< 1 Samuele 30 >
1 Davidi mpe bato na ye bakomaki na Tsikilagi, na mokolo ya misato. Na tango wana mpe, bato ya Amaleki bakotaki na ngambo ya Sude mpe na Tsikilagi. Babundisaki Tsikilagi mpe batumbaki yango.
On the third day David and his men arrived in Ziklag, and the Amalekites had raided the Negev, attacked Ziklag, and burned it down.
2 Bakangaki na bowumbu basi mpe bato nyonso oyo bazalaki kuna, ezala bilenge to mikolo, kasi babomaki moko te kati na bango. Bamemaki bango mpe bazongelaki nzela na bango.
They had taken captive the women and all who were there, both young and old. They had not killed anyone, but had carried them off as they went on their way.
3 Tango Davidi mpe bato na ye bakomaki na engumba Tsikilagi, bakutaki yango ebebisama na moto. Basi na bango, bana na bango ya mibali mpe ya basi bakomaki bawumbu.
When David and his men came to the city, they found it burned down and their wives and sons and daughters taken captive.
4 Davidi mpe bato na ye balelaki makasi kino bazangaki makasi ya kolela.
So David and the troops with him lifted up their voices and wept until they had no strength left to weep.
5 Bamemaki mpe na bowumbu basi mibale ya Davidi: Ayinoami, moto ya Jizireyeli; mpe Abigayili, moto ya Karimeli, oyo akufisaki mobali, Nabali.
David’s two wives, Ahinoam of Jezreel and Abigail the widow of Nabal of Carmel, had been taken captive.
6 Davidi ayokaki pasi makasi na motema, pamba te bato bazalaki komibongisa mpo na koboma ye na mabanga, mpo ete moto nyonso azalaki na pasi na motema mpo na bana na ye ya mibali mpe ya basi. Kasi Davidi amilendisaki kati na Yawe, Nzambe na ye.
And David was greatly distressed because the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of every man grieved for his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the LORD his God.
7 Boye Davidi alobaki na Nganga-Nzambe Abiatari, mwana mobali ya Ayimeleki: « Memela ngai efode. » Mpe Abiatari amemelaki ye yango.
Then David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelech, “Bring me the ephod.” So Abiathar brought it to him,
8 Bongo Davidi atunaki Yawe: — Nakoki na ngai kolanda lisanga oyo ya miyibi? Nakokoka na ngai kokanga bango? Yawe azongiselaki ye: — Landa bango, okokanga bango solo mpe okokangola bakangami.
and David inquired of the LORD: “Should I pursue these raiders? Will I overtake them?” “Pursue them,” the LORD replied, “for you will surely overtake them and rescue the captives.”
9 Davidi akendeki elongo na basoda na ye, nkama motoba. Bakomaki na moluka ya lubwaku ya Besori epai wapi ba-oyo bazalaki kotikala na sima batelemaki;
So David and his six hundred men went to the Brook of Besor, where some stayed behind
10 pamba te mibali nkama mibale balembaki makasi, bongo bakokaki te kokatisa moluka. Kasi Davidi elongo na basoda na ye, nkama minei, bakobaki kolanda.
because two hundred men were too exhausted to cross the brook. But David and four hundred men continued in pursuit.
11 Basoda ya Davidi bakutanaki na mobali moko ya Ejipito kati na zamba mpe bamemaki ye epai ya Davidi. Bapesaki ye mayi ya komela mpe biloko ya kolia.
Now his men found an Egyptian in the field and brought him to David. They gave the man water to drink and food to eat—
12 Bapesaki ye gato basala na bambuma ya figi mpe maboke mibale ya bambuma ya vino ekawuka. Sima na ye kolia yango, azwaki lisusu makasi, pamba te aliaki te mpe amelaki te wuta mikolo misato mpe babutu misato.
a piece of a fig cake and two clusters of raisins. So he ate and was revived, for he had not had any food or water for three days and three nights.
13 Davidi atunaki ye: — Ozali na ngambo ya banani mpe owuti wapi? Azongiselaki ye: — Nazali moto ya Ejipito mpe mowumbu ya moto moko ya Amaleki. Esali mikolo misato wuta nkolo na ngai atikalaki kosundola ngai mpo ete nazalaki kobela.
Then David asked him, “To whom do you belong, and where are you from?” “I am an Egyptian,” he replied, “the slave of an Amalekite. My master abandoned me three days ago when I fell ill.
14 Tokotaki na ngambo ya Sude ya bato ya Kereti, ya etuka ya Yuda, mpe na ngambo ya Sude ya Kalebi; mpe totumbaki na moto Tsikilagi.
We raided the Negev of the Cherethites, the territory of Judah, and the Negev of Caleb, and we burned down Ziklag.”
15 Davidi atunaki ye: — Okoki komema ngai na bisika oyo lisanga ya miyibi wana ezali? Azongisaki: — Yo, lapa nanu ndayi epai na ngai liboso ya Nzambe ete okoboma ngai te mpe okozongisa ngai te epai ya nkolo na ngai; bongo ngai nakomema yo epai bango bazali.
“Will you lead me to these raiders?” David asked. And the man replied, “Swear to me by God that you will not kill me or deliver me into the hand of my master, and I will lead you to them.”
