< 2 Masolo ya Kala 33 >

1 Manase azalaki na mibu zomi na mibale ya mbotama tango akomaki mokonzi, mpe akonzaki mibu tuku mitano na mitano na Yelusalemi.
Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign; he reigned fifty-five years in Jerusalem.
2 Asalaki makambo mabe na miso ya Yawe na ndenge amekolaki misala ya nkele ya bikolo oyo Yawe abenganaki liboso ya bato ya Isalaele.
He did what was evil in the sight of Yahweh, like the disgusting things of the nations whom Yahweh had driven out before the people of Israel.
3 Atongaki lisusu bisambelo ya likolo ya bangomba oyo Ezekiasi, tata na ye, abukaki; atongaki mpe bitumbelo mpo na banzambe Bala mpe atelemisaki makonzi mpo na nzambe mwasi Ashera. Afukamelaki mpe agumbamelaki mampinga nyonso ya likolo.
For he rebuilt the high places that his father Hezekiah had torn down, and he built altars for the Baals, he made Asherah poles, and he bowed down to all the stars of heaven and worshiped them.
4 Atongaki bitumbelo mpo na banzambe ya bapaya kati na Tempelo ya Yawe oyo, na tina na yango, Yawe alobaki: « Kombo na Ngai ekozala kati na Yelusalemi mpo na libela. »
Manasseh built altars in the house of Yahweh, although Yahweh had commanded, “It is in Jerusalem that my name will be forever.”
5 Atongaki kati na mapango nyonso mibale ya Tempelo ya Yawe bitumbelo mpo na mampinga nyonso ya likolo.
He built altars for all the stars of heaven in the two courtyards of the house of Yahweh.
6 Manase abonzaki na moto, lokola mbeka, bana na ye ya mibali, kati na Lubwaku ya Beni-Inomi; asalelaki kindoki, soloka mpe maji; atiaki na mosala bato oyo basololaka na milimo ya bakufi mpe bamoni makambo. Akobaki kosala makambo mabe na miso ya Yawe; na bongo, apelisaki kanda na Ye.
In the Valley of Ben Hinnom he caused his sons to pass through the fire. He practiced sorcery, divination and he read omens, and he consulted with those who talked with the dead and with those who talked with spirits. Manasseh did much evil in the sight of Yahweh, and he provoked him to anger.
7 Atiaki kati na Tempelo ya Yawe nzambe ya ekeko oyo asalisaki; nzokande, Nzambe alobaki na Davidi mpe na Salomo, mwana na ye ya mobali: — Nakotia Kombo na Ngai mpo na libela kati na Tempelo oyo mpe kati na Yelusalemi oyo naponi kati na mabota nyonso ya Isalaele.
The carved figure he had made, he placed it in the house of God. It was about this house that God had spoken to David and Solomon his son; he had said, “It is in this house and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen from all the tribes of Israel, that I will put my name forever.
8 Nakolongola lisusu te makolo ya bato ya Isalaele na mokili oyo napesaki epai ya batata na bango, soki kaka bamipesi na kosala makambo nyonso oyo natindaki bango na tina na mibeko nyonso, mitindo mpe malako oyo napesaki bango na nzela ya Moyize.
I will not move the people of Israel any more out of the land that I assigned to their ancestors, if they will only be careful to keep all that I have commanded them, following all the law, statutes, and decrees which I gave them through Moses.”
9 Kasi Manase apengwisaki bato ya Yuda mpe ya Yelusalemi; boye basalaki lisusu mabe koleka bikolo oyo Yawe abebisaki liboso ya bato ya Isalaele.
Manasseh led Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to do evil even more than the nations that Yahweh had destroyed before the people of Israel.
10 Yawe akebisaki Manase mpe bato na Ye, kasi baboyaki koyoka.
Yahweh spoke to Manasseh, and to his people, but they paid no attention.
11 Bongo Yawe atindaki bakonzi ya basoda ya mokonzi ya Asiri kobundisa bango. Bakangaki Manase mpe bakotisaki na zolo na ye ebende oyo ezali lokola ndobo, bakangaki ye minyololo ya bronze mpe bamemaki ye na Babiloni.
So Yahweh brought on them the commanders of the army of the king of Assyria, who took Manasseh in chains, bound him with fetters, and took him off to Babylon.
12 Kati na pasi na ye, Manase abondelaki Yawe, Nzambe na ye, mpe amikitisaki makasi liboso ya Nzambe ya batata na ye.
When Manasseh was in distress, he implored Yahweh, his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his ancestors.
13 Abondelaki Ye, mpe Yawe alembisaki motema, ayokaki libondeli na ye mpe azongisaki ye na Yelusalemi, kati na mokili na ye. Manase asosolaki ete Yawe kaka nde azali Nzambe.
