2 Masolo ya Kala 34
1 Joziasi azalaki na mibu mwambe ya mbotama tango akomaki mokonzi, mpe akonzaki mibu tuku misato na moko na Yelusalemi.
Josiah [is] a son of eight years in his reigning, and he has reigned thirty-one years in Jerusalem,
2 Asalaki makambo ya sembo na miso ya Yawe mpe alandaki banzela oyo Davidi, tata na ye, atambolaki na yango: apengwaki na yango te, ezala na ngambo ya loboko ya mwasi to na ngambo ya loboko ya mobali.
and he does that which is right in the eyes of YHWH, and walks in the ways of his father David, and has not turned aside [to] the right or left.
3 Na mobu ya mwambe ya bokonzi na ye, lokola azalaki nanu elenge, akomaki koluka Nzambe ya Davidi, tata na ye; bongo na mobu ya zomi na mibale, akomaki kopetola Yuda mpe Yelusalemi na kopekisa bato kokende na bisambelo ya likolo ya bangomba, na kobuka makonzi ya bule ya nzambe mwasi Ashera elongo na bikeko ya banzambe basala na nzete mpe na bibende oyo banyangwisa na moto.
And in the eighth year of his reign (and he [is] yet a youth), he has begun to seek for the God of his father David, and in the twelfth year he has begun to cleanse Judah and Jerusalem from the high places, and the Asherim, and the carved images, and the molten images.
4 Babukaki liboso na ye bitumbelo ya banzambe Bala, bakweyisaki mbala moko bitumbelo malasi oyo ezalaki na likolo na yango, abukaki makonzi ya bule ya nzambe mwasi Ashera, bikeko ya banzambe basala na nzete mpe na bibende oyo banyangwisa na moto; akomisaki yango putulu mpe asopaki putulu yango na likolo ya bakunda ya bato oyo babonzelaki banzambe yango bambeka.
And they break down the altars of the Ba‘alim before him, and he has cut down the images that [are] on high above them, and the Asherim, and the carved images, and the molten images, he has broken and beaten small, and strews [them] on the surface of the graves of those sacrificing to them,
5 Atumbaki mikuwa ya banganga-nzambe ya bikeko na likolo ya bitumbelo na yango. Ezalaki ndenge wana nde apetolaki Yuda mpe Yelusalemi.
and he has burned the bones of the priests on their altars, and cleanses Judah and Jerusalem,
6 Abukaki bitumbelo kati na bingumba ya Manase, ya Efrayimi, ya Simeoni kino na Nefitali mpe na bamboka na yango ya zingazinga.
and in the cities of Manasseh, and Ephraim, and Simeon, even to Naphtali, with their tools, all around.
7 Abukaki makonzi ya bule ya nzambe mwasi Ashera elongo na bikeko ya banzambe mpe akomisaki yango putulu. Akweyisaki lisusu bitumbelo malasi nyonso kati na mokili mobimba ya Isalaele. Bongo, azongaki na Yelusalemi.
And he breaks down the altars and the Asherim, and he has beaten down the carved images very small, and he has cut down all the images in all the land of Israel, and turns back to Jerusalem.
8 Tango Joziasi akokisaki mibu zomi na mwambe na bokonzi, mpo na kopetola mokili mpe Tempelo, atindaki Shafani, mwana mobali ya Atsalia; Maaseya, moyangeli ya engumba; mpe Yoa, mwana mobali ya Yoakazi mpe mobombi mikanda, mpo na kobongisa Tempelo ya Yawe, Nzambe na ye.
And in the eighteenth year of his reign, to purify the land and the house, he has sent Shaphan son of Azaliah, and Maaseiah head of the city, and Joah son of Johaz the remembrancer, to strengthen the house of his God YHWH.
9 Bakendeki epai ya Ilikia, mokonzi ya Banganga-Nzambe, mpe bapesaki ye mbongo oyo bazwaki na Tempelo ya Nzambe, mbongo oyo Balevi oyo bazalaki kokengela ekotelo bakongolaki lokola makabo mpo na Tempelo na maboko ya bato ya Manase, ya Efrayimi, ya batikali ya Isalaele, ya bato nyonso ya Yuda, ya Benjame mpe ya bavandi ya Yelusalemi.
And they come to Hilkiah the high priest, and they give the money that is brought into the house of God, that the Levites, keeping the threshold, have gathered from the hand of Manasseh, and Ephraim, and from all the remnant of Israel, and from all Judah, and Benjamin, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem,
10 Bapesaki mbongo yango na maboko ya batambolisi misala ya Tempelo ya Yawe. Bato yango bafutaki basali oyo bazalaki kobongisa mpe kolendisa Tempelo yango;
and they give [it] into the hand of the workmen, those appointed over the house of YHWH, and they give it [to] the workmen who are working in the house of YHWH, to repair and to strengthen the house;
11 bapesaki lisusu epai ya basharipantie mpe batongi Tempelo mpo ete basomba mabanga bakata elongo na mabaya mpo na motondo, mpe mpo ete batonga bandako mosusu oyo bakonzi ya Yuda bazalaki kobongisa te tango ezalaki kobeba.
and they give [it] to craftsmen and to builders to buy hewn stones, and wood for couplings and for beams [for] the houses that the kings of Judah had destroyed.