16 Boye amemaki Davidi na esika oyo bato ya Amaleki bazalaki. Mpe bamonaki ete bazalaki ya kopanzana na mboka mobimba, bazalaki kolia, komela mpe kobina mpo na ebele ya bomengo ya bitumba oyo babotolaki na mokili ya bato ya Filisitia mpe ya Yuda.
So he led David down, and there were the Amalekites spread out over all the land, eating, drinking, and celebrating the great amount of plunder they had taken from the land of the Philistines and the land of Judah.
17 Davidi alongaki bango kobanda na tongo kino na pokwa ya mokolo oyo elandaki. Moko te abikaki, longola kaka bilenge mibali nkama minei oyo bamataki na likolo ya bashamo mpe bakimaki.
And David struck them down from twilight until the evening of the next day. Not a man escaped, except four hundred young men who fled, riding off on camels.
18 Davidi akangolaki biloko nyonso oyo bato ya Amaleki bazwaki elongo na basi na ye mibale.
So David recovered everything the Amalekites had taken, including his two wives.
19 Moto na bango moko te azangaki: ezala elenge, mokolo, mwana mobali, mwana mwasi, eloko moko kati na bomengo ya bitumba to eloko moko kati na biloko oyo babotolaki bango. Davidi azongaki na biloko nyonso.
Nothing was missing, young or old, son or daughter, or any of the plunder the Amalekites had taken. David brought everything back.
20 Davidi akamataki bameme mpe bangombe nyonso. Bato oyo bazalaki kotambola liboso ya bibwele mpo na kolakisa yango nzela bazalaki koloba: « Tala bomengo ya bitumba ya Davidi. »
And he recovered all the flocks and herds, which his men drove ahead of the other livestock, calling out, “This is David’s plunder!”
21 Bongo Davidi akomaki epai ya mibali nkama mibale oyo bakokaki kolanda ye te mpo ete balembaki makasi, mpe batikaki bango na lubwaku ya Besori. Mibali yango babimaki mpo na koyamba Davidi mpe bato oyo bazalaki elongo na ye. Boye Davidi mpe bato na ye bapusanaki mpe bapesaki bango mbote.
When David came to the two hundred men who had been too exhausted to follow him from the Brook of Besor, they came out to meet him and the troops with him. As David approached the men, he greeted them,
22 Kasi kati na bato oyo bakendeki elongo na Davidi, bato nyonso ya mabe mpe batomboki balobaki: — Lokola bakendeki na biso te, tokoki kokabola na bango te bomengo ya bitumba. Tika ete moto na moto azwa kaka mwasi na ye elongo na bana na ye mpe akende.
but all the wicked and worthless men among those who had gone with David said, “Because they did not go with us, we will not share with them the plunder we recovered, except for each man’s wife and children. They may take them and go.”
23 Kasi Davidi alobaki: — Te, bandeko na ngai ya mibali! Bokoki kosala boye te mpo na biloko oyo Yawe apesi biso! Pamba te abateli biso mpe akabi na maboko na biso mampinga nyonso oyo eyaki kobundisa biso.
But David said, “My brothers, you must not do this with what the LORD has given us. He has protected us and delivered into our hands the raiders who came against us.
24 Nani akoki kondima bino na makambo oyo bozali koloba? Eteni ya moto oyo atikalaki kokengela biloko mpe eteni ya moto oyo akendeki na bitumba esengeli kozala ndenge moko. Tokokabola nyonso ndenge moko.
Who will listen to your proposal? The share of the one who went to battle will match the share of the one who stayed with the supplies. They will share alike.”
25 Kobanda mokolo wana kino lelo, Davidi akomisaki yango mobeko mpe malako kati na Isalaele.
And so it has been from that day forward. David established this statute as an ordinance for Israel to this very day.
26 Tango Davidi akomaki na Tsikilagi, atindaki ndambo ya bomengo ya bitumba epai ya bampaka ya Yuda, oyo bazalaki baninga na ye. Alobaki: « Tala kado mpo na bino kowuta na bomengo ya bitumba ya banguna ya Yawe. »
When David arrived in Ziklag, he sent some of the plunder to his friends, the elders of Judah, saying, “Here is a gift for you from the plunder of the LORD’s enemies.”
27 Atindaki ndambo epai ya ba-oyo bazalaki na Beteli, na ngambo ya sude ya Ramoti mpe na Yatiri;
He sent gifts to those in Bethel, Ramoth Negev, and Jattir;
28 mpe epai ya ba-oyo bazalaki na Aroeri, na Sipimoti, na Eshitemoa;
to those in Aroer, Siphmoth, and Eshtemoa;
29 mpe epai ya ba-oyo bazalaki na Rakali, kati na bingumba ya bato ya Yerameeli, ya bato ya Keni;
to those in Racal and in the cities of the Jerahmeelites and Kenites;
30 epai ya ba-oyo bazalaki na Orima, na Bori-Ashani, na Ataki;
to those in Hormah, Bor-ashan, and Athach;
31 epai ya ba-oyo bazalaki na Ebron mpe na bisika nyonso oyo Davidi mpe bato na ye balekaki.
and to those in Hebron and in all the places where David and his men had roamed.