He prayed to him; and God was begged by him, and God heard his begging and brought him back to Jerusalem, into his kingship. Then Manasseh knew that Yahweh was God.
14 Sima na makambo oyo nyonso, Manase atongaki mir, na libanda ya engumba ya Davidi, na ngambo ya weste ya etima ya Giyoni, na lubwaku oyo ekenda kino na ekuke ya Mbisi; ezingelaki ngomba moke ya Ofeli. Asalaki yango molayi makasi, kobanda na se kino na likolo, mpe atiaki bakonzi ya basoda kati na bingumba nyonso ya Yuda, oyo batonga makasi.
After this, Manasseh built an outer wall to the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, to the entrance at the Fish Gate. He surrounded the hill of Ophel with it and raised the wall up to a very great height. He put courageous commanders in all the fortified cities of Judah.
15 Alongolaki kati na Tempelo ya Yawe banzambe ya bapaya mpe ya bikeko, abwakaki libanda ya engumba bitumbelo nyonso oyo atongaki na ngomba moke ya Tempelo mpe kati na Yelusalemi.
He took away the foreign gods, the idol out of the house of Yahweh, and all the altars that he had built on the mount of the house of Yahweh and in Jerusalem, and threw them out of the city.
16 Bongo atongaki lisusu etumbelo ya Yawe, abonzaki na likolo na yango mbeka ya boyokani elongo na makabo ya kozongisa matondi epai ya Nzambe, mpe apesaki mitindo epai ya bato ya Yuda ete basalela Yawe, Nzambe ya Isalaele.
He rebuilt the altar of Yahweh and offered on it sacrifices of fellowship offerings and thank offerings; he commanded Judah to serve Yahweh, the God of Israel.
17 Atako bato bakobaki kotumba bambeka na bisambelo ya likolo ya bangomba, kasi bazalaki kosala yango kaka mpo na lokumu ya Yawe, Nzambe na bango.
However, the people still sacrificed at the high places, but only to Yahweh, their God.
18 Makambo mosusu oyo etali bokonzi ya Manase, libondeli na ye epai ya Nzambe na ye mpe maloba oyo bamoni makambo balobaki na ye na Kombo na Yawe, Nzambe ya Isalaele, ekomama kati na buku ya masolo ya bakonzi ya Isalaele.
As to the other matters concerning Manasseh, his prayer to his God, and the words of the seers who spoke to him in the name of Yahweh, the God of Israel, behold, they are written among the deeds of the kings of Israel.
19 Libondeli na ye mpe ndenge Yawe alimbisaki mabe na ye, masumu na ye nyonso, bozangi boyengebene na ye epai ya Nzambe, molongo ya bisika nyonso epai wapi atongaki bisambelo ya likolo ya bangomba mpe atelemisaki makonzi ya nzambe mwasi Ashera elongo na bikeko ya banzambe oyo azalaki kofukamela liboso ete ayokisama soni, nyonso wana ekomama kati na mikanda ya Ozayi.
In that account there is history of his prayer, and how God was moved by it. There is also an account of all his sin and his trespasses, and the places where he had built high places and set up the Asherah poles and the carved figures, before he humbled himself—they are written about in the Chronicles of the Seers.
20 Manase akendeki kokutana na bakoko na ye, mpe bakundaki ye kati na ndako na ye ya bokonzi. Amoni, mwana na ye ya mobali, akitanaki na ye na bokonzi.
So Manasseh slept with his ancestors, and they buried him in his own house. Amon, his son, became king in his place.
21 Amoni azalaki na mibu tuku mibale na mibale ya mbotama tango akomaki mokonzi, mpe akonzaki mibu mibale na Yelusalemi.
Amon was twenty-two years old when he began to reign; he reigned two years in Jerusalem.
22 Amoni asalaki makambo mabe na miso ya Yawe, ndenge kaka Manase, tata na ye, asalaki; agumbamelaki banzambe nyonso ya bikeko oyo Manase, tata na ye, asalaki mpe abonzelaki yango bambeka.
He did what was evil in the sight of Yahweh, as Manasseh, his father, had done. Amon sacrificed to all the carved figures that Manasseh his father had made, and he worshiped them.
23 Amoni amikitisaki te lokola Manase, tata na ye, liboso ya Yawe, kasi asalaki lisusu mabe koleka.
He did not humble himself before Yahweh, as Manasseh his father had done. Instead, this same Amon trespassed more and more.
24 Bakalaka na ye basalelaki ye likita mpe babomaki ye kati na ndako na ye ya bokonzi.
His servants conspired against him and put him to death in his own house.
25 Kasi bato ya mokili babomaki bato nyonso oyo basalelaki mokonzi Amoni likita; mpe na esika na ye, bakomisaki Joziasi, mwana na ye ya mobali, mokonzi.
But the people of the land killed all those who had conspired against King Amon, and they made Josiah, his son, king in his place.
