1 Mokonzi Salomo akonzaki Isalaele mobimba.
King Solomon was king over all Israel.
2 Tala bakambi oyo bazalaki kosala na ye elongo: Azaria, koko ya Nganga-Nzambe Tsadoki;
These were the princes whom he had: Azariah the son of Zadok, the priest;
3 Eliyorefi mpe Ayiya, bana mibali ya Shisha, bazalaki bakomi mikanda; Jozafati, mwana mobali ya Ayiludi, azalaki mobombi mikanda;
Elihoreph and Ahijah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, the recorder;
4 Benaya, mwana mobali ya Yeoyada, azalaki mokonzi ya mampinga; Tsadoki mpe Abiatari, bazalaki Banganga-Nzambe;
Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the army; Zadok and Abiathar were priests;
5 Azaria, mwana mobali ya Natan, azalaki mokonzi ya babateli biloko ya mokonzi; Zabudi, mwana mobali ya Natan, azalaki Nganga-Nzambe mpe mopesi toli ya mokonzi;
Azariah the son of Nathan was over the officers; Zabud the son of Nathan was chief minister, the king’s friend;
6 Ayishari, mobateli biloko ya ndako ya mokonzi; Adonirami, mwana mobali ya Abida, azalaki mokengeli bato ya misala makasi.
Ahishar was over the household; and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the men subject to forced labor.
7 Kati na Isalaele mobimba, Salomo atiaki mpe bayangeli zomi na mibale ya bituka, oyo bazalaki na mokumba ya komema biloko mpo na mokonzi mpe mpo na ndako na ye. Moyangeli moko na moko asengelaki kopesa biloko mpo na sanza moko na mobu.
Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, who provided food for the king and his household. Each man had to make provision for a month in the year.
8 Tala bakombo na bango: Beni-Uri: moyangeli ya etuka ya bangomba ya Efrayimi;
These are their names: Ben Hur, in the hill country of Ephraim;
9 Beni-Dekeri: moyangeli ya Makatsi, Shaalibimi, Beti-Shemeshi, Eloni mpe Beti-Anani;
Ben Deker, in Makaz, in Shaalbim, Beth Shemesh, and Elon Beth Hanan;
10 Beni-Esedi: moyangeli ya Aruboti (Soko mpe mokili mobimba ya Eferi);
Ben Hesed, in Arubboth (Socoh and all the land of Hepher belonged to him);
11 Beni-Abinadabi: moyangeli ya Dori; abalaki Tafati, mwana mwasi ya Salomo;
Ben Abinadab, in all the height of Dor (he had Taphath, Solomon’s daughter, as wife);
12 Baana, mwana mobali ya Ayiludi: moyangeli ya Taanaki, Megido mpe Beti-Sheani mobimba, pembeni ya Tsaritani, na se ya Jizireyeli, wuta na Beti-Sheani, na Abele-Meola mpe koleka Yokimeami;
Baana the son of Ahilud, in Taanach and Megiddo, and all Beth Shean which is beside Zarethan, beneath Jezreel, from Beth Shean to Abel Meholah, as far as beyond Jokmeam;
13 Beni-Geberi: azalaki kovanda na Ramoti kati na Galadi mpe azalaki moyangeli ya bamboka ya Yairi, mwana mobali ya Manase, kati na Galadi, mpe ya Arigobi kati na Bashani oyo ezalaki na bingumba tuku motoba oyo batonga makasi mpe bikangelo bikuke ya bamir na yango ezalaki ya bibende ya bronze.

14 Ayinadabi, mwana mobali ya Ido: moyangeli ya Maanayimi;
Ahinadab the son of Iddo, in Mahanaim;
15 Ayimaatsi: moyangeli ya Nefitali. Ye mpe abalaki Basimati, mwana mwasi ya Salomo.

16 Baana, mwana mobali ya Ushayi: moyangeli ya Aseri mpe ya Bealoti;
Baana the son of Hushai, in Asher and Bealoth;
17 Jozafati, mwana mobali ya Paruya: moyangeli ya Isakari;
Jehoshaphat the son of Paruah, in Issachar;
18 Shimei, mwana mobali ya Ela: moyangeli ya Benjame.
Shimei the son of Ela, in Benjamin;
19 Geberi, mwana mobali ya Uri: moyangeli ya Galadi (mokili ya Sikoni, mokonzi ya bato ya Amori; mpe mokili ya Ogi, mokonzi ya Bashani). Mpe na likolo ya bayangeli nyonso, ezalaki na moyangeli moko oyo azalaki kokamba bango.
Geber the son of Uri, in the land of Gilead, the country of Sihon king of the Amorites and of Og king of Bashan; and he was the only officer who was in the land.