12 Bato yango basalaki mosala na bango na boyengebene mpe na bokambami ya Balevi Yaati mpe Abidiasi, bana mibali ya Merari. Zakari mpe Meshulami, bana mibali ya Keati, nde bazalaki kokengela mosala na bango.
And the men are working faithfully in the business, and over them are appointed Jahath and Obadiah, the Levites, of the sons of Merari, and Zechariah and Meshullam, of the sons of the Kohathite, to overlook; and of the Levites, everyone understanding about instruments of song,
13 Balevi yango bayebaki mpe kobeta mindule; bazalaki kokengela bato oyo bazalaki komema biloko ya mosala mpe kokamba ba-oyo nyonso bazalaki kosala misala na bisika nyonso oyo mosala ezalaki kosalema. Balevi mosusu bazalaki bakomi mikanda, balakisi ya Mobeko mpe bakengeli bikuke.
and over the burden-bearers, and overseers of everyone doing work for every service; and of the Levites [are] scribes, and officers, and gatekeepers.
14 Tango bazalaki kobimisa mbongo oyo ezalaki kati na Tempelo ya Yawe, Nganga-Nzambe Ilikia amonaki buku ya Mobeko ya Yawe, oyo epesamaki na nzela ya Moyize.
And in their bringing out the money that is brought into the house of YHWH, Hilkiah the priest has found the Scroll of the Law of YHWH by the hand of Moses,
15 Ilikia alobaki na Shafani, mokomi mikanda: — Namoni buku ya Mobeko kati na Tempelo ya Yawe! Mpe apesaki buku yango epai ya Shafani.
and Hilkiah answers and says to Shaphan the scribe, “I have found [the] Scroll of the Law in the house of YHWH”; and Hilkiah gives the scroll to Shaphan,
16 Shafani azwaki buku yango, amemaki yango epai ya mokonzi mpe ayebisaki ye: — Basali na yo bazali kosala makambo nyonso oyo otindaki bango.
and Shaphan brings in the scroll to the king, and brings the king back word again, saying, “All that has been given into the hand of your servants they are doing,
17 Bapesi mbongo oyo ezalaki kati na Tempelo ya Yawe epai ya batambolisi misala mpe epai ya bato oyo bazali kosala misala.
and they pour out the money that is found in the house of YHWH, and give it into the hand of those appointed and into the hands of those doing the work.”
18 Mokomi mikanda, Shafani, alobaki na mokonzi: — Nganga-Nzambe Ilikia apesi ngai buku moko. Mpe Shafani atangaki buku yango liboso ya mokonzi.
And Shaphan the scribe declares [it] to the king, saying, “Hilkiah the priest has given a scroll to me”; and Shaphan reads in it before the king.
19 Tango mokonzi ayokaki maloba ya Mobeko, apasolaki bilamba na ye,
And it comes to pass, at the king’s hearing the words of the Law, that he tears his garments,
20 apesaki mitindo oyo epai ya Ilikia, epai ya Ayikami, mwana mobali ya Shafani; epai ya Abidoni, mwana mobali ya Mishe; epai ya Shafani, mokomi mikanda, mpe epai ya Asaya, moko kati na bakalaka ya mokonzi:
and the king commands Hilkiah, and Ahikam son of Shaphan, and Abdon son of Micah, and Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah, servant of the king, saying,
21 — Bokende kotuna toli ya Yawe mpo na ngai mpe mpo na batikali ya Isalaele mpe ya Yuda; botuna na tina na makambo oyo ekomama kati na buku oyo ewuti komonana, pamba te kanda ya Yawe, oyo ekweyeli biso ezali makasi mpo ete batata na biso batosaki te Liloba na Yawe mpe basalaki te kolanda nyonso oyo ekomama kati na buku oyo.
“Go, seek YHWH for me, and for him who is left in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the scroll that is found, for great [is] the fury of YHWH that is poured on us, because that our fathers did not keep the word of YHWH to do according to all that is written on this scroll.”
22 Ilikia elongo na bato oyo mokonzi aponaki bakendeki epai ya mwasi mosakoli Ulida, mwasi ya Shalumi, mwana mobali ya Tokeati, mwana mobali ya Asira, mobombi bilamba ya Tempelo. Ulida azalaki kovanda na Yelusalemi, na etuka ya sika. Balobaki na ye ndenge bayokanaki.
And Hilkiah goes, and they of the king, to Huldah the prophetess, wife of Shallum son of Tikvath, son of Hasrah, keeper of the garments, and she is dwelling in Jerusalem in the Second [Quarter], and they speak to her thus.
