2 Masolo ya Kala 17
1 Jozafati, mwana mobali ya Asa, akitanaki na tata na ye na bokonzi mpe alendisaki makasi na ye mpo na kobundisa Isalaele.
And he became king Jehoshaphat son his in place of him and he strengthened himself on Israel.
2 Atiaki mampinga na ye kati na bingumba nyonso ya Yuda, oyo batonga makasi; mpe atiaki masanga ya basoda kati na mokili ya Yuda mpe kati na bingumba ya Efrayimi oyo Asa, tata na ye, abotolaki.
And he put an army in all [the] cities of Judah fortified and he put garrisons in [the] land of Judah and in [the] cities of Ephraim which he had captured Asa father his.
3 Yawe azalaki elongo na Jozafati mpo ete, na eteni ya liboso ya bomoi na ye, alandaki ndakisa ya Davidi, tata na ye, mpe amipesaki te na banzambe Bala.
And he was Yahweh with Jehoshaphat for he walked in [the] ways of David ancestor his former and not he sought the Baals.
4 Kasi alukaki Nzambe ya tata na ye mpe atosaki mibeko na Ye: alandaki te makambo oyo ezalaki kosalema kati na Isalaele.
For [the] God of father his he sought and in commandments his he walked and not according to [the] deed[s] of Israel.
5 Yawe alendisaki bokonzi oyo ezalaki na maboko ya Jozafati, mpe Yuda mobimba ezalaki komemela ye bakado. Akomaki na bozwi ebele mpe atondaki na lokumu.
And he established Yahweh the kingdom in hand his and they gave all Judah tribute to Jehoshaphat and it belonged to him wealth and honor to abundance.
6 Motema na ye esepelaki makasi kotambola na banzela ya Yawe kino kolongola kati na Yuda bisambelo ya likolo ya bangomba mpe makonzi ya Ashera.
And it was high heart his in [the] ways of Yahweh and again he removed the high places and the Asherah poles from Judah.
7 Na mobu ya misato ya bokonzi na ye, atindaki bakalaka na ye koteya bavandi ya bingumba ya Yuda. Ezalaki Beni-Ayili, Abidiasi, Zakari, Netaneeli mpe Mishe.
And in year three of reigning his he sent officials his Ben-Hail and Obadiah and Zechariah and Nethanel and Micaiah to teach in [the] cities of Judah.
8 Atindaki elongo na bango Balevi oyo libwa: Shemaya, Netania, Zebadia, Asaeli, Shemiramoti, Jonatan, Adoniya, Tobiya mpe Tobi-Adoniya; elongo na Banganga-Nzambe Elishama mpe Yorami.
And [were] with them the Levites Shemaiah and Nethaniah and Zebadiah and Asahel (and Shemiramoth *Q(K)*) and Jonathan and Adonijah and Tobijah and Tob-Adonijah the Levites and [were] with them Elishama and Jehoram the priests.
9 Bateyaki kati na Yuda. Wana bazalaki na buku ya Mobeko ya Yawe elongo na bango, batambolaki kati na bingumba nyonso ya Yuda mpo na koteya bato.
And they taught in Judah and [was] with them [the] book of [the] law of Yahweh and they went round in all [the] cities of Judah and they taught among the people.
10 Somo ya Yawe ekangaki bamboka nyonso oyo ezalaki zingazinga ya Yuda, mpe ekokaki lisusu te kobundisa Jozafati.
And it was - [the] dread of Yahweh on all [the] kingdoms of the lands which [were] around Judah and not they waged war with Jehoshaphat.
11 Bato ya Filisitia bamemelaki Jozafati bakado mpe palata lokola mpako mpo na mokonzi; mpe bato ya Arabi bamemelaki ye bameme ya mibali nkoto sambo na nkama sambo mpe bantaba ya mibali nkoto sambo na nkama sambo.
And some of [the] Philistines [were] bringing to Jehoshaphat tribute and silver a load also the Arabs [were] bringing to him flock[s] rams seven thousand and seven hundred and male goats seven thousand and seven hundred.
12 Wana nguya ya bokonzi ya Jozafati ekobaki kaka koya makasi, atongaki kati na Yuda bandako makasi mpe bingumba ya kobomba biloko.
And it was Jehoshaphat [was] going and [was] becoming great to upwards and he built in Judah fortresses and cities of storage.
13 Kati na bingumba ya Yuda, azalaki na biloko ebele ya kolia; mpe kati na Yelusalemi, atiaki basoda ya mpiko.
And property much it belonged to him in [the] cities of Judah and men of war mighty [men] of strength [were] in Jerusalem.
14 Tala motango na bango kolanda mabota na bango: Kati na libota ya Yuda, bakonzi ya bankoto: Adina, mokonzi ya basoda ya mpiko nkoto nkama misato;
And these [were] group[s] their to [the] house of ancestors their of Judah commanders of thousands Adnah [was] the commander and [were] with him mighty [men] of strength three hundred thousand.
15 sima na ye, Yoanani: mokonzi ya basoda ya mpiko nkoto nkama mibale na tuku mwambe;
And on hand his Jehohanan the commander and with him two hundred and eighty thousand.
16 sima na ye, Amasia, mwana mobali ya Zikiri, oyo amikabaki ye moko epai na Yawe: mokonzi ya basoda ya mpiko nkoto nkama mibale.
And on hand his Amasiah [the] son of Zikri who volunteered to Yahweh and with him two hundred thousand mighty [man] of strength.
17 Kati na libota ya Benjame: Eliyada, elombe ya bitumba, azalaki mokonzi ya basoda ya mpiko nkoto nkama mibale oyo bazalaki na matolotolo mpe na banguba;
And from Benjamin a mighty [man] of strength Eliada and with him [men] equipped of bow and shield two hundred thousand.
18 Yozabadi, mokonzi ya basoda ya mpiko nkoto nkama moko na tuku mwambe.
And on hand his Jehozabad and with him one hundred and eighty thousand [men] equipped of war.
19 Bato oyo nyonso bazalaki kosala epai ya mokonzi lokola bakonzi ya basoda ya mpiko, bakisa ba-oyo mokonzi atiaki kati na bingumba batonga makasi ya Yuda mobimba.
These [were] the [ones who] served the king besides [those] whom he put the king in [the] cities of fortification in all Judah.
