2 Masolo ya Kala 11
1 Tango Roboami azongaki na Yelusalemi, asangisaki mabota ya Yuda mpe ya Benjame, aponaki bilombe ya bitumba nkoto nkama moko na tuku mwambe mpo na kobundisa Isalaele mpe kozongisa bokonzi na maboko ya Roboami.
And when Rehoboam was come to Ierusalem, he gathered of the house of Iudah and Beniamin nine score thousande chosen men of warre to fight against Israel, and to bring the kingdome againe to Rehoboam.
2 Kasi Yawe alobaki na Shemaya, moto na Nzambe:
But the worde of the Lord came to Shemaiah the man of God, saying,
3 — Yebisa Roboami, mwana mobali ya Salomo, mokonzi ya Yuda, mpe bana nyonso ya Isalaele oyo bazali kati na Yuda mpe Benjame:
Speake vnto Rehoboam, the sonne of Salomon King of Iudah, and to all Israel that are in Iudah, and Beniamin, saying,
4 « Tala liloba oyo Yawe alobi: ‹ Bokende te kobundisa bandeko na bino! Tika ete moto moko na moko azonga na ndako na ye, pamba te ngai moko nde nasali makambo nyonso oyo eleki. › » Batosaki Liloba na Yawe, bazongaki na bandako na bango mpe batikaki mabongisi ya kobundisa Jeroboami.
Thus sayth the Lord, Ye shall not goe vp, nor fight against your brethren: returne euery man to his house: for this thing is done of me. They obeyed therfore the word of the Lord, and returned from going against Ieroboam.
5 Wana Roboami avandaki na Yelusalemi, atongaki bamir zingazinga ya bingumba ebele ya Yuda mpo na kolendisa yango.
And Rehoboam dwelt in Ierusalem, and buylt strong cities in Iudah.
6 Alendisaki Beteleemi, Etami, Tekoa,
Hee buylt also Beth-lehem, and Etam, and Tekoa,
7 Beti-Tsuri, Soko, Adulami,
And Beth-zur, and Shoco, and Adullam,
8 Gati, Maresha, Zifi,
And Gath, and Maresha, and Ziph,
9 Adorayimi, Lakishi, Azeka,
And Adoraim, and Lachish, and Azekah,
10 Tsorea, Ayaloni mpe Ebron. Oyo nde ezalaki bingumba batonga makasi kati na Yuda mpe Benjame.
And Zorah, and Aialon, and Hebron, which were in Iudah and Beniamin, strong cities.
11 Atongaki zingazinga na yango bamir, atiaki kuna bayangeli mpe bibombelo ya biloko ya kolia, ya mafuta mpe ya vino.
And he repaired the strong holdes and put captaines in them, and store of vitaile, and oyle and wine.
12 Kati na bingumba yango nyonso, atiaki banguba minene mpe makonga mpo na kokomisa yango makasi koleka. Boye Yuda mpe Benjame ekomaki ya Roboami.
And in all cities he put shieldes and speares, and made them exceeding strong: so Iudah and Beniamin were his.
13 Banganga-Nzambe mpe Balevi oyo bazalaki kati na Isalaele mobimba bayaki kosangana na Roboami wuta na bituka na bango nyonso.
And the Priests and the Leuites that were in all Israel, resorted vnto him out of all their coastes.
14 Balevi batikaki bandako mpe mabele na bango, bakendeki na Yuda mpe na Yelusalemi, pamba te Jeroboami mpe bana na ye ya mibali bapekisaki bango kosala mosala na bango ya bonganga-Nzambe ya Yawe.
For the Leuites left their suburbes and their possession, and came to Iudah and to Ierusalem: for Ieroboam and his sonnes had cast them out from ministring in the Priestes office vnto the Lord.
15 Boye, ye moko Jeroboami aponaki banganga-nzambe mpo na bisambelo ya likolo ya bangomba mpe mpo na banzambe ya bikeko oyo asalaki na lolenge ya bantaba ya mibali mpe ya bana ngombe.
And he ordeyned him Priests for the hie places, and for the deuils and for the calues which he had made.
16 Bato ya mabota nyonso ya Isalaele, oyo balukaka Yawe, Nzambe ya Isalaele, na mitema na bango mobimba balandaki Balevi, na Yelusalemi, mpo na kobonzela Yawe, Nzambe ya batata na bango, mbeka.
And after the Leuites there came to Ierusalem of all the tribes of Israel, such as set their heartes to seeke the Lord God of Israel, to offer vnto the Lord God of their fathers.
17 Mibu misato, balendisaki bokonzi ya Yuda mpe nguya ya Roboami, mwana mobali ya Salomo; pamba te mibu misato yango, balandaki ndakisa ya Davidi mpe ya Salomo.
So they strengthened the kingdome of Iudah, and made Rehoboam the sonne of Salomon mightie, three yeere long: for three yeere they walked in in the way of Dauid and Salomon.
18 Roboami abalaki Maalati, mwana mwasi ya Yerimoti, mwana mobali ya Davidi mpe ya Abiyaili, mwana mwasi ya Eliabi, mwana mobali ya Izayi.
And Rehoboam tooke him Mahalath ye daughter of Ierimoth the sonne of Dauid to wife, and Abihail the daughter of Eliab the sonne of Ishai,
19 Maalati abotelaki Roboami bana mibali oyo: Yewushi, Shemaria mpe Zaami.
Which bare him sonnes Ieush, and Shemariah, and Zaham.
20 Sima, Roboami abalaki Maaka, mwana mwasi ya Abisalomi, oyo abotelaki ye: Abiya, Atayi, Ziza mpe Shelomiti.
And after her he tooke Maakah ye daughter of Absalom which bare him Abiiah, and Atthai, and Ziza, and Shelomith.
21 Roboami alingaki mingi Maaka, mwana mwasi ya Abisalomi, koleka basi mpe bamakangu na ye nyonso. Azalaki na basi zomi na mwambe mpe bamakangu tuku motoba; mpe abotaki bana mibali tuku mibale na mwambe mpe bana basi tuku motoba.
And Rehoboam loued Maakah ye daughter of Absalom aboue all his wiues and his concubines: for he tooke eighteene wiues, and three score concubines, and begate eyght and twentie sonnes, and three score daughters.
22 Roboami aponaki Abiya, mwana mobali ya Maaka, mpo ete azala mokambi ya liboso ya bandeko na ye ya mibali, pamba te azalaki na makanisi ya kokomisa ye mokonzi.
And Rehoboam made Abiiah the sonne of Maakah the chiefe ruler among his brethren: for he thought to make him King.
23 Boye, asalelaki mayele ya kopanza bana na ye nyonso ya mibali kati na bituka nyonso ya Yuda mpe ya Benjame, kati na bingumba nyonso batonga makasi; apesaki bango bilei mpe basi ebele.
And he taught him: and dispersed all his sonnes throughout all the countreis of Iudah and Beniamin vnto euery strong citie: and hee gaue them aboundance of vitaile, and desired many wiues.