23 Ulida alobaki na bango: — Tala makambo oyo Yawe, Nzambe ya Isalaele, alobi: « Boloba na tata oyo atindi bino epai na Ngai:
And she says to them, “Thus said YHWH, God of Israel: Say to the man who has sent you to me,
24 ‹ Tala liloba oyo Yawe alobi: Nakobengisa pasi makasi na esika oyo mpe na bavandi na yango kolanda bilakeli mabe nyonso oyo ekomama kati na buku oyo bawuti kotanga liboso ya mokonzi ya Yuda. ›
Thus said YHWH: Behold, I am bringing in calamity on this place and on its inhabitants, all the execrations that are written on the scroll that they read before the king of Judah,
25 Lokola basundolaki Ngai mpe batumbaki mbeka ya malasi mpo na banzambe mosusu kino kotumbola kanda na Ngai na nzela ya biloko oyo maboko na bango esilaki kosala, kanda na Ngai ekopela makasi na esika oyo, mpe ekokita te.
because that they have forsaken Me, and make incense to other gods, so as to provoke Me with all the works of their hands, and My fury is poured out on this place, and it is not quenched.
26 Kasi boloba na mokonzi ya Yuda oyo atindi bino kotuna toli ya Yawe: ‹ Tala makambo oyo Yawe, Nzambe ya Isalaele, alobi na tina na maloba oyo oyokaki:
And to the king of Judah who is sending you to inquire of YHWH, thus you say to him, Thus said YHWH God of Israel, whose words you have heard:
27 Lokola motema na yo etutami, lokola omikitisi liboso ya Nzambe sima na yo koyoka maloba na Ye mpo na kotelemela esika oyo mpe bavandi na yango, lokola omikitisi liboso na Ngai, lokola opasoli bilamba na yo mpe oleli liboso na Ngai, Ngai mpe nayoki, › elobi Yawe,
Because your heart [is] tender, and you are humbled before God in your hearing His words concerning this place and concerning its inhabitants, and are humbled before Me, and tear your garments, and weep before Me, indeed, I have also heard [you]—a declaration of YHWH.
28 ‹ nakosala ete okende kokutana na bakoko na yo, oyo bakufa; mpe okokundama na kimia kati na moko na bakunda na yo. Na bongo, miso na yo ekomona te pasi nyonso oyo nakotindela esika oyo mpe bavandi na yango. › » Batindami bakomisaki eyano oyo epai ya mokonzi.
Behold, I am gathering you to your fathers, and you have been gathered to your graves in peace, and your eyes do not look on all the calamity that I am bringing on this place and on its inhabitants”; and they bring the king back word.
29 Mokonzi Joziasi abengisaki bampaka nyonso ya Yuda mpe ya Yelusalemi.
And the king sends and gathers all the elderly of Judah and Jerusalem,
30 Bongo akendeki na Tempelo ya Yawe elongo na bato nyonso ya Yuda, bavandi nyonso ya Yelusalemi, Banganga-Nzambe, Balevi, bato nyonso, kobanda na oyo aleki na lokumu kino na oyo aleki na se. Mokonzi atangelaki bango makomi nyonso ya buku ya Boyokani oyo emonanaki kati na Tempelo ya Yawe.
and the king goes up to the house of YHWH, and [to] every man of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the priests, and the Levites, even all the people, from great even to small, and he reads in their ears all the words of the scroll of the covenant that is found in the house of YHWH.
31 Mokonzi atelemaki na etemelo na ye ya kolobela mpe asalaki boyokani oyo liboso ya Yawe: — Nalapi ndayi ete nakolanda Yawe, nakotosa mibeko, mitindo mpe malako na Ye, na motema mpe na elimo na ngai mobimba; mpe nakotosa maloba ya boyokani, oyo ekomama kati na buku oyo.
And the king stands on his station, and makes the covenant before YHWH to walk after YHWH, and to keep His commands, and His testimonies, and His statutes, with all his heart and with all his soul, to do the words of the covenant that are written on this scroll.
32 Mokonzi alapisaki ndayi yango bato nyonso oyo bazalaki na Yelusalemi mpe kati na etuka ya Benjame. Mpe bavandi ya Yelusalemi batambolaki kolanda boyokani ya Nzambe, Nzambe ya batata na bango.
And he presents everyone who is found in Jerusalem and Benjamin, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem do according to the covenant of God, the God of their fathers.
33 Joziasi alongolaki banzambe nyonso ya bikeko ya nkele kati na bituka nyonso ya bana ya Isalaele. Apesaki mitindo na bato nyonso oyo bazalaki kati na Isalaele ete basalela Yawe, Nzambe na bango. Na bongo, na mikolo nyonso ya bomoi ya Joziasi, bapengwaki te liboso ya Yawe, Nzambe ya batata na bango.
And Josiah turns aside all the abominations out of all the lands that the sons of Israel have, and causes everyone who is found in Israel to serve, to serve their God YHWH; all his days they did not turn aside from after YHWH, God of their fathers.
