Batumbaki na moto Tempelo ya Nzambe, babukaki mir ya Yelusalemi, batumbaki na moto bandako na yango ya kitoko mpe babebisaki biloko nyonso ya motuya.
And they burnt the house of God, and broke down the wall of Jerusalem, and all her palaces they burnt with fire, and all her costly vessels they gave up to destruction.
20 Nabukodonozori amemaki na Babiloni bato oyo babikaki na mopanga, akomisaki bango bawumbu na ye mpe ya bana na ye ya mibali kino na tango mokili ya Persi ezwaki bokonzi.
And those that had escaped from the sword did he carry into exile to Babylon: and they were servants to him and to his sons until the kingdom of Persia came to the government:
21 Ezalaki ndenge wana nde Liloba na Yawe ekokisamaki, liloba oyo alobaki na nzela ya mosakoli Jeremi: « Mokili ekozwa bopemi na mikolo nyonso oyo bakosundola yango, ekosepela na basaba na yango kino tango mibu tuku sambo ekokoka. »
To fulfill the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had satisfied its sabbaths: all the days of its desolation it rested, till seventy years were completed.
22 Na mobu ya liboso ya Sirisi, mokonzi ya Persi, Yawe alamusaki molimo ya Sirisi, mokonzi ya Persi, mpo na kokokisa liloba oyo alobaki na nzela ya mosakoli Jeremi mpo ete asakola mpe akoma boye kati na mokili na ye mobimba:
And in the first year of Cyrus the king of Persia, at the completion of the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah, did the Lord stir up the spirit of Cyrus the king of Persia, so that he caused a proclamation to be made throughout all his kingdom, and also by means of writing, saying,
23 « Tala makambo oyo Sirisi, mokonzi ya Persi, alobi: ‹ Yawe, Nzambe ya Likolo, apesi ngai babokonzi nyonso ya mabele mpe mokumba ya kotongela Ye Tempelo, na Yelusalemi kati na Yuda. Tika ete moto nyonso oyo, kati na bino, azali na molongo ya bato ya Yawe akende; pamba te Yawe, Nzambe na ye, azali elongo na ye! › »
Thus hath said Cyrus the king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath the Lord the God of heaven given me, and he hath charged me to build him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Whoever there is among you of all his people, may the Lord his God be with him, and let him go up.