20 Bato ya Yuda mpe ya Isalaele bazalaki ebele lokola zelo ya libongo ya ebale monene; bazalaki kolia, komela mpe bazalaki na esengo.
Judah and Israel were numerous as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking and making merry.
21 Salomo azalaki kokonza bikolo wana nyonso, kobanda na ebale Efrate kino na mokili ya bato ya Filisitia, mpe kino koleka mondelo ya Ejipito. Na bomoi na ye mobimba, bikolo yango ezalaki kofuta mpako epai na ye mpe ezalaki na se ya bokonzi na ye.
Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the River to the land of the Philistines, and to the border of Egypt. They brought tribute and served Solomon all the days of his life.
22 Tala bilei ya Salomo ya mokolo na mokolo: bakilo nkoto libwa ya semule mpe bakilo nkoto zomi na mwambe ya farine,
Solomon’s provision for one day was thirty cors of fine flour, sixty measures of meal,
23 bangombe zomi ya mafuta, bangombe tuku mibale ya esobe, bameme mpe bantaba nkama moko, bakisa bamboloko, bambuli, bankayi mpe bandeke ya mafuta.
ten head of fat cattle, twenty head of cattle out of the pastures, and one hundred sheep, in addition to deer, gazelles, roebucks, and fattened fowl.
24 Azalaki kokonza bikolo nyonso na ngambo ya weste ya Efrate, kobanda na Tifisa kino na Gaza, elongo na bakonzi nyonso ya ngambo yango; mpe azalaki na kimia elongo na bikolo nyonso ya zingazinga.
For he had dominion over all on this side the River, from Tiphsah even to Gaza, over all the kings on this side the River; and he had peace on all sides around him.
25 Na mikolo nyonso ya bomoi ya Salomo, bato ya Yuda mpe ya Isalaele, kobanda na Dani kino na Beri-Sheba, bazalaki na kimia, moto na moto azalaki kovanda na se ya banzete na ye ya vino mpe ya figi.
Judah and Israel lived safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.
26 Salomo azalaki na mapango nkoto minei ya bampunda mpe basoda oyo batambolaka likolo ya bampunda, nkoto zomi na mibale.
Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.
27 Bayangeli ya bituka bazalaki komema bilei, moto na moto na sanza na ye, mpo na mokonzi Salomo mpe mpo na bato nyonso oyo bazalaki kolia na mesa ya mokonzi; bazalaki kosala ete eloko moko te ezanga.
Those officers provided food for King Solomon, and for all who came to King Solomon’s table, every man in his month. They let nothing be lacking.
28 Bazalaki mpe komema bambuma ya orje mpe matiti mpo na bampunda, ndenge mobateli biloko ya mokonzi azalaki kokatela bango.
They also brought barley and straw for the horses and swift steeds to the place where the officers were, each man according to his duty.
29 Nzambe apesaki Salomo bwanya, boyebi mingi, mpe mayele ya kososola makambo mingi, ata ezali ebele lokola zelo ya libongo ya ebale monene.
God gave Solomon abundant wisdom, understanding, and breadth of mind like the sand that is on the seashore.
30 Bwanya ya Salomo ezalaki makasi koleka bwanya ya bato nyonso ya ngambo ya este mpe ya Ejipito.
Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east and all the wisdom of Egypt.
31 Azalaki na bwanya koleka bato nyonso; koleka ata Etani, moto ya Ezera; Emani, Kalikoli mpe Darida, bana mibali ya Maoli. Boye, sango na ye epanzanaki kati na bikolo nyonso ya zingazinga.
For he was wiser than all men—wiser than Ethan the Ezrahite, Heman, Calcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol; and his fame was in all the nations all around.
32 Asalaki masese nkoto misato mpe banzembo nkoto moko na mitano.
He spoke three thousand proverbs, and his songs numbered one thousand five.
33 Alobaki na tina na banzete, kobanda na nzete ya sedele ya Libani kino na nzete ya izope oyo ebimaka na mir; azalaki mpe koloba na tina na banyama mpe bandeke, na tina na bikelamu oyo etambolaka na libumu mpe na tina na bambisi ya mayi.
He spoke of trees, from the cedar that is in Lebanon even to the hyssop that grows out of the wall; he also spoke of animals, of birds, of creeping things, and of fish.
34 Bakonzi ya bikolo nyonso ya mokili, oyo bazalaki koyoka sango ya bwanya ya Salomo, bazalaki kotinda bato, wuta na bikolo na bango, mpo na kokende koyoka bwanya na ye.
People of all nations came to hear the wisdom of Solomon, sent by all kings of the earth who had heard of his wisdom.
